                    CHAPTER 40
Trapped

Twilight stared furiously at the Queen as she stood up from her throne in which was built from miserable ponies. “How do you expect to defeat me? You don’t have those precious Elements of harmony you used against King Sombra.” Twilight simply laughed at the fact that the Queen was being foolish. Twilight gathered up her friends, and said “One does not simply take the Elements of Harmony away from its creators!” They all seemed to stand in a perfect formation waiting for something. Twilight staggered a bit after a few minutes noticing that her element hadn’t arrived yet. The Queen laughed evilly at their ridiculous action in trying to retrieve their elements. “What happens when you constantly have the elements under a floatation spell? If you don’t know, then you should. It stops any movement made by non physical objects.” Twilight looked at the ground in sadness, and said “Well is there any way you could stop this?!?!” She started to cast her small protection spell, and grew stronger and stronger as she casted it. “Why aren’t you fools doing anything about this, GET HER!!!” The Queen shouted at her minions, and rose up from her throne. “You won’t defeat me this time.” The Queen disappeared. Twilight was almost done with her protection spell when a changeling nearly tackled her, and Applejack jump to take the pressure while the others fought off other changelings. The protection bubble started to spread at an exponential rate, and eventually covered the whole room knocking any changeling it hit farther and farther away. 

“Where am I?” Shining Armor said as he stood up in the middle of a small forest. He looked over the closest clearing, and saw big scorch marks. Wolf Tongue lay in the middle of the battle, he was still alive, but he was lying still as if something was preparing to attack him. Shining Armor looked up to see an enormous dragon about to release more flames upon Wolf Tongue. Shining Armor started to cast the spell to reflect the flames to protect Wolf Tongue, but the dragon got to attack first. The flames had almost reached Wolf Tongue when a bright purple bubble formed around Wolf Tongue, who had gasped in shock of the flames not effecting him. “You shall not fall in battle Wolf Tongue.” Shining Armor shouted from the nearby forest. Wolf Tongue got up from the scorch marks on the ground, and picked up a chain from nearby. He threw is over the dragon, and continued to this process until he had the dragon trapped. All of this nearby men popped out of the bushes shooting arrow at the dragon, and shouting “VICTORY TO THE SHADOW LEGION!” Shining Armor murmured to himself “Shadow Legion?” Wolf Tongue walked toward where Shining Armors shout came from, and said “Thank you for your help, we wouldn’t have won if it wasn’t for you.”
