CHAPTER 53
Monstrous forests

“Only one of my friends to my belief will freak out about me walking with you.” Twilight said to the ogre with a smile. The ogre still looked at the ground, not knowing what to say Twilight decided to stop, and have a small talk. “So, I know we just met, but you haven’t said much since I’ve agreed to us being friends. I know you’re new to having friends in all, but you could have imagined what we as friends do right?” The ogre shrugged, and continued forward, Twilight didn’t have much to say. This creature didn’t seem all that dangerous, but it did give off it’s own bad feeling. A few minutes had past when she saw one beam of light shoot up into the sky, and as more time past more and more beam shot up. These beams were colored accordingly to her friend’s Elements of Harmony. Twilight looked up to the ogre, and said “THAT MUST BE MY FRIENDS!” She picked up the pace to regroup with them as soon as possible. The moon dropped early, and the sun rose up as soon as it dropped. What was going on. She finally got to the nearby bushes of the opening in which her friends stood. She looked behind her while saying “Ok that’s them, are you ready to meet them.” By the time her head turned to look for him, she noticed he was nowhere to be seen. Twilight decided it would good to go and search for him, he would be a great resource of defense against what would lie ahead. She came back to a smaller clearing that had shown her why her new friend didn’t respond to her, nor continued to follow. This ogre apparently wasn’t any normal ogre. It was a half breed between both a cave troll and an ogre. Twilight looked around, and found a small flower on the ground, picked it up, and moved it over to the stone statue of the ogre friend. “I’m sorry it had to be this way.” Twilight turned back, and ran into the clearing with her friends. They all were lying on the ground asleep. She didn’t want to wake them up, so she sat there watching her great friends sleep until they would have the strength to move on. A few hours later Twilight was lying on the ground waiting, when she heard a familiar voice come from behind. “Twilight, where have you been? All your friends have been so worried about you, they didn’t know what to do without you.” Twilight turned to see Princess Cadence standing next to a nearby tree, as Twilight and Cadence greeted each other the others woke up in surprise to see Cadence, and were in more surprised to see Twilight.
