"Y-y-yur a blank flank?!?" Apple Bloom asked, completely shocked beyond disbelief.
"Heh. Yes I am. Silver Spoon doesn't know about this. I was the leader, only because the Tiara meant leader. I had to take the control. But the story of my 'cutie mark' isn't one I like. I didn't earn it, It's not real, I used a marker, one that only comes off when rubbed with water, and rubbed only, a bath does does nothing. The mark has to be rubbed, because of this I don't take showers. " Diamond said, looking away.
"Wow...." Apple Bloom said in disbelief.
"Promise you wont tell anypony?" Diamond asked.
"Better, I'll Pinkie Promise." Apple Bloom replied.
"What's that?" Diamond asked.
"This, Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye!" Apple Bloom said the sacred words.
"What's the difference between a Promise and a Pinkie Promise?" Diamond asked confused.
"Well if ya break a Pinkie Promise, its the fastest way ta lose a friend f---"
"FOOOOOOOOOOOREVER!!!" Pinkie Pie said, popping out of a random drawer of Miss Cherilee's desk, and then slowly descending back into it.
"What the..." Diamond asked, rubbing her eyes, thinking she was going insane.
"That's Pinkie Pie fer ya. Always popping up outta nowhere if ya tell someone what happens when ya break a pinkie promise, ta this day I don't think anypony has ever said the full phrase before Pinkie finished it fer em." Apple Bloom said in a cheerful tone.
"Uh, interesting..." Diamond said, still wondering if she was hallucinating.
"Diamond are ya alright?" Apple Bloom asked, worried.
"Yeah... I'm fine." Diamond halfheartedly replied.
"Yeah...... no." Apple Bloom said back, knowing clearly something was wrong with the pink filly.
"It's just daddy doesn't know about my cutie mark being fake either." Diamond said.
"R-r-really?" Apple bloom asked.
"Yeah. I'm afraid of what would happen if he figured out." Diamond replied.
"Its alright, he will never find out. I Pinkie Promised, If I break it I probably deserve ta get bullied by ya." Apple Bloom said.
"I don't think anything you do gives me an excuse to treat you the way I have." Diamond said, surprised by the farm filly's words.
"Well Diamond I have ta be gettin back ta the farm." Apple Bloom said.
"Oh. Okay." Diamond replied.
"Cya later Diamond?" Apple bloom questioned.
"No, not today at least. Tomorrow is good though." Diamond replied.
"Ah okay. Well later Diamond." Apple Bloom said, leaving the classroom.
"Bye.... Apple...Bloom" Diamond said, tearing up.
Unbeknownst to the two a certain gray maned filly had been behind the door listening to the whole thing.
"Diamond a blank flank? I always knew something wasn't right about her. Oh well this will make great news for everyone to hear. I can't wait to expose her for who she is. All this time she acted like the leader, and made friends with me because she was supposedly like me, well now Diamond, you can start crying again, cause your going to be alone again, and nopony is going to be there to pick you up when you fall down." Silver Spoon said quietly, laughing to herself.
"Huh, what was that?" a familiar southern accented voice said.
"Crap. Gotta get out here." Silver Spoon said to herself, sneaking away to a safe spot where she wouldn't be noticed by the farm filly.
"I guess it was nothing, oh well gotta go. Don't wanna be late.... again." Apple Bloom said, far enough away to where it just barely registered in Silver Spoon's ears.
Silver spoon waited for the sound of hoofs hitting the floor stop, and when it finally did she snuck out of the school.
"Diamond Tiara.... no different than any diamond. Cold, Beautiful, and nothing but a fraud." Silver Spoon said.
"Well little miss wannabee princess, your time as the most popular filly in ponyville has come to an end, in fact after this you will be hated by everyone, and your so hated by those three blank flanks they will never accept your apology, well maybe Apple Bloom, but she is so naive. Her friends will realize this and leave her." Silver Spoon said, laughing out loud.
"Somethin' funny?"
Silver Spoon froze and nearly fainted when she heard the voice.
"Ah said, Is.... somethin'.... funny?"
Silver Spoon turned around and like she predicted, a certain filly was standing behind her.
"Yeah, I still find it hilarious about your old wrinkly granny." Silver Spoon said.
"DON'T TALK ABOUT MAH GRANNY! SHE IS A GREAT GRANNY. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW HARD THIS IS ON ME AND MAH FAMILY!" Apple Bloom exploded.
"Someone's mad." Silver Spoon said.
"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE! YOU NO GOOD....." Apple Bloom broke down in tears before she could finish, crying loudly.
"Typical, crying like a little foal, and what if i don't.... BLANK FLANK?!?" Silver Spoon said evilly.
"I....I.....I don't know." Apple Bloom weakly replied.
"You're pathetic. I don't know how someone like you ever made friends. You know it probably would have been better if you were never b-" Silver Spoon got cut off by something hitting her.
"LEAVE HER ALONE!"
The Voice belonged to only one person.
"Diamond?"
Diamond Tiara smacked Silver Spoon directly in the face, knocking her glasses completely off.
"Yeah. It's me." Diamond said coldly.
"Well well well... what do you know, the little princess is a goody four hooves." Silver said, laughing.
"Apple Bloom, leave. Go home, I don't want you hurt anymore than you've been hurt." Diamond said.
"Ok..." Apple Bloom replied, getting up and running off into the distance.
"What was all of that Silver Spoon? I may have been a bully to them, but I never went that far. You completely crossed the line. I wish now I'd never used that marker to...." she was cut off by Silver Spoon.
"Used it to make your fake cutie mark, Blank Flank?" Silver Spoon finished for Diamond Tiara, a mischievous look on her face.
Diamond Tiara was shocked. She had put on a towel she found in the school to cover herself up.
"But... I'm not a Blank Flank!" Diamond said, higher pitched than usual.
"Oh really, lets find out." Silver replied.
Diamond Tiara tried to run but was tackled by Silver Spoon.
"Now, lets see." Silver said.
"Please, no." Diamond said, tears forming in her eyes.
Silver pulled the towel off of Tiara anyway revealing Diamond's flank, which was indeed blank.
Diamond now sobbing said, "But how did you know... I never told you...."
"I heard your conversation with Apple Bloom." Silver Spoon said.
"You eavesdropped?" Diamond asked, shocked.
"Yes I did, and now I'm going to reveal your secret to the world." Silver Spoon said, laughing.
"Please don't...." Diamond said, now crying completely.
"WHY NOT?" Silver Spoon yelled.
"Because my daddy doesn't know either...." Diamond weakly replied.
"Oh." Silver Spoon said, in a fake concerned voice.
"Pinkie Promise you won't tell anypony Silver... please..." Diamond pleaded.
Silver Spoon decided she would toy with Diamond Tiara and lied.
"Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." Silver Spoon finished, the biggest fake grin ever on her face.
"Thank you Silver Spoon." Diamond said.
Diamond then hugged Silver Spoon, who despite knowing she lied decided to let Diamond hug her to further increase the pain that would be coming.
"Your Welcome Diamond." Silver lied.
"Well I gotta get home and use that marker before Daddy gets home from work." Diamond said, trotting off.
"Yeah, you do that. It isn't gonna matter once I expose you." Silver Spoon said, laughing to herself.
