Spike awoke to find himself in front of Zecora's hut.
"(Twilight...is this what you think is best for me? Sorry Twilight, but like I said, nopony is gonna get in my way!)" He thought "(Just because your in love with your teacher, doesn't mean I'll follow your example!)"
Before Spike started running, he decided, why not give himself a head start, so he entered the hut & tied-up all of Zecora's legs with his blanket while the Zebra was sleeping! He then made a quick exit & dashed down the road! Zecora later woke-up & found herself tied down!
"This must be the work of Spike.
Wow, this has been tied up tight!"
Meanwhile...
Spike was running as fast as he could, he couldn't really run so far since he didn't eat breakfast yet, but was still running far! He heard talking from a distance, speaking of the word "Capture" & his name, so he ducked into a bush & 4 fillies passed by him. They were the CMC who decided to help with Zecora's bet! After they were out of his earshot, he ran as fast as he could, making it to Fluttershy's cottage!
*knock!* *knock!*
Meanwhile...
"Hey Zecora, we..."She was cut-off by the sight of a tied-up Zecora!
"Woah, what happened to you?" Asked Babs Seed.
"Spike was the one who tied me in this position.
Trying to stop me from fulfilling my mission."
Scootaloo & Sweetie Belle then untie Zecora.
"Well, whatever it takes, it's too soon for him to figure out about Rarity & Fancy Pants, we gotta save him!" said Scootaloo.
Meanwhile...
Spike left Fluttershy's cottage after thanking her for breakfast, she didn't even bother to ask why Spike was at her home so early, she just enjoyed helping her friends & Spike's company. Spikee had made it back to Ponyville & he was ready to tell Rarity how much he loved her, that's when something flew past him & landed a few feet away from him! The baby dragon went over to pick-up the mysterious item, it was a knockout dart, and it's needle was sharp enough to pierce through Spike's thick scales! He then turned around & saw Sweetie Belle's mane sticking out of a bush.
"Nice try girls, but you gotta work on hiding & aiming!" Then he fired a tiny fire ball at the bush, causeing it to set-on fire, & the CMC ran out, screaming like the little girls they are! Spike finally made it to his home, the Golden Oaks Library to tell off twilight, but instead he would do that later & get his supplies! Upon entering, Zecora was talking with twilight in the Kitchen. Spike sneaked past, so Zecora wouldn't see him. He made it to his & Twilight's room and grabbed his bag of tricks! He then tied a bunch of bed sheets together then escaped through the bedroom window! Spike then pulled out a skateboard & continued on to the Carousel Boutique! Spike thought that nothing would stop him, but that's when his skateboard was hit with a karate chop from Applebloom who was hiding, waiting for the right moment! The board broke in 2 & now Spike was forced to run! Spike was stopped in his tracks when Sweetie Belle & Babs Seed threw some Iron Caltrops or Makibishi Spikes if you'd prefer!
"What the heck girls, are you helping Zecora to get Ninja Cutiemarks or something?"
Spike was surrounded, but he knew there weaknesses.
'Hey look, Rainbow Dash!" Spike called out
"Really? Where?" Scootaloo asked. She looked to her left & saw Rainbow Dash flying by. Scootaloo then followed after. With that opportunity, Spike escaped the CMC and ran towards Sugarcube Corner. Spike charged through the double doors and towards the counter!
"Pinkie, it would bring a big smile, bigger than anypony's smile, to my face if you'd please hide me!" Spike pleaded.
"Sure, but from who?" Asked the pink mare with a stupid look on her face!
"I need you to hide me from the CMC, Zecora, and possibly Twilight."
"Okay, hide in my bedroom closet, and bring Gummy with you incase you need company!"
With that, Spike ran up the stairs to Pinkie's room. Zecora walked in.
"Good morning Pinkie Pie,
Have you seen the dragon of small size?" She asked
"Yeah, I told him to hide in my bedroom closet. (Sorry Spike, but it's not yet time for you to know of Rarity's relationship with Fancy Pants!)"
"Thank you for helping with this dare,
one day, I'll be sure to make you my best mare!"
"Thanks, go get him!"
"(Dang it Pinks!)" Spike exited the closet & decided to exit through Pinkie's window this time, with the same method he used to exit The library, as he was shimmying down the tied up bed sheets, he felt a tug, he looked up & Zecora was pulling him towards her. Spike thought quick he pulled out a rubber raft from his bag of tricks & let go of the sheets!
"Why are you trying to run?
If you give-up, I'll let you grab my buns!"
Spike shivered from the thought, then continued on his trek to the Boutique, minutes later, Mare 2 Well (The 2nd Mare do Well), appeared out of nowhere! She then smacked Spike a few times until using a binding spell to bind him to a tree!
"Even the superheroes are trying to stop me? Man, this would make a great story to tell my kids & grandkids one day!"
Spike then shook a-lot, because within his bag of tricks, was a stone that when shook, can negate any spell and he managed break loose & run, Mare 2 Well, jumped in front, but Spike pulled out a bag of marbles & she slipped over.
"Sorry, but there's no way anypony is gonna stop me from confessing my true feelings to Rarity!"
As he was running again, Zecora was running right beside him, Spike pulled out a can of oil slick & dumped it in front of her, but that was a big mistake because Zecora slid right past Spike, & then stopped on a dime, she then began to charge, but then the boy pulled out a pair of spring boots! Spike waited for the right moment then bounced over the Zebra! Spike then continued on hopping over to Rarity's home, but then Twilight magically levitated him towards Zecora, but as I mentioned earlier, negated the spell by shaking the stone in his bag of tricks!
"Activate!" Spike cried out, then his bag became a jetpack! which rocketed him to the Boutique, but Rainbow Dash with Scootaloo on her back was giving chase & was catching-up! Spike pulled out some tickets to the wonderbolts show that he bought the other day incase he had to deal with this sort of situation!
"Woah, tickets to the Wonderbolts, I wonder who I should bring?"
"Ooh, me, I'd like to go!" Scootaloo answered
"It was rhetorical, of course I'm taking you!" then they flew away to Cloudsdale!
"(Morons!)" Spike thought.
Spike was very close, he was 3 feet away from the front door, but then his legs were caught by a bola! He then tripped over, when he looked up & saw Zecora standing in front of him!
"I've won yes I had,
but it's not so bad!" she said, while petting Spike's spines.
"I lost!"
"Don't feel bad Spike, I know a few ponies who've fallen in love with their teacher, like for example, the Living Tombstone, he even wrote a song about wanting Ms.Cheerilee to love him!" Twilight said, in a relieved mood that it's finally all over. "(He's living the dream many others, Including I have always wanted to come true!)"
Spike just allowed himself to accept Zecora's feelings since he's a man of his word! the 2 shared their 1st kiss, then Twilight, the CMC, Pinkie, Gilda, your next door neighbor and Mare 2 Well all cheered.
If this was how Spike's days would continue on, he'll be okay, since at least he has somepony who'll give him romance! Months passed & Rarity finally told everypony about her & Fancy Pants. Eventually months turned to years where the others of the mane 6 reveal their relationships! Pinkie Pie & Pokey Pierce, Applejack & Caramel, Fluttershy & Angel, who turned into a pony upon her wish for somepony's love, Twilight & Flash Sentry, and finally Rainbow Dash & Soarin! Now we go a few years into the future & check out what's been going on between Spike & Zecora.
"Mom, Dad, I'm off to school!" said a voce.
"Okay Nrgwenya, see yah!" Said Spike
"Remember to be careful.
for the creatures in this forest are fearful!" said Zecora
"I'm half dragon, of course I can take on anything that'll get in my way, bye!"
Spike & Zecora smiled at each other.
"Wow, what we've created is so beautiful! The child of a fire breathing creature & one lovely teacher!"
Zecora giggled a bit then kissed her husband.
"You've been such a good father,
but are you ready to raise another?" She said, then rubbed her belly.
"What?" Spike said in surprise! "Aw-man!"
