              								      CHAPTER 13
A New Time

Twilight approached the fallen shard of King Sombra’s horn, and picked it up. Once she picked it up its colors changed to a rainbow horn. King Sombra’s horn happened to be not his own. He had lost his during the fight for the crystal empire this was some sort of weird new magic. “Well i guess this is what he expected to harvest the Elements of Harmony with. It doesn’t seem to be any sort of normal magic, Rarity come feel the power radiating from this object.” Rarity shook her head, and said “I don’t know what this ‘thing’ is so I’m not going near it, and i can feel it from here.” Spike walked up to the horn, and picked it up. “I don’t see what you guys are talking about, i mean this looks delicious.” Spike said as he licked his lips. Twilight used her magic to pull the horn out of Spike’s hands, and put it in her bag. Pinkie looked at Twilight, and said “Let’s PARTEH!!!” Twilight looked back, and shook her head with a smile, then said “sorry Pinkie we can’t we still have a long ways to go.” Applejack and Rarity looked at each other then to Twilight then Rarity said “and where is this we are going?” Twilight paced back and forth thinking of an answer, but she couldn’t think of anything so she said “I don’t know but if Princess Celestia sent us out here to do something don’t you think she would come to us when we were finished?” They all agreed that it was important to move on to find new things.

“When do you think this ‘message’ of your’s is going to be there?” said Princess Celestia. Shining Armor took a look around the room then nodded yes for he knew that his message was already on its way to them. “I don’t really know, but i have someone on their way now.” said Shining Armor.

Derpy was flying across the skies when she took a quick rest upon a mountain. She turned around to find she was being followed. Derpy quickly dove straight into her follower for a hug. Raindrops got up from the hug/tackle. “You know i wouldn’t let my best friend go alone.” Raindrops said as she smiled, and hugged Derpy tightly.

“Spike could you stop staring at the shard it’s not like you to become obsessive about only one object.” Twilight said as she put King Sombra’s horn into her bag again. Spike looked up at her while saying “I just find it to be very interesting, it seems to have some sort of powerful aura that reaches into my soul. It feels like it’s calling to me, can i see it again?” Twilight shook her head with a smile then walked off. Spike frowned looked at the ground then continued walking. Pinkie came up alongside of him, and then said “why so sad Spike, are you ok. Does our favorite dragon need a emerald cupcake?” Pinkie Pie quickly grabbed an emerald cupcake out of nowhere then handed it to Spike. He slowly grabbed it from Pinkie then said “Thank you Pinkie where did you get this from?” Pinkie looked at him in a strange face then said “I’m Pinkie don’t you know i can do what i want when i can.”
