CHAPTER 10
The Key
The next morning they all woke up ate some breakfast, and got back on the road. They followed along a black crystal cliffside these part never really received sunlight. “Jeez this place could really use some sunlight, Rainbow Dash you mind clearing some of those clouds up there? Your cutie mark basically says you should.” said Applejack. Rainbow Dash shot up into the sky trying to clear up any clouds she could, but the clouds would only reveal one spot. Rainbow Dash ended up chasing one cloud around in a circle with it changed the sun’s shine from the sky. Pinkie pie shouted “DISCO PARTY!!” she quickly pulled out a dj station out of nowhere, and started to play music. “Pinkie where did you get that i said to pack lightly!” said Twilight. Pinkie Pie shut off the music put away the DJ station which just disappeared. “I’m Pinkie Pie i can do what i want, and get what i want here want some cake?” said Pinkie as she pulled a cake from behind her back. Everyone stopped even Rainbow Dash from above, and enjoyed Pinkie’s little snack.
“We must hit them at night for that is the only time they won’t expect us!” said King Sombra. King Sombra pointed at three of his men, and said “you three must go and meet them in the crystal valley at once for these six must not be able to use what power i’ve been hearing of. These Elements of Harmony, i don’t know what kind of horrible power these things hold. We must take them from those hopeless ponies!” The three left as soon as possible.
“Hey look there's a cave we can stay in there for the night.” said Fluttershy. All of them entered the cave put down their equipment, and went to sleep.
The three guards came upon the cave in which the three were sleeping. They slowly crept in, and got prepared to bind they hooves and cap their horns. They were following their specific orders from King Sombra. strapping their wings down. Quickly Rainbow Dash got up swept the guards off their feet and went to help her friends. The three guards got back on to their feet, and continued to assault the six. Twilight picked up the key, and shouted “If we are going to spend the rest of our lives under King Sombra’s service as slave then we might as well know what this thing does!” She grabbed the key out of her bag, and thought of the first day she met her friends then shot that straight into the key. It dropped out of her hands, and on to the floor. It shined bright throughout the cave, and the moment the light of it’s brilliance was out the three guards shook their heads as if they were getting rid of some sort of headache. They all began to speak one said “where am i?” the other said “what is going on?”, and the last said “where is my family?” Twilight smiled, and knew exactly what she was up against. “You three were cursed by the Queen of the changelings her power has taken over your minds. I’m glad to have gotten you out of that.” Twilight said as she smiled. Twilight as she had activated the key thought this and only this “this is in the shape of a horn it must hold some sort of magic, lets see what it can do.”
