CHAPTER 27
Changelings
The Queen screamed, and started to bend into a ball, and the ball started to glow right as the power of the Elements were charging up. She disappeared in that instant that the Elements were almost charged. Shining Armor, and Cadence both unfrozen from where they stood both started fade, while saying “We need to return to Canterlot at once.” They both disappeared, and Twilight looked over to her group of friends. “Well where do we go now?” Twilight said. They all started to leave the main hall, and noticed the main gate was locked. There was no way to the other side, so they all decided to go through the caves to see what they would find. They all started to go throughout the cave system, and for protection Twilight kept a bubble protection shield around them. It was draining her energy fast, but she knew that she didn’t want her friends taken away from her again. “I can’t keep this up forever, I think we should stop for now, and get some rest. I almost forgot to ask where are Raindrops and Derpy?” Twilight said with some worry in her voice. Rainbow Dash and the others all responded with a shrug. They didn’t know where they were either they were trapped in the caves, or out on their own. “I remember before my wing broke that they were there, but became changelings the other second.”
Raindrops looked down at the terrain below them “Do you see them Derpy, I can’t see anything in this fog. I think we should land, and try our search tomorrow.” Derpy looked over to Raindrops, and said “We have to find them we can’t even find the others where could they be?” Raindrops started to dive down, and said “We have to rest it’s been hours.” Derpy followed, and started to say “But we need to….” A changeling charged in front of Derpy, and crashed straight into Raindrops. She started to fall rapidly. Derpy looked to her right, and saw another charging for her. These were like missiles fast, and deadly. Derpy started to dive down as fast as she could trying to catch her friend. She almost hit the ground when quickly Derpy caught her a few feet off the ground. “Don’t worry Raindrops I never let my friends fall without me catching them.” Derpy said with a big smile on her face while carrying Raindrops. She started to wake up from being knocked out by the changeling, and said “What happened? Are you okay?” Raindrops stood up from where her body laid down. She looked around, and found a muffin with a letter on it.
“Went to find firewood be back when I can. You rest up you will need it for tomorrow.”
Derpy came back with some small amount of firewood, and started a fire.
A changeling moved through the caves following a path that he knew only to another exit. He started to hear voices, so he changed his form to be a not so well known pony named TrioFeet. This was a pony down in the depths of the caves themselves. TrioFeet moved fast trying to gain attention to himself by creating noise behind these ponies. He finally reached them, and said “Can I join you I have nowhere else to go I need friends, can you help me.” The six looked at each other, and said “Sure, but what is your name?” The changeling looked at them, and said “My name is TrioFeet.”
