“Pinkie Pie, you have to stand up tall.  Learn to face your fears.  You’ll learn that they can’t hurt you, if you just laugh and make them disappear.”  Said Granny Pie.  

Pinkamena took her head from under her pillow.  “Really Granny Pie?  I just have to laugh?” Pinkamena said, and her Granny chuckled.  

“Nothing can hurt you, if you laugh in it’s face, Pinkie.” Granny said, and Pinkamena smiled.  Everypony always called her Pinkamena; Granny was the only one who called her Pinkie.  

“Thanks, Granny.  I’ll never be scared of anything again!”  Pinkamena said, and settled herself under her blanket.  

“Goodnight, Pinkie Pie.”  Granny said, and kissed her granddaughter goodnight.
