The next morning, Fluttershy came up to Rainbows crib and shook Rainbow gently. "Rainbow sweetie, it's time to wake up." she said in a sweet motherly tone.
Rainbow stirred a little bit but then went back to snoozing, Fluttershy picked her up over her shoulder and started pouncing Rainbow she would let her sleep but she had already slept half the day away and she had something special for her and Lightning, Rainbow started to open her eyes and yawned then she looked at her mother.
"Mommy, what is it, why did you wake me up?" Rainbow asked.
Fluttershy smiled. "You've been out most of the day and I have a surprise for you and Lightning." she replied going over to the other crib and reaching down into it she started rubbing Lightning's back.
Lightning opened her eyes and looked up at Fluttershy and smiled. "Good morning, mommy." she said happily it felt weird calling her that but it also felt good, she never had a mother before.
Fluttershy picked Lightning up in a free hoof then kissed both foals on the head, "Good morning you two, I have a surprise for the both of you." she said.
"What!?" both of them asked excitedly.
Fluttershy giggled. "Harry the bear invited us for a tea party, I know you two aren't into that stuff but if you want you could go play with the little critters that'll be there." she said.
Both of them thought of it for a moment then nodded in unison. "Otay Mommy, that's sounds cool." Lightning said.

Later, Fluttershy went to where Harry the bear invited her to with Rainbow and Lightning in there foal carrier, the spot was a nice place under a willow tree on top of a hill by a lake a perfect spot for tea.
Fluttershy trotted up to the tree and saw Harry under it sitting on a picnic blanket with a tea set and Fluttershy's other animal friends: Angel bunny, Tank, a few birds, squirrels, bear cubs and Mr. honey. Fluttershy came up to her animal friends and sat down on the blanket, she unstrapped the foals out of the carrier and let them down.
When Lightning saw Mr.honey she felt like peeing herself she could still remember the horrible beating she got from that honey badger then she felt a hoof on her back and she looked behind her to see Fluttershy with a comforting smile, "Don't worry he wont hurt you." she comforted then nodded to Mr.honey.
Mr. honey stood up from his spot and came over to Lightning, she squeed when he started to rub against her but then calmed down and smiled his fur felt so soft and she started to pet him.
Fluttershy smiled. "Okay you girls can go play now if you want to, Oh and stay close so I know where you are okay." she said, Both foals nodded then Angel came up to them and motioned for them to follow him.
Lightning let Honey go and followed behind Rainbow and Angel down the hill with some of the birds and squirrels and bear cubs to a safe spot by the lake.
Angel then turned around to meet his ward. "Okay kids, I will be your babysitter so I have some rules for you to follow." he said and everypony groaned he waved a paw. "Don't worry they're not all bad, all I want from you is to stay safe and have some fun!" he retorted and then they all cheered.
"Yes! So what do we do fiwst?" Lightning asked.
Angel put a paw to his chin thinking. "Hmm, we could play tag, would you like that?" he asked, Rainbow and Lightning shook there head yes.
"Yeah that sounds fun," Lightning said as she looked at Rainbow and boobed her nose, "youw it!" then flew away.
Rainbow was stunned at first but then squinted her eyes."Hey that's cheating!" she said then took of after her.
They played together with the animals for what felt like hours until the two foals felt tired and decided to take rest by the side of the lake, they were laying on there backs breathing heavily Lightning looked down at the water in the lake looking at her reflection.
"Hey Wainbow." Lightning called over to the other foal.
"Yeah?" Rainbow said
"Do you and Fwuttewshy weally forgive me?" she asked.
Rainbow sat up and looked at Lightning. "Yeah why wouldn't we? It wasn't weally your fauwt for what you did, well it kinda was but you just wanted to be loved by your daddy and he used that against you to do bad things so don't sweat it." Rainbow replied.
Lightning still felt bad. "But what I did was howwible, I couwd have huwt you." she said sadly then felt a small hoof on her and she looked at Rainbow.
"It's okay alwight, me and Fwuttewshy forgave you. Besides I think you've been punished enough." Rainbow said then looked away and rubbed the back of her head. "and maybe it'll be fun you know....to have a sister."
Lightning was surprised by that last comment. "Weally, you want me.....as a sister?" she asked.
Rainbow nodded. "Suwe why not? We'we stuck together anyway." she said then was suddenly was pulled into a hug by Lightning.
"Thank you, you and Mommy are so nice." she said hugging Rainbow, Rainbow wasn't into hugs, but she let it slide this once she returned the hug.
"D'aww isn't that cute." Fluttershy said who had left the picnic to get the foals, both Rainbow and Lightning let go of each other and looked up at their mommy and blushed she giggled. "Okay you two, it's time to go." she said as she picked them up and put them in the carrier and left for home.

When she got home she saw somepony standing on her porch, she got closer to the pony. "Umm hello, who are you...If you don't mind telling." Fluttershy asked.
The pony turned to Fluttershy he was a stallion with a dark green coat and a dark yellow mane. "Yes, I'm looking for my daughter Lightning Dust." the stallion said.
Lightning gasped she knew that voice she looked as best she could from the carrier at the stallion. "Daddy!!" she yelled.
The stallion looked from the mare to the foal in the carrier and raised a brow. "Dusty?" he said and came up to his daughter to get a closer look. "What happened to you?!" he asked in a bit of a mad tone.
Lightning said nothing and looked down ashamed.
"Umm maybe I can explain," Fluttershy said getting his attention. "if you could follow me inside."

Fluttershy explained to Storm Dust as he said his name was the story of what happened to Lightning, he was not amused when she finished her story, Storm sighed.
"Lightning, I didn't send you here to poison a pony's mind." he said to the foal by Fluttershy's side, Lightning curled up closer to Fluttershy. "You look at me when I'm talking to you young lady!" he yelled
"HEY!!" Fluttershy yelled starting to get angry from the stallions rude tone. "You know what you had in mind for her to do to Rainbow wasn't very nice either." she retorted.
Storm scuffed. "She's nopony important."
"Nopony important." Fluttershy snapped. "NOPONY IMPORTANT, THAT'S MY BABY!!" she yelled in a voice that could have matched Luna's canterlot voice.
Storm stood back started to get scared of the mare's anger, he gulped. "Well uuh sorry, well since this conversation is now over I guess I'll be going now with Lightning of course." he said walking over to Lightning about to take her until Fluttershy stood in front of him.
"NO! I'll tell you what your going to do, you're going to get out of my house and my town or else I'm going to rip your head and stick it so far up your plot THAT YOUR HEAD WILL REGROW BACK ON YOUR SHOULDERS!!" Fluttershy yelled her voice turned into something between her normal voice and something demonic and evil.
Storm stood further back from the mare. "Y-you cant stop me." he said.
"Rainbow, Lightning," Fluttershy said with her normal sweet motherly voice the foals looked at her. "I want you to close your eyes and ears, okay?" the two obeyed and did what they were told and Fluttershy looked back at the stallion.
Storm Dust got farther back afraid of what the mare may do.
"Angel!" Fluttershy called and Angel came into the room and handed Fluttershy a battle axe. "Okay you have five seconds to leave before I hack your head off." she warned.
He didn't hesitate to run out the door.
Fluttershy looked back at Angel. "Angel, I want you to get Mr. honey and his friends to get him and bring me back his skull." she said, Angel took back the battle axe and ran out the door.
Fluttershy calmed down and looked at her two little foals who still had there hooves in their ears and eyes shut she went to them and picked them up, Lightning opened her eyes and looked at Fluttershy. "Is he gone?" she asked.
Fluttershy smiled. "Yes he's gone," she said then hugged them both tight. "and we're going to be together forever."
Lightning returned her hug and so did Rainbow, she was with ponies who cared about her, ponies who would love her no matter what.
