"Hey there Zecora!"
"Well if it isn't Twilight & Spike!
What brings you here with your little tyke?"
"Well, after the whole greed problem was taken care of, I've been making Spike apologize for taking everypony's stuff!"
She then nudged Spike on the side.
"Go-on!"
"S-sorry about taking all your stuff Zecora, I-I was just so happy having so many friends & family that cared for me that I guess my dragon instincts got a hold of me and took advantage of all of them!"
"An apology wont work for me,
though, I'd like to feel like Cheerilee!"
"Feel like Cheerilee? What do you mean by that?" Asked Twilight
"I know so much about dragons & their nature
So, I'd like Spike to come over to learn from his own teacher."
"Well, you did tell me about Spike's accelerating growth! So I only assumed that you might know a thing or two about dragons."
"So, is it a deal that we can seal?" Zecora asked.
"I don't know, what about you Spike, does that sound reasonable?"
"I guess so, I didn't really learn anything from those jerks at the migration!"
Then a flower pot hits Twilight on the head!
"Ow. (How does that always happen? I feel like Samson from Camp Lazlo who's always getting hit in the face by a ball!)"
"So, when will classes start Ms. Zecora?" Spike teased.
"Next week for I have potions ready for a few children to be able to sleep with not one peep!"
So Spike & Twilight left Zecora's hut! So they days pass by & the weeks turns to months & those months turn to a year which is how long the time skip will be! As Spike learned more about Dragons, the more Zecora learned about Spike & how she had come to love him! Spike was a very good boy, he was always early, made sure to pay attention, take notes, study hard, (geez, Twilight Jr. much?). He'd never talk back to the teacher. Whenever it was lunch time, Spike would offer to cook for Zecora. She even noticed how cute Spike is! During that one year, she's decided that she's had enough & wants him to be her boyfriend, and maybe in the future, her husband! So one day...
"Good morning Ms. Zecora!" Spike said.
"Well, if it isn't my student,
why do you look more dapper & prudent?"
"Can you keep a secret?"
Zecora nodded & Spike whispered in her ear...
"Tomorrow, I'll finally tell Rarity I love her!"
"Spike, can't you see with your eyes?
Don't you realize you wont win that prize?" She said in an unamused voice.
"You sound just like Twilight. Hmph I'll win her heart if it's the last thing I do, I've been helping her out at her boutique for a long time now, and it's about time I told her my feelings!"
"Then how about a bet,
if I win then you'll stop being her pet!
If you lose stop fawning over her.
Let her abuse some other cur!
The truth is I've always wanted you to date,
so if I win then you'll also must become my mate!"
"Y-you really feel that way about me?" Spike replied
"Yes, I've fallen for this past year.
It's a love that I hold dear."
"I'm sorry Zecora, but I only see you as a friend, and I wont let you or anypony else keep me away from my beautiful Rarity."
"So, is it a deal that's now sealed?" she asked.
"Deal!" Spike said, as the foolish fool he is!
"Good, So tomorrow, we'll be playing a game of hide-n-seek.
Doing whatever I can to stop you from reaching the Boutique!
Now go, classes are over,
and get ready to become my lover!"
So Spike dashed out of her hut, readying to prepare for tomorrow!
