A Chaotic Night

Chapter 3

Celestia walked down the castle in eerie silence. Shadows wisped past her, and she thought she heard them talk. It did make her curious, so of course she followed them. The shadows were moving, yet no one was around. Except, Celestia of course.

Then they went out into the Canterlot gardens. That’s where she stopped. And she spied. Celestia quietly watched as the shadows formed into their true forms. And it was Luna. With Discord.

Oh, Discord. Lord of chaos. Dating HER sister! Celestia didn’t move. She was still curious. And mad. Oh, so VERY mad.

They sat on a hammock. Snow moons fell from the sky, and then chocolate milk poured on them. She saw Luna smile. And then kiss Discord. KISS Discord.

After a few nights of spying on both of them, it got more serious. The second night the two rode in a chariot over Canterlot, and pink clouds were EVERYWHERE. Raining chocolate all over the ponies below. The third night pink hills were also everywhere, and they cuddled on a red and black throne. The forth night It was WAY too chaotic, dancing buffaloes circling around the two. Then, they kissed each other. And all it was doing was RUINING Celestia’s time. It was definitely time to call Twilight and her friends to turn Discord BACK to stone. Nevermind about him being reformed. That was LONG ago anyways.
Long ago.

Twilight ran around Ponyville to make sure she would complete Princess Celestia’s task. First she went to the closest home that belonged to one of her friends, then knocked on the door. Mrs. Cake opened the door. “Oh, hello Twilight! I mean, Princess Twilight!” she said kindly.
“Oh! You don’t have to call me that! So, where’s Pinkie?” Twilight said.
Mrs. Cake pointed upstairs. Twilight smiled and nodded a thanks, and trotted up stairs. She arrived in Pinkie’s room, and yep. There was the party pony!

“Twilight!!!” Pinkie yelled, bouncing over.
“Hi Pinkie!” Twilight said back.

Pinkie gave her a giant hug, squeezing the breath out her. Then she set her down. “Where’ve you been?” Pinkie asked.
Twilight gasped for breath. “Well, I actually need you and the rest of our friends to turn Discord back to stone.”
Pinkie was confused. “Why? Didn’t Fluttershy reform him?”
Twilight nodded. “But the princess said he had some, ‘things’ happen with Luna.”

“Oh, now THAT makes more sense!”

So, Twilight told all the others and made sure she saved the hardest for last: Fluttershy.
They argued about the part in turning him to stone. Fluttershy said he did NOTHING wrong, and Twilight tried to tell her the flaws about it. FINALLY Rainbow Dash stepped in and said about chaotic little alicorns all over the place. With Rarity saying that it was a silly thing to argue about. And Applejack said if we don’t stop him soon, LUNA might become chaotic. Pinkie stayed out of it though.

And then, Fluttershy agreed. So they went on the train to Canterlot with their elements ready.
*********************************************
Fluttershy looked out the window of the train to Canterlot. And she was thinking of Discord. Discord REALLY didn’t do anything wrong! All he did was fall in love, nothing more. This HAD to be TOO harsh!

If anything nothing goes wrong with relationships. The one just, probably got confused! Or, something else? Fluttershy sighed. Rainbow Dash, who was sitting next to her, looked at her in confusion. “What?” she said.

Fluttershy started crying. “Woah, girl, there’s got to be NOTHING wrong with turning Discord back to stone, ‘kay? You can still visit him and talk to him, he can hear you.” Rainbow Dash explained.

Fluttershy sniffled. “I know, I just, I can’t—“ then she started to cry.
After that, they just continued their ride. And to Rainbow, it felt very, very long.

At Canterlot they got off the train and ran to the castle. Arriving to Celestia’s room, they ran to where the princess was sitting and said that they were ready. “Good,” she said. “But they only meet at night, so get some rest.”
The six ponies found some places to sleep and waited for the night. Every time when all of them went to sleep, they all just waked up. Long sleep they had.

So, they slept for two hours, according to Twilight’s eye. When they woke up for the last time, the moon was up and Princess Celestia standing over them. “It’s time,” she said.

All of them sneaked through the hallways in the castle, finding their way by the sounds of shadows and wind blowing past them. They had twists, turns, and a couple of times all of them got lost. But finally, they reached the gardens. It took like three hours, but they reached the gardens. All of them were very tired by then. Well, you might have guessed that. But anyways, they reached the garden and started to spy, elements ready to fight Discord.

Everything that the ponies had experienced before in chaos world two years ago, was happening right now. Except the moon wasn’t moving up and down. With every pony out right now was staring in disbelief. Now THIS was a problem alright. The happy couple was seated on a throne, gently cuddling with each other.

They were ready. All SO very, VERY ready. Twilight went out there and shouted, “HEY? What are you doing?!”
Luna and Discord looked at them in shock. Discord snapped his fingers and a giant rock came flying towards them. Thankfully, Twilight was quick. She used her magic and the boulder crumbled to pieces. Luna got off the throne shakily. “W- What are you doing with the elements of harmony?” she asked. Celestia ran over and hugged her sister, bringing her down the hill. As the older sister talked quietly to the younger one, tears poured down Luna’s face.

“ No,” Luna said. “NO!”

Seeing this, Twilight started working the spell for the elements. Luna and Discord ran after each other. And in every bad luck book, of course the happiest one turns to the saddest. Which in this case, means, once Luna got there, Discord was lying on the ground as a big statue.

She stared wide-eyed at her only love with tears flowing down her cheeks and dropping on to the ground. The princess ran away crying. The last that they saw from Luna was a bright glow of light blue, and then she was gone.
