//------------------------------// // Princess Celestia's Decision // Story: (SiC) Part 8 - They Will Know By Our Love // by Brian Jacko //------------------------------// Twilight Sparkle brought Risk Taker to see the Princess. The Princess had some free time that she put aside in order to speak with these two ponies. The guards opened the doors to Princess Celestia's throne and let the two ponies in. Twilight and Risk approached the Princess and bowed low to the floor. "Thank you for responding so quickly to my letter last night and taking the time to see us today," Twilight said. "I know you have such a busy schedule." "I have already read your letter about the story of what happened to Rainbow Dash and last night, I spent much of my time in prayer asking what I should do." "I know decisions like this don't happen over night, but we came in hopes that you might have some ideas. Rainbow Dash wanted to come, but she's in too much pain right now," Twilight said. "I already have the answer to your question regarding Risk Taker's freedom," the sun Princess said. Risk put her head down low and her ears drooped down. "I know that I deserve punishment. How long are you planning on locking me up?" "You will not be locked up and you will face no prison sentence," the Princess said. Risk picked her head up and looked at Princess Celestia with shock. "Why and how are you able to make such a quick decision like that? How can you even trust me?" "Because I had a dream that came from the Lord last night about you. I was told in my dream that you would come to me today and that I should set you free because you have been transformed by His love and that you will do many great things through Him." "I don't know what to say," Risk Taker said. "I am very grateful for all of this. I guess I had followed a friend of mine who was very hateful and being with her brain washed me." "There's a lesson to be learned in all of this," the Princess said. "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" Risk bowed her head low and nodded in agreement. "You spoke about you're friend in the letter that Twilight wrote me who encouraged you to hurt other Christians. Where is she now?" Princess Celestia asked. "I don't know exactly, but she told me that she was fleeing to the city of Manehatten," Risk said. "That's good enough. I will send out my guards to track her down before she does anymore harm," Princess Celestia said. "She will not be hidden for long. As for you, I have a special request." "What may that request be?" Risk asked. "I want you to write letters to me and I want to hear from you often about your journey in the faith." "I will most certainly do so, my Princess. I will also be attending Twilight's support groups and Bible studies," Risk replied. "Then I do not have anymore to say to you at this moment. I wish you well and I will be looking forward to reading your letters and hearing from Twilight Sparkle on how you are doing." Risk bowed low once more. "Thank you for being such a merciful and forgiving leader. We are blessed to have you ruling." The Princess put her front hoof up in the air to signify that she could go and was free now. She also had to get to many other important matters right now. Twilight and Risk said goodbye and left the palace. Together, they would be going back to Twilight's library for her Bible study group.
