Charming felt a bit better. Just then Clyde walked up to him.
"You are gonna be nice to my niece, are you not?" Clyde asked.
"I wil behave. I promise." Charming said nervously. Pinkie snorted.
"Pinkieeeee...." Pinkies cousin, Delicious said red in the face.
"Sorry Delish! But everypony knows his talent." Pinkie looked at the key hole cutie mark on Charmings flank. "HAHAHA and nopony is fooled by his 'ima locksmith' story"Charming sighed heavily. Cheese cake offered dinner to everypony.
As everypony sat for dinner, Delicious was starting to go a bit gray in her coat. She was in serious thought. If Charming was too intimidated to talk to her family, and her family was too intimidated by him being Celestia and Lunas younger nephew. How is Delicious gonna get this to work.
When Delicious met Charming she didnt even know he was a prince. He walked into her kitchen and she threw a rolling pin at him. He addressed himself as Peeping Tom not Prince Charming. Then Ramsey freaked out Cause Delicious had just hit a prince of Equestria. Delicious didnt care either. She just wanted him out of the kitchen, where nopony (or body in Ramseys case). Delicious was thinking so hard, she hadnt even heard Blinkie whispering to her.
"DELISH!" Blinkie shouted. Her dark gray mane in front of her left eye. She blushed due to having to be so loud. "How did you two meet?" Delicious knew of Blinkies love of romance. Inkie Listened in curious. her purple hued body leaned towards the to ponies talking to each other as Delicious explained how she met Charming. In fact the family was listening. Delicious noticed and jumped on the table and explained the whole story to her family.
The families faces went from curious to perplexed then worried.
"You mean you actually hit him?" Sue asked.
"With a rolling pin." Delicious said.
"Would you've if you knew he was a prince?" Inkie asked.
"She threw a pot at my aunt Luna. I'm sure pain was inevitable." Charming said resting his head on a hoof. Delicious glared at Charming, then started laughing. Pinkie next, then Charming. Soon the whole family was laughing.
The gray that had developed in Delicious' coat soon dissapeared. She was smiling and having good time. She was hoping her family was as well. Pinkie tends to enjoy any party. Delicious went to the phonograph and set a record on it. Soon the room filled with a pleasant beat. Pinkie and Delicious started dancing together. Sue and Clyde sawded with each other. Inkie and Blinkie jumped around. Delicious' parents hummed to the beat. The words started to play. Pinkie and Delicious made an instant singing competion.
After the first song Charming asked to dance with Delicious. Delicious was glad everypony was finally enjoying themselves. All that was needed was a little ice-breakage. Everypony went home after some good-byes. Just before Delicious and Charming headed out, Cloud pulled Charming aside.
"I dont care if you're a prince. Dont hurt my little angel pie."
"Don't worry, sir. I'm more afraid she'll hurt me." Charming gave a nervous chuckle.
"Atta boy!" Cloud patted Charming shoulder. Cloud took off for the skies. Cheese Cake used a teleport spell after waving off from a distance.
"So?..." Delicious questioned.
"Just telling me to watch out." Charming said
"Ah. haha ok. You should." Pie glared. then broke into an enormous smile. "Kidding!"
Charming is a pony like everypony else. Just cause he is related to Celestia and Luna doesn't make him diffrent. Right?
