CHAPTER 22
The Others
Rainbow Dash shot up into the sky shouting “It’s a trap!!” The others got up from where they sat, and prepared themselves for anything. Five changelings came out of the forest next to their camp, and started to approach slowly. Twilight quickly remembered her brother teaching her how to create that magical shield, but it required a lot of energy and time. She started the think about the spell maybe if she devoted less energy it would create a smaller sphere, maybe just around her and her friends. She tried the spell, and it started to work. the bubble drew around her and her friends, but the bubble started to grow the more she thought of her success. The bubble grew at an accelerating rate, it doubled it’s sizes every five seconds creating what seemed to look like an explosion. The changelings watched the bubble grow, and started to run away. This light grew and grew until it burst from an unknown magic. The changelings were nowhere to be seen. It seems as if the magic had just thrown them out of sight. The sky was glowing pink, there was another flash that blinded all of them, they all woke up noticing they had passed out. “Where is Rainbow Dash we haven’t seen her since those two darted off.” Applejack said. Twilight turned to look out into the distance to only see that Rainbow Dash was nowhere to be found.
“Where am i?” Rainbow Dash said as she picked herself up from the ground. She just noticed her wing had been broken. “How did this happen, how did i get here.” She looked up to see she had passed out while flying, and crash landed down the cliff side. Rainbow Dash tried to start flying, but it was no use for her wing was broken. She decided that after such a tumble that she should probably take rest, and wait until she could fly again.
“Who is that? Is that Rainbow Dash?” Pinkie Pie said with excitement. She hopped her way over to Rainbow Dash, and noticed that she wasn’t with the others, and also had a broken wing. “Rainbow Dash wake up. Where are the others?” Pinkie Pie said while shaking Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash got up, and hugged Pinkie Pie immediately. “Where have you guys been i thought that by now you guys would have met us up there.” Rainbow Dash Pointed her hoof up to the top of the cliff. “That's where they are, but there was a big flash of light that had stunned me, and i crash landed down here.” Rainbow Dash said while looking at the ground. “Fluttershy you should go tell them that we are down here, and that I’m too injured to lift all of you up.” Fluttershy flew up the cliff. She came back down, and said “There is only an empty camp i don’t know where they are.”
“Was that Fluttershy that i just saw?” Twilight said to Applejack. They both walked over to the cliff, and saw a group of ponies down at the bottom, and shouted “HELLO!?!?!” The six looked up, and one started to fly up. “Rainbow Dash’s wing is broken, I’m sorry she can’t lift all of them up here.” Fluttershy said
