Rainbow was deeply caked in her own blood, and she could feel the pain growing slowly as she was near her time of death. Her last sight was her yellow skinned, pink maned friend next to her side, crying uncontrollably as she watched Rainbow bleed out.
'RAINBOW!' Applejack and Twilight yelled as they rushed to her aid.
Rainbow gave a faint groan of pain as her pains grew weaker and blackness overtook her vision. Her last words were 'I'm sorry... I'm so sorry...'
Her body grew cold by the time Applejack and Twilight reached her.
Twilight hurriedly scanned around her neck and hoof for a pulse, but found no signs of her being alive.
'Rainbow! Can ya hear me?! Please don't be dead!' Applejack yelled, in hope that Rainbow's soul would hear her.
Fluttershy couldn't bare watching her friend be near death again, and she burst into tears. However, she was interrupted as they felt a small beat coming from Rainbow's neck.
'R-R-Rainbow....?' Applejack said softly near Rainbow's ear.
Rainbow suddenly began breathing again and everyone's faces lit up in relief.
Even though she was alive, the most unexpected thing happened.
Rainbow's still cold and motionless body soon heated up to an extremely hot temperature, her lifeless eyes opened slowly. However, something was different it seemed. Her eyes were no longer her heavenly magenta and sweet eyes, they were replaced by a devilishly glowing red.
Her blood stopped pouring and her injuries all healed quickly. She let out a snarl and sat upwards.
Her friends were shocked by what they had just seen in front of them.
Twilight muttered and stuttered as she quietly and softly said,'H-H-H-How did that j-j-just happen? Th-Th-That's impossible...'
The devilish grin turned its attention towards Twilight's shocked eyes.
The blood red teeth made Twilight cringe and flinch as the they were revealed.
'You're next! You must BLEED!'
The crazed mare tackled Twilight to the ground as Rainbow bit her neck, causing the blood to start pouring out.
Twilight let out a cry of pain as the teeth sunk in, coming near the bone.
Applejack and Rarity tried to pull the crazed Pegasus off Twilight, but she was just too strong for them.
But, with AJ and Rarity pulling at her back hooves, it made the pain grow intensely as she still had her teeth locked in Twilight's neck.
Twilight tried to use her magic, but the pain and strength made it merely impossible to work under the strength of Rainbow.
Fluttershy was still crying but soon noticed the crazed mare through her tears.
'Rainbow...RAINBOW! STOP! PLEASE!' Fluttershy balled at Rainbow, knowing that she would stop if she heard the voice of her fillyhood friend.
Rainbow's ears pricked at Fluttershy's voice, making the cyan mare turn and focus her attention on Fluttershy.
'Fluttershy...?' The devilish voice turned partly back into Rainbow's, making the normal Rainbow regain slight control over the demon currently in control of her body. She flicked her head back at Twilight's bleeding wound and then back at Fluttershy a few times before saying anything.
When she finally did say something, it came out hoarse. 'I... I'm sorry, Fluttershy....' Before Rainbow finished talking the demon interrupted her with high anger eminent. 'Rrrrr! IF SHE DOESN'T DIE I'LL KILL YOU AND EVERYONE YOU KNOW! EVEN YOUR FAMILY!'
Rainbow wouldn't hold back.
Even though the demon within her had control of her soul and body, Rainbow was too strong and too loyal to be broken down and be consumed. The things that kept her going were Fluttershy's love of friendship and their friend's strength.
'SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP! YOU WILL NOT KILL ME, MY FRIENDS OR EQUESTRIA, NOR OUR FAMILIES! YOU'RE NOT HAVING MY BODY OR ANYPONY ELSE'S!' Rainbow's voice grew with total anger, making her pain slowly fade away from her tormented soul.
The voice angrily protested. 'YES! I! WILL!' It then made Rainbow's body burn hotter than anything she had ever felt. It laughed and escaped her body, revealing itself to everypony there.
Rainbow screamed in agony as it picked her up with the power of its dark and evil magic and began ramming her into the iron poles of a nearby cell.
The pain hurt worse than being slammed like a battering ram into a concrete wall, and caused more damage to Rainbow.
Her teeth began to crack and break apart with each high forced ram, this in turn, started making her squeal in agony as the feeling made her nerves fill with endless pain.
'NOOO! STOP! STOP! PLEASE STOP!' Fluttershy yelled at the demon as she saw it brutally and savagely beat her friend up horribly.
'NO! SHE HAS TO DIE! HAHAHAHAHA!' The demon cackled maniacally as it eyed its bloody work.
Rainbow's blood began to pour from her mouth making trails as she was being pulled back and forth like a ragdoll.
She was feeling very faint, was very bruised and bloody, and the pain was astounding, but she wouldn't give in.
Twilight was still on the floor, bleeding from her wounded neck, but despite her pain, she used what little strength remained in her weakened body to summon her magic. She was able to stop Rainbow from being rammed into the wall.
Once Twilight had stopped her from moving, Rainbow quickly fainted from the pain and blood loss. The demon got even angrier at what she was doing.
Without hesitation, it used its power and threw Rainbow's unconscious body aside and focused on Twilight.
The demon let out a loud scream of frustration and yelled in Twilight's face with a hot, brimstone-smelling breath.
'HOW DARE YOU INTERFERE WITH ME! I WILL FINISH WHAT I HAVE STARTED!' The evilness suddenly fell silent and took all control of his darkness from Rainbow Dash and transferred himself into Twilight as a new host.
The feeling of darkness invading Twilight's soul was agonizing and gave her a fiery feeling that surrounded her heart and even her very soul.
She screamed and let out cries of pain as she slowly and aimlessly walked around, hitting her head with her hooves.
'AHHHH! OH MY GOD! ITHURTSITHURTS! IT BURNS! AHHH!' Twilight's burst of cries of agony echoed throughout the corridors of the cell block and deeper into the facility, loud enough as to where more guards could possibly hear it.
'NGH! Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity! AGGHHRHHH! GET RAINBOW OUT OF HERE! RUN!'
'But, Twi-' Applejack protested, but was cut off by Twilight.
'GOOOOO!' she yelled
Fluttershy, Applejack and Rarity quickly ran over to Rainbow's unconscious body and scooped her up onto Applejack's back.
Without looking back, they all ran off to find another route out of the prison.
By the time they had left Twilight alone, screaming her head off in pain, she had been turned into what had once been Rainbow's tormented soul.
Twilight had blood running from her mouth like a stream as she gave a maniacal smile, revealing her gruesome blood stained teeth.
'GRRRRRAHHH! YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE! AHAHAHAHAAA!' The evilness now surrounding Twilight's voice was getting more aggressive by the hour.
Sooner or later, she would have killed her friends, but would she ever find them to do her work?
