Dear diary,

today was a wonderful day! I met Flitter and Cloudchaser while I was strolling through the shops in Ponyville. We talked about the upcoming Grand Galloping Gala, and guess what? They have a extra ticket just for me! I finally get to meet the Wonderbolts and Princess Celestia! I've been waiting to go to the Gala for years, but I never got the chance.

Anyways, I think I should get some sleep, it's been a long day.

Derpy put her diary away and got into her bed. What a great day. I hope tomorrow will be just as terrific as today, she thought, as she slowly fell asleep.








The sound of her alarm clock woke Derpy up. Slowly, and still tired, she got up and got ready for the day, not knowing that this day will change her life forever.

Oh no, I'm all out of muffins. I guess I have to get some from Sugarcube Corner then. 

She opened the door to see another beautiful day, just like yesterday. The sky was blue, the birds were chirping, and everypony seemed to be enjoying this beautiful day.
Derpy spread her wings and flew in the direction of Sugarcube Corner.

I sure hope they still have some muffins left, I'm so hungry, I could eat a horse.

She was almost at her destination, when she got distracted by Flitter.

"Hey Derpy, where are you going in such a rush?"

Still flying, she answered: "I'm going to Sugarcube Corner to get some mu-", before she could finish, she was interrupted by a familiar voice in front of her.

"Get out of the way, Derpy!"

Rainbow Dash? What the h-

That was the last thing Derpy heard, before she crashed into Rainbow Dash and fell unconcious.

"Why don't you watch where you're going, Derpy?" shouted the angry Rainbow Dash.
