Symbolism
Pinkie Pie cheered with joy as she awoke her friends. Raindrops stood up from her bed, and said “We’ve been looking for you guys, where have you been?” Fluttershy came around Pinkie for she was too happy to respond, and said “Where is Twilight, and the others?” “They are over in that direction.” Derpy pointed her hoof behind herself. They all headed outside, it was raining they all looked in the direction in which Derpy had pointed. They had arrived outside at a perfect timing the clouds were being destroyed by something they hadn’t seen for a while, but it was something very significant.
A great event was approaching it’s time. “We need to prepare, our scouts report some many thousands of corrupted ponies approaching our position.” Cadence hushed Shining Armor as she walked toward him, she gave him a hug, and then said “You must do what you must do, you will always defend Canterlot i don’t believe anything, or anypony will breach the walls in which you guard, and conjure.” She let him go, and smiled as she looked him in the eye “I don’t believe that anyone will achieve victory, but you for you are the best guard i’ve ever known.” She had pride, and courage in her voice as she said. Shining Armor turned from her, and said “But you see we’ve got to have some additional help do you know of any sort of thing to help defeat this great army with?” She shook her head, then walked off after saying “I’m going to go get some rest I’ll see you in the morning.” Shining Armor left the room, and started to walk away from the doors while taking a deep breath. He looked up into the sky, and prayed to the sun saying “Please let there be a way, I don’t want this city to fall, not under my protection. Not with Cadence here I want this battle to be mine, not my enemy’s. Just let this happen I love her too much to let her fall into a dark fate.” He continued his walk along his posts of men.
“What is your amazing idea Rainbow Dash?” Twilight asked. Rainbow Dash simply pointed to her cutie mark, and then said “Why not send them a message.” Twilight looked baffled she didn’t know what sort of message she could send without knowing their location. “What sort of message you don’t even know where they are they could even be in front of us. Rainbow Dash shrugged, and shot up into the sky. She already had such immense speed to break the sound barrier, which was what her intention was. In an instant a loud crack came from where Rainbow dash was with a big rainbow cloud spreading like an explosion across the sky. Rainbow Dash continued into the sky with a thick rainbow trail following her. She did spirals in the air quickly Twilight knew what this accomplished. She was marking the area for her friends to see where they were. When Rainbow Dash landed Twilight said with a big smile on her face “Well i can’t believe we didn’t do that from the start how could we have forgotten your great Sonic Rainboom.” Rainbow Dash smiled, and said “We should stay here just the let them come back, or catch up.
