World War P

It was a dark, dreary, and very stormy night. Our story begins when I first watched the 6 o’clock news. Everything was going fine on that day, but everything went south at 6 o’clock, when I was first informed that it had happened. Everypony’s worst fears had been realized. They were coming, and that meant only one thing...

World War P or World War Ponies was starting, and it was between the three major groups: the pegasi, the earth ponies, and the unicorns. I, myself, am on the pegasi’s side because I am one. The three teams were evenly matched. The world was split into three parts, and they all had the equal amount of territory. There was Ponyville: earth ponies only, there was Cloudsdale: pegasi only, and last but most definitely not least there was Canterlot: unicorns only. They all had something special that helped them survive. Earth ponies could make and harvest crops so they’d never starve, pegasi could fly and control weather, and unicorns could use magic. Even Princess Celestia and Nightmare Moon or Princess Luna were fighting to see who ruled Equestria. Needless to say the motto at the time was, “this means war!”

World War P was under way. All three groups had their own respective scientist’s, and each group was equally matched in tactics. The earth ponies’ tactics were all based around defense, they had huge barriers protecting one building which withheld all their food supply. The pegasi’s tactics were completely based on attack, they had scientist working bombs and all sorts of other explosives, even some of the ponies, like FireFly could pull off “The Atomic Rainboom.” “What is an atomic rainboom?” You ask yourself. An atomic rainboom is where a pony picks up enough speed and slams into a building and utterly demolishes it with a blast of force and colors. The unicorns’ tactics were more of the all around kind, they had barriers blockading one building, which most of them took refuge in, and they had scientist’s working on bombs, weapons, and armor only unicorns could use.

The unicorns were planning a huge attack on the earth ponies. They had been gathering materials for two months by using telepathy to use pickaxes and mining all sorts of ores. They had just hit a vein of uranium, and were building a nuke. They had 18 scientists working on the bomb itself, and they had eight more scientists working on the launch and detonate mechanisms. They had the trajectory perfectly lined up, and were about to launch when something went wrong and the nuke detonated, and killed every unicorn accept for a group of about 90 unicorns, and in that group was Twilight Velvet and Crescent Sparkle, also known as Twilight Sparkle’s parents.

The pegasi had a secret or two as well because they had just finished constructing the Rainbow Factory. Rainbow Factory is a factory where pegasi suck the color and life out of you, and crush your body under the two-ton weight, then they take that mess and dump it in a refuse pile on the very outskirts of Cloudsdale’s border. The foul stench of death and decay would make some of the earth ponies throw up blood for hours at a time. Pegasi were of course impervious to this stench because they didn’t have a certain smell censor, and they couldn’t smell anything was more than old cheese foul. Anypony who wasn’t a pegasus who was found on Cloudsdale’s territory were immediately sent to the Rainbow Factory and terminated.

The earth ponies had a great spring harvest that spring so they had pretty much an unlimited supply of food and they had the perfect shelter so they were set. But, something no other race of pony new was that the earth ponies had scientists working on weaponry, and armor so when the time came they could battle and conquer. The armor and weaponry were meant to be only worn by earth ponies, and it would not fit any other race. As time went on the barricades got more reinforced, and it had almost gotten to the point where the fort was impenetrable.

The war was at a standstill until the pegasi were going to attack the already weak unicorns, little did they know that the unicorns were going to go destroy the earth ponies on that day, and as if on cue the earth ponies were going to go attack the pegasi. So the three groups went into attack mode, but they all missed each other by three minutes. So they all kind of failed on that part, but when the earth ponies returned home they were completely in awe to find that their base had been completely demolished. The unicorns came back to Canterlot with the tons of food they had stolen from the earth ponies to find that their fort had been completely destroyed. The pegasi flew back to Cloudsdale with no problems, they were happy that they had just wrecked Canterlot and got away with it. A guard pegasus had been looking out at the other territories when they got back, and had realized that Cloudsdale was all that was left of Equestria. The guard rushed to the owner of the pegasi SpitFire Sr, since she was leader of the Wonderbolts the pegasi had elected her for owner of all peasi.

The earth ponies and unicorns threw up the white flag and walked over to Cloudsdale. Now they were begging for their lives, but SpitFire was definitely not heartless, so the earth ponies and unicorns apologized and SpitFire forgave them. “From that day forth the pegasi, unicorns, and earth ponies lived in peace. The End.” 


“That’s the end of the story kids.” Lavender Lilac said to her little foals.

“Awwwww, but mom!” Amethyst and Eminence Lilac whined to their mother.


“Sorry children, but that’s all that mommy wrote.” She said giving the kids a motherly, loving, and tender smile. “But, I do have a love story I wrote that I could read you!” She said with a enthusiastic smile, and little giggle of joy.


“Ew, gross!” Amethyst said.


“Yeah, gross mom!” Eminence replied.


“Alright then, go to bed my little darlings.” She said as she gave the two of them kisses on the forehead. “Good night, I love you!” She said with love so thick you could cut it with a knife.


“Night, mom! I love you.” Amethyst said with a blush because it made him feel like a girl.


“Good night, mommy. I love you.” Eminence said with a cute little twirl of her body.


“I should probably get to bed myself.” the mother said to herself as she walked to her room. When she made it to her room, she shut the door and went over to the far left wall and put her hoof on a picture, and a tear of joy ran down her cheek, then she got in bed and fell asleep. In her dream she dreamed about that picture, and what was written on it; “Never give up on your dreams.” It had been written by her dead husband named Mauve Lilac. He had been a wonderbolt who died of a broken wing and a very long fall. He was flying and he didn’t know his wing was broken until halfway through his routine, when he cramped up and fell 12,583 feet. Now his message is all that remains of him, and Lavender Lilac would never give up at what she does: she writes novels or short stories for her kids, and then reads them to them so they won’t feel the sadness, and pain that she had felt after she found out Mauve was dead...
