Vivid was a beautiful mare she had everything and she was treated as if she was higher than the highest priest. She had beautiful white and light gray mare going down her body and her eyes sparkled with sky blue eyes. She was the sunshine of the East Tribe. She was the mark of beauty and no male unicorn could resist her beauty. She had no cutie mark but she did have a mark on her neck, a unusual mark, only a mark a God would give to their children. The high priest knew she was a blessing of the Gods and the symbol of peace.
The hut where her foster mother held her and cared for her. The same hut where she claimed Vivid as her child. Vivid had a amazing relationship with her and she would spend as much time with her as possible and went every where with her but she just wasn't allowed to cross the river over to the East and no pony was allowed either. The only ones who crossed were the tribe armies and the high priest to retrieve the fallen warriors. The High Priest always made it back but the warriors only time they made it back was when they won a battle. They never surrender and they never stopped fighting and wouldn't give up to the Earth Ponies. They weren't as armored as the Earth Ponies either, they went into battle with ragged robes with patches but they had pride.
One day Vivid walked into the hut to speak to her foster mother.
"Mother, why is are we fighting the Earth ponies why aren't we making peace with them?"
As she sighed she looked at Vivid and replied
"It was 53 years ago when I was a child, King Helisa father of King Limopia who raised Prince Somber, He started this war when he saw us, Unicorns. He wanted to take us and use us as slaves to take over the land and the High Priest would have received a small portion of gold and silver. Our High Priest Sodura refused and this made Helisa very angry. Helisa gave Sodura three days to apply to his demands or he would take it by force. Then Sodura turned and walked away and we already tried to make peace with them but they are so suborned and prideful that they didn't listen. After Helisa died, King Limopia took power and is blind what he is fighting for."
"You mentioned a prince of their kingdom, do you know if he could be the key to peace between our kingdoms?"
Vivid replied.
"I do not have the slight of clue, all I know is he was born the same day you were in the same place in the middle of the war zone."
Vivid bowed her head and gave thanks and walked out, and looked East seeing the black smog in the distance covering the East Kingdom.
