Nurse Redheart brought a pink bundle to Orion Comet, before biting her lip ,giving a sad glance at the bundle,and walking away. Orion didn't understand why the nurse had acted in this way. She looked down and nuzzled the pale green foal. She could find no fault with the pink-maned earth pony. Until the foal opened her eyes. Orion couldn't believe what she saw, the foal's eyes were broken, pupils and iris scattered in jagged pieces around the surface of the eye. The jagged pieces were all different colors. The color drained from her face, This is what i get for marrying an earth pony. A tear rolled down her face,They said that there could be defects but, why, why my poor little baby!? her wing unfurled around the little bundle, the creamy brown contrasting the powder pink. Why?

“y-you can’t fix them?” Orion sobbed as she cradled the pale green foal “She can’t see anything!” she cried, poking the doctor in the chest, “My baby might die because she can’t see anything but tie-die!” the foal snuggled to her mother unknowingly, oblivious to the arguing ponies, the only thing she cared about was being warm.
