The sun was beaming down, but there was a nice sea breeze coming in. “Oh, I would love to live here,” said Pingwinka. “The landscape is beautiful.” There were many different botanical gardens everywhere. The nature is luxurious. “I love the shops here,” said Scarlet. “Hey, Sakura. If you get paid for doing this float, then you gotta take us shopping.” “I will, Scarlet. Don’t worry,” said Sakura. “The princess will give us rooms in the castle to stay in, keep that in mind.” The rest of the girls started to squeal and jump, exciting to stay at the princess’ castle for three days. “Ok,” Sunny started. “As much as I would love to give you the tour of the whole series of islands, I will save that for tomorrow. I’m sure you’d love to step inside the palace, am I right?” The mares all nodded simultaneously. “Ok, then. Let’s go to her castle!” She turned her head to the driver. “Please bring us to Princess Bubbledust.” The driver nodded and started the cart. The ponies stepped out of the carriage and walked across what seemed to be a red carpet. “This is fancy,” said Scarlet. She was prancing along as if she was a famous star, pretending to sign autographs. When she pirouetted to face the ponies, they were bug eyed. “You are weird,” said Treble Streak. “Hey. We’re all weird here,” said Citra. “I would’ve done the same thing.” She looked up at the sky, noticing something flying. “Hey, guys! Look up there!” She pointed at a pegasus with a megaphone and a message hanging from his tail. He was repeating the words, “Parade in a few days! Come join the fun! Parade in a few days! Come join the fun!” The message hanging behind him said, “ANNUAL PARADE OF THE FOUR NATIONS IS HELD THIS FRIDAY AFTERNOON, FEATURING PRINCESS BUBBLEDUST HERSELF!” The girls started to jump and scream. “Ok, ladies,” said Sunny. “May I present to you Princess Bubbledust.” The castle doors opened, and a wisteria colored pony stepped outside with her red hair and a lavender dress, floor length with purple daisies connected to the skirt and the corset. She also has one big violet on her left ear next to her bangs. A golden tiara was shining from the sun and she had a pretty smile that matched her bright blue eyes. “Hello, Sakura. I see you’ve brought your friends. What a party,” the princess exclaimed. “I know,” Sakura said. “I didn’t want to just bring one friend, so I brought four.” The princess nodded and bowed her head to the ponies. “Nice meeting you, girls. I would like to know your names, starting with you.” She pointed at Citra and she stood still. “Oh, I’m Citra Sweet. My family owns a farm and we’re business partners with AppleJack and her family.” “Oh, that’s nice, Ms. Sweet. And how about you?” She was looking at Pingwinka. “Hello. I’m Pingwinka. I just finished my second year of college, majoring in business.” “That’s excellent. And you, my dear. What is your name?” She was looking at Scarlet. “I’ve seen many crystal ponies visiting here all the time.” “Really? Well, I’m Scarlet Jewel. I own a five star restaurant at the Crystal Empire. ‘Brightly Shining’ is the name.” “I’ve never been there, but my servants have on their vacation last year. They had great reviews about it. It’s really nice. How is business now?” “A bit slow now since it’s just spring, but in the summer, it should be more busy.” “Ok. And you.” She was looking at Treble Streak. “What’s your name?” “I’m Treble Streak. I paint and I also play music as well. People call me a prodigy, but I’m not really.” “I’m pretty sure that when you perform on the float on Friday, then you’ll definitely be amazing. It’s great that you can paint. Are you thinking of designing Sakura’s float?” Treble nodded. “Ok, then. I’ll show you girls your rooms.” The ponies were walking in the hallway admiring the accessories the princess possessed. Treble got confused for a bit. “What’s the matter,” asked Sakura. “Is there something wrong,” asked the princess. “I think I’ve seen this artist’s painting style before. I don’t know who’s, though. Can you tell me who it is?” “Why, certainly. I hired this young stallion from an art school to come live here and paint for hallways and many special occasions. Mr. Streamer is my artist. He has special talent.” Treble’s eyes widened, couldn’t believe the words she heard. “Mr. Streamer? Are you talking about..?” “Mr. Sunset Streamer? Yes. Why? Do you want me to call him?” Treble nodded in disbelief. “Ok.” She pressed a button on her collar, “Mr. Streamer, please come to the main hallway.” Treble sat down, shaking her head. Pingwinka sat next to her and hugged her. “What’s wrong,” she asked. An orange and yellow stallion came by and stood near the princess. He has a bass clef cutie mark with a paintbrush going through it. “Anything you need, princess?” “Someone wants to talk to you,” the princess said, and stood aside. “Sunset,” asked Treble. “Treble Streak?” He ran and hugged her, lifting her up and squeezing her tightly. “What are you doing here,” he asked. “Same thing I should be asking you,” Treble replied in mid-choke. He let go of her and set her on the floor. “What’s wrong?” “What’s wrong? How come you didn’t tell me that you were living here? I thought you’d come back home, Sunset!” “I know. I should’ve said something, but it happened so soon and I didn’t want to tell you right away.” “Well, you should’ve because I was waiting for you!” Treble and Sunset gave each other a stare. “May we ask what happened,” asked Scarlet. “Sure. Princess, you have a living room, right?” “Yes. Just open that door on your right.” Treble opened the door and the living room is so huge. There’s a 15ft chocolate color sectional with a huge fireplace and nice surround sound. The ponies all stared in awe. “Ok, we can sit down,” Treble said. They all gathered together and Sunset sat next to Treble. “Ok,” Treble started. “Sunset got accepted to an art school in The Four Nations four years ago. It was great news for both of us. We live together in Ponyville, but since he went to the college, it was just me.” “Princess Bubbledust visited the school one day on my senior year and examined all the art. I saw her talk to the principal about one of my paintings, wondering who painted it. The principal found me and pulled me over to the princess. I introduced myself to her and she said that she loved my artwork. She noticed that my cutie mark has a bass clef with a paintbrush. She asked what the bass clef was for. I told her that I sing bass in my choir and play the upright bass in my high school orchestra. She asked me to sing and I did. She was amazed at how good I was, not to be vain.” The ponies stared at him. They never knew him because Treble didn’t mention him. She missed him too much to talk about him. “Then she asked me if I wanted a job as a painter and a singer in her choir,” he continued. I was excited and said yes. She told me to pack up from my college dorm and come with her to live in the palace.” Treble stared at him angrily. “But you never told me that you left to live here! You could’ve told me and I would’ve lived here with you, but you never did,” Treble yelled. Tears are coming out of her eyes. Sunset scooted closer to her and hugged her. “I’m sorry, little sis,” he said. “I didn’t want to overwhelm you. You need to be in Ponyville. You know I can’t stay with you forever, right?” Treble looked up at him, wiping tears from her eyes. “We’re both adults. I can visit you. You can visit me, too. You need to finish college first, ok? Over in the Four Nations is expensive. Ponyville is your home. Stay there when you come back from the parade, ok?” Treble nodded, and the door opened. “I heard yelling,” said Princess Bubbledust. “Is everything ok?” Treble, red-eyed now, nodded. “Ok. You all should get some rest. I’ll show you your rooms, now.” The first room was so beautiful and huge. There was a queen bed with a yellow canopy around it. The closets were deep and windows were 10ft tall. “Citra Sweet, this is yours. Clothing is already provided.” Citra ran in and jumped onto her bed. “Oh, thank you, princess! It’s really nice.” The rest of the ponies walked to many rooms. We passed Scarlet’s crystal bed frame and drawers, Pingwinka’s rustic bedroom with a tall orange and lemon trees in every corner of the room, Treble Streak’s bedroom with an easel, and instruments like flute, trumpet, clarinet, alto sax in their cases, located next to Sunset’s room, and finally, Sakura’s room. When the door opened, the room was pretty dark with Japanese merchandise everywhere. Japanese lamps, kimonos, a countertop, authentic fans, The Mane Six Elements of Harmony project screen in Japanese. “Thank you so much, princess. It’s so beautiful.” “You’re welcome. Tell your friends that there’s a bathroom and shower near the living room so they can wash themselves up. Breakfast is at 8:30 tomorrow. They can go to the dining room which is not far from your room. You just go to your right and continue straight. Then take a right after the second door. You girls have a good night.” Sakura nodded, still standing under the moulding of the door. “You too. Thank you, princess for taking so much of your time to invite us to the parade. How did you find out about me?” “I’ll tell you at dinner tomorrow.” Bubbledust said. She walked out standing right outside the room with the door still open and called two names. Two colts came to her, a unicorn and a pegasus. “These colts are my number one guards. This pegasus is also my husband, Flash. And this is his cousin Evil Link. He will show you to the bathroom. ” She told Sakura. Flash and Bubbledust disappeared in the hallway. Evil smiled. “How about I show you there, just grab your robe” he asked. “Um, well my friend got paint on her too.” Sakura mumbled. He nodded and they walked down the hallway. Laughing came from Scarlet’s room. Evil knocked and yelled, “Hello!?” The laughing stopped and turned into complete silence. Scarlet opened the door. The rest of her friends sat on her bed. “Oh, hey, Sakura! And you..... what do you need,” she asked. “Treble and I are gonna get cleaned up. Where is she?” Sakura told her. “About that, she’s with her brother.” she whispered. “Doing what now,” Sakura asked. “I don’t know,” she replied. “She just said that she had to go to Sunset. She didn’t say why.” Sakura looked around the castle, trying to look for Treble but couldn’t find her. She kept on circling the castle, but the rooms were nowhere to be found. “Ugh, I feel so mucky,” she said to herself. “I’ll just wash up without her.” She walked to the bathroom and there were three showers and two tubs. There are 5 bathroom stalls. The bathroom was the biggest she’s ever seen. She turned on the water and tested the water. When it was at the right temperature, she stepped inside the shower. Her cherry blossom pink body was soaked closely to a salmon color. She shampooed her jet black, straight hair, so much darker than Octavia Melody’s and rinsed it off. She has such long hair that she could sit on it, but she decides to put it up in a bun to get it out of the way when preparing her sushi dishes. Sitting on the faucet counter was something she had always worn. A lucky tigerlily comb with dangling cherry blossom extensions. It was given from her grandmother who passed in Baltimare. She attaches the extensions for special occasions. After 10 minutes, she turned off the water and her horn glowed to wring her the excess water out of her hair. Her horn glowed again to dry herself with a blow dryer and put her kimono bathrobe on. As she was about to step out of the bathroom, the entrance opened and Treble stepped inside, but stopped, a bit startled to see Sakura. “Hey, what’s up?” “I was looking everywhere for you. Where were you?” she asked. “With my brother, he explained everything and we had a lot of catching up to do, you know?” Treble let out a sigh afterwards. She looked really upset when she walked over to the towel and sniffled. “What’s wrong,”Sakura asked. “It turns out that Sunset and I aren't as close as we were before. All he talks about now is what we will do after he gets out of college and then doing some work. He not gonna have time for us anymore....” She cried. Treble was now sitting on the floor crying. Sakura stroked her beautiful baby blue mane as she sobbed. “I’m not gonna see him anymore,” she said, choking back tears. “He’s leaving me. I won’t be able to talk to him.” Sakura thought for a moment. Hopefully, this won’t overwhelm her too much. “Come on, you’re full of paint. Go wash up. And don’t worry. I’ll convince him to keep in touch with you.”
