This is my first FIMFiction so bear with me.
"Almost there..."
Twilight Sparkle was adding the last ingredient to a special potion she was making. According to her research, the potion was supposed to increase the strength of the next spell used by the drinker. The last ingredient was a special concoction of multiple foods and magical items.
Twilight had almost used the last ingredient when she heard a faint noise. It sounded like a scream.
She looked out the window to see something speeding towards her.
"What the-"
*CRASH*
The window shattered as Rainbow Dash fell with a thud.
"Rainbow! You interrupted my experiment, not to mention DESTROYED MY WINDOW!" said Twilight.
"Heh, sorry Twi. I got a little bit careless with the flying today."
Spike ran downstairs. "Is everything okay? I heard a loud crash. Wait- Rainbow?"
"Everything's okay," said Twilight. "Rainbow had a...flying accident."
"Nice one Rainbow Crash." said Spike
"What did you call me?"
"Nothing!" said spike as he dashed upstairs. Rainbow chased after him.
Twilight sighed. "I sure hope I can get this experiment finished today." She walked over to what she had so far of her potion.
"If this works, I may just be able to make its effects permanent!" she said.
She took the vial containing the final ingrediient mixture and opened it.
"Geesh, this smells horrible. I hope it tastes better than it smells."
While a lot of ruckus was going on upstairs, Twilight ignored it and began pouring in the mixture. That's when she noticed it.
She didn't know why she didn't notice it before, or why it didn't hurt. A large piece of broken glass was lodged into her leg.
"Oh Celestia! I need to fix-" was all she could say, for she did not notice she had accidently poured the entire vial into the potion. The chemical reaction caused a major explosion. Twilight was thrown against the bookshelf, unconscious.
