                    CHAPTER 31
Hope

Cadence walked toward the Queen, and said “Why do you think you’re so weak huh?” Cadence smiled at the Queen who lay on the ground. She got up from where she lay, and said “How does one not see a flaw in their own weaponry. I mean she just used my own changeling against me.” Applejack looked to Twilight who started to say. “I’m going to tell my friends what i did so they understand a little more.” Twilight lead the other off to the side, and said “You remember in the caves when Trio told us she was a changeling. I channeled some of my own energy into her making seem as if she was receiving energy from love, but what i did was when she started to channel that energy to the Queen i thought of deception. I thought about Equestria being owned by the worst villains i know. So what happened was channeling all that sad energy through her brought the Queen down to such a weakness we could overpower her.” 

“Do you see that Raindrops, It looks like them.” Derpy pointed down toward the mountains where the Queen, and the others had moved to after a small conversation. Derpy and Raindrops quickly dove down to their location. When they both landed Raindrops said “It looks like you all got together, we’ve been looking for you guys for almost a month.” Pinkie Pie smiled, and hugged both of them as a thank you for their service. They both decided to stay with them because of the other work they would have to do at Canterlot. Cadence moved throughout the cave system looking around, until she finally stopped to say to the Queen “Canterlot will be capturing this land in behalf of these ponies’ bravery.” She placed a flag down with a big bright sun on it. Showing that this land was now ruled by Celestia. Twilight bowed down to the flag in honor of her own lands. Cadences looked over to Twilight, and said “I have one thing to ask you for a moment. We have a big dragonologist in the Canterlot castle. He wants to experiment on Spike, can he?” Twilight looked at the ground, and said “Will he be hurt in this experiment of his?” Cadence nodded no, and Twilight quickly answered to the nod saying “Then yes he can be experimented on.” Cadence disappeared the instant that Twilight finished her sentence along with a little more of a flash that instantly brought Spike to them. “Uh, hi” Spike said with a smile. Twilight hugged him, and said “I just confirmed them to experiment on you, be good” She smiled, and watched as he disappeared into thin air. Derpy looked over to Twilight right as a tear rolled off of her, and said “Hey, I’m sorry about you having to take this really long journey, but here is a muffin.” Twilight smiled at the offer, but she couldn’t eat at the moment she was still absorbing the feeling she was getting from when she defeated the Queen on her own. She was happy that at least one had been dealt with.
