CHAPTER 5
A Rolling Darkness
“Well that was a weird encounter with the princess, how is everypony feeling about our past problems” said Twilight. Applejack nodded and smiled for she was happy and ready to move on. Rainbow Dash flew up into the dark night sky doing many flips and tricks then said “when do we start” said Applejack. Fluttershy was of course ready, and Rarity simply smiled. Pinkie Pie jumped and jumped for she “really really really really” wanted to go.
They continued on until they came up to a strange materialized pole with a rectangle posted on top. It read “Interstate 5” for more description of the surroundings there was a long road with two yellow lines going down the middle of the road itself. Tree lining the road as far as you can see and the fog was dense could barely see 15 feet in front of you, but the moon still illuminating the night sky as a hope for the six.
As they continued a feeling of loneliness took over for all six had nothing much to talk about. They had almost no privacy, and no directions of where they were going besides the road itself. A pair of two yellow eyes had approached at a high speed. The girls took cover inside the forest next to the road as a weird creature going at amazing speeds zoomed past them. “It looked as if it had a pony inside, did any you get a good look at what was inside” said Applejack.
Sadly enough none of them knew, so their journey continued the sun was rising. More of those horrific creatures passed by, they were in different shapes, sizes, and even colors. They had built camp for it was time to sleep and eat. The sun had rose from the far hills of where they knew was Ponyville.
“I barely got to speak to any of them i will try to return there, and have enough time to explain things to Twilight. She doesn’t know what lies ahead.” Princess Celestia stared down at the sundial that had been install into her main court. In a quick flash the Princess disappeared with the small cloud of yellow dust following with the last words she had said.
Light rose from over the trees brighter than any normal morning. “Girls i have reason to believe that the Princess is nearby” said Twilight. No one had listen for everypony was too tired from the time they had spent walking there on their own. “I Carry grave new no questions for this news will shock you" said Princess Celestia.
