Ponyta was dead but only for 8 minutes. "Why hasn't your breathing slowed down?" said Ponyta's rescuer. Then Ponyta felt a claw touch his back. "Oh no, you're getting colder," said the rescuer. Ponyta started feeling warmer and he felt his mane ignite, then his tail. 


"Thanks for saving me," Ponyta said. 



"My name's Spike," said the purple dragon.


"I'm Ponyta," Ponyta said, "Where am I?"


"You're in Ponyville," Spike said, "What does your cutie mark mean?" Ponyta stared at Spike confused about what he meant. 


"What's a cutie mark?" asked Ponyta. Spike just pointed at Ponyta's flank. Ponyta looked at it, it was a single red flame. "I think it means that I am a great fire user," Ponyta said.


Spike looked at Ponyta and asked, "Where are you from, Ponyta?"


"I'm from Viridian Forest in the Kanto region," said Ponyta.


"I've never heard of that place," Spike said. Ponyta started to feel a sharp pain in his back.


"Ow, my back," Ponyta said.


"I'd better get you to Fluttershy," Spike said. Three little fillies heard what Spike had said. 


"Cutie Mark Crusaders, we have to help this pony," said the yellow filly with a red mane. 


"Get him in the wagon," said the orange filly with a light purple mane. Ponyta was placed in the wagon and he actually fit in it. The orange filly was on a scooter attached to the wagon and Ponyta was going to see some pony named Fluttershy.
