Please read this. That is, only if you, um, want to. Um, today I went to the spa with Rarity. She mentioned some stallion named Fancypants. She said that he might have the odds for her.
"Remember when I went to Cantorlot and became popular? And I pretended that Opalescence was sick? And that I wasn't from Ponyville?" Rarity asked me randomly. I nodded slowly. I was so worried about Opal when Rarity said that she was sick, stating that she looked awful. I fell for Rarity's little lie. If only I had known that she had washed and scrubbed Opalescence. Maybe I would have confronted her. . .
"Well, remember that unicorn that wanted to talk to you all closer to the end? I think he might have it in for me." Rarity sighed. "I thought that Fleur De Lis was his fillyfriend. And I was right. But then Fleur got pregnant and Fancypants found out he wasn't the father. So Fancypants left her, and she obviously protested to keep him, which she, by the way, didn't succeed in, and a rumor started that he might love me!" Rarity squealed. "But me? Of all unicorns he loves moi? I think that he and Twilight would have been a cuter couple." When Rarity said that, I nodded.
"Oh, uh, that's kind of weird Rarity. Maybe he does love Twilight?" I suggested. Rarity raised an eyebrow.
"You really think so?" She asked, slowly grinning. I refused to make eye contact. Of course I did! "Ha! You do! He's coming to Ponyville soon too! To replace Fluer. . ." Rarity gasped. "Maybe he'll choose her!" I brightened at the thought. If only . . .
"Well, maybe. . . I'm not sure . . ." Fancypants was quite a catch. But he might be too difficult. Besides. . . didn't Twilight like Applejack's cousin?
"Oh, darling, but of course he must! She's quite a catch! And no, she does not have a crush on Braeburn!" Rarity argued.
"Yeah, I guess - wait, h-how did you know that's what I was thinking?" I asked timidly. Rarity grinned.
"Well, that's what a great friend knows, right?"
"Sure, why not."
"Oh, don't be so hard on yourself, darling!" Rarity pouted, sticking out her lip. I didn't think she forgot about "New" Fluttershy, and how hard I was on myself. Grinning broadly, Rarity took my hooves and said. "What if they became coltfriend and fillyfriend? Wouldn't that be fuuuuun?" She twirled excitedly. I sighed.

"Now eat more of the carrot!" I said softly. Squirrel shook his head. "I. Said. Eat. It." I stared hard at him. He grabbed the carrot and shoved it into his mouth. "Always works." Being more assertive really helped me. But I still had a question lingering in my head. Would Fancypants ever love Twilight?
"Hi Flutterheart."
"Oh! Hi Treyngl!" I pecked him on the cheek. He gave me a look that said That's it? "Ok!" He pulled me into a passionate kiss. I loved him too much to worry about Twilight. That could wait for later.
