Spike made it back to his home, the Golden Oaks Library & as soon as he closed the door...
"WHAT HAVE I DONE?!" Spike screamed.
Princess Twilight Sparkle came running over to her #1 assistant Spike.
"Spike, what's wrong?" She asked, very concerned about him.
"I made a bet!"
"Spike, how many times must I tell you to stop making bets your unable to win?" She said, in a mad voice, she then noticed Spike was going to cry, so she then put her hooves around him, stroked his spines, kissed his forehead & went into some sort of mom mode! "What was the bet?"
"If Zecora can stop me from making it to Carousel Boutique, then I must become her boyfriend. I'm not interested in her, I only see her as my friend & mentor! I can't see anypony else besides Rarity to be my very special somepony. I must tell her and nopony is going to get in my way!" He then started going into a depressed state "Oh what a fool I've been!"
"Spike, your not a fool, your a tough cookie, I've seen you do great things! Like when we rescued Rarity from the Diamond Dogs, or when you saved the Crystal Empire, let's not forget the time you & that samurai who was visiting our world teamed-up to defeat "the Shadow Neo Z Organization: LOL!". You are wonderful & I think you can beat Zecora but I wonder about her yet unknown strength. (Oh, please let Zecora win, Spike isn't ready to learn of Rarity and Fancy Pants yet!)"
Meanwhile...
"Howdy Zecora, I'm here to help with your potions today!" said a yellow earth filly.
"Ah, hello to you too Applebloom.
I've just finished cleaning this place with a zoom!
I was wondering if you could help me tomorrow,
to save Spike from eventual sorrow."
"Oh, so he's gonna tell Rarity tomorrow, but you think we can stop him from gittin a broken heart? How?" Applebloom asked
"I made a bet & with plan that I'll hatch,
to ensure game, set, and match!
"With this game I'll require your help for this task
I hope that's not too much to ask." She replied.
"Okay, anything for my Best & only Dragon friend Spahk, but what cun ah do?"
"Nothing at the moment is what I'll tell,
Also, can you enlist the help of Scootaloo, Babs Seed, and Sweetie Belle?"
"You can count on me! (I'm sorry Spahk, but Rarity is currently datin' Fancy Pants, we just don' wanna see you destroyed is all.)"
Meanwhile...
"This sucks!" said Gilda, who was very drunk.
"I know, I wanted be Spike's love interest for this story." said Pinkie Pie, who was drunk as well.
"Well, at least we can still root for Zecora to win!" said Rainbow Dash, who was more drunk then the 2 of them combined.
"Yeah." they both replied.
Meanwhile...
"(Zecora, I'm counting on you to win my son's heart! I'd be nothing if he's heart broken!)" She then began writing a message to Twilight.
"Dear Twilight, my most faithful student.
Spike's my son, so back off!

Later that night, after Spike got his things ready, he went straight to bed for he'll need all the energy he can get."( I will not lose to Zecora, remember, it's very messed-up if a student is dating their teacher!)"
Twilight looked at him while he was sleeping & decided to help out Zecora a bit. "(Forgive me Spike, but this is for your own good!)" She then teleported him away, somewhere near Zecora's hut, giving her a huge head start!
