//------------------------------// // Trade mistakes // Story: Trade mistakes // by Aleksandr Sherbet //------------------------------// "Wake up Larson." Celestia said to her friend "Ugh five more minutes Celly." Larson said to his friend "Nuh uh you're getting up and that's final." Celestia tackled Larson and tickled the boy. "S-stop it Celly!" He said trying to contain his laughter. Larson was a six year old boy that rarely made friends mostly because of his inability to talk to anyone. Besides Celly his imaginary friend. They say the mind is a powerful tool well they were right. Every time Larson went to school his filly companion stuck by him. He always told his parents that she was real. They just thought that it was his active imagination. Celly always told Larson that they didn't believe him and that's why they couldn't see her but he tried all kinds of ways to make them believe. But his attempts always got him in trouble. "Alright come on Larson it's time for school." Larson's mother Tabitha said to her child "Okay mom lets go Celly." Larson said to his imaginary companion. Larson's mother always thought it was silly that her child always thought that there was someone there with him. But in reality he talked to air. Larson even told his mother about Celly's features she had a white coat with a transparent rainbow mane and small wings being a filly and all. She also had a horn so she can entertain Larson with her magical powers. "Tabitha you know that's its getting ridiculous that our son is talking to imaginary friends he's six years old he needs real friends." Larson's father said to his wife. "Oh leave him alone Robert he'll grow out of it." She said with annoyed look "Look I'm worried about him I have this odd feeling that he's going to be a socially awkward child." Robert said to Tabitha Tabitha sighed as she walked towards the kitchen to prepare Larson's breakfast. "You're wrong Celly even if red ranger was strong he couldn't beat blue ranger. Blue ranger is way smarter then red ranger." "But red ranger is the leader I bet he can beat anypony in a fight." Celestia said to Larson Larson rolled his eyes and walked towards the kitchen. He sat down and enjoyed his breakfast of Reese puffs. While Celly enjoyed a bowl of oatmeal. Larson always laughed at Celly trying to eat her breakfast as she couldn't lift her spoon up in the air. "Oh shush Larson you know I can't use my powers this early." Celestia said with a sigh. After a few attempts Celestia decided to just eat it out of the bowl. "Uh Celly you have a little something right here." Larson said wiping the oatmeal from her muzzle. Celly had a small blush and giggled as Larson had a milk mustache. "Larson time for school!" Tabitha shouted to her son Larson grabbed his bag and Celly followed using her tiny wings to glide. "Come on Luna we have to go!" Larson shouted to his other imaginary friend. Luna was Celestia's younger sister. She was shy but kind her coat was indigo with a light blue mane. She to had wings and a horn. "O-okay give me a second." Luna said from the other room. She appeared wearing a red rose behind her ear. "Aww that's so cute." Discord said next to Larson. Luna had a small blush on her cheeks she always tried to impress Larson but he always cared for her no matter what. "Discord stop." Larson said scowling his third imaginary "What? I didn't do anything." Discord said playing innocent. Larson rolled his eyes and walked out the door with his three friends. Larson was listening to his mother's speech on making friends. "Just tell them what you like and try to get to know the person." Tabitha said to Larson "Mom I already have three friends discord,Celly, and lulu." He informed her "They aren't real son they're imaginary." "Why can't she just accept the fact that we do exist?" Discord asked "I dunno maybe she doesn't believe that you're there." Larson said to discord "Well we are invisible to your parents. Other children don't really pay any attention to us." Celly said with smile "Yeah she's probably going to keep saying that you guys aren't really there and in this school I already know that they're going to call me crazy." You said with an eye roll. Luna was being extremely quiet and it was weird as she always loved talking. Even in a shy stature she talked a lot when she was with Larson. She was humming a song that Larson heard before. "Luna what are you doing?" Larson asked "Oh I'm just humming a song I heard last night." "What's it called?" You asked "Twinkle twinkle little star. It's a beautiful song I just wish I knew the lyrics." Luna said with a frown "It's okay Luna I promise I'll try to find the lyrics." Larson said to her which made Luna happy she could always rely on Larson. "Really thank you thank you thank you!!!" She said hugging Larson. Celestia giggled at her sister action but discord rolled his eyes knowing that its just the beginning of a prank less day. 950 years later... Celestia rose from bed as she had the same dream for past few days ever since discord was reformed she had visions of a man he looked familiar but distant. Celestia sighed and tried to remember who he was and why she was dreaming of him. Was it an old flame? An old friend? Celestia was drawing a blank she couldn't remember who he was. Since discord was newly reformed she doubted that he knew anything. Celestia sighed and rose from bed today was a new day. Luna... Luna felt happy as happy as she can be. She remembered a friend his name Larson after having dreams of the boy she remembered she had a slight crush in him. But that was years ago and to this day she couldn't forget the day he surprised her with a seashell. The day they went to the beach was her favorite day with the boy. She still had the seashell as a memento of that day. She remember that Celestia and Discord played pranks on some of the beach goers. Which resulted in Larson getting grounded which made Larson ground Celestia and Discord. Luna loved remembering the old days of her youth but then her smile faltered as she remembered the day that their parents took them back to equestria after being taken care of by Larson. Discord... Discord was relaxing and playing small pranks to the citizen of equestria. He loved doing that they'd always laughed it off. But something made him remember a boy named Larson. A good friend that he could count on when he was bored when he was much younger. He remembered when his two sisters were victims of a prank that made him and Larson laugh their butts off. It also changed the relationship between Luna and Larson. When Luna was around Larson she'd always have a blush and tried to get close to him. He knew his little sister and that was love. Luna fell in love with Larson but Larson was oblivious to her actions. He felt terrible when their parents had to take them back to equestria leaving his best and only friend. Larson 7 years later... Larson woke up and stretched as he did he looked at himself in the mirror. Larson was no longer the six year old with imaginary friends but a 13 year old boy. After King solstice and Queen equinox took their children back to equestria. Larson never forgot the words they said to him when he was younger. "Thank you for your hospitality as we wanted our daughters and son to learn about human nature they have you to thank for the future generations of equestria." King solstice said to Larson "If there was only a way we could take you with us we would but sadly that would go against the rules if the universe. I'm sorry." Queen equinox said to Larson. Larson was heartbroken that his best friends had to leave but knew that it wasn't their world it was his. "Your welcome and please don't be sorry they were my greatest friend and where ever they end up I hope you're proud of them." Larson said hugging Queen equinox. King solstice smile as he saw his wife being given a proper hug. "We must go my dear." King solstice said walking away from Larson. "Good bye young human hopefully our paths will meet again," Larson waved goodbye as he sat in his empty room he looked around to see the vast drawings of his imaginary friends. Larson reality... Larson looked into an album of drawings and closed the book. He had great memories he'd never want to trade as they weren't mistakes.
