A Dash of Apple

It all started on a beautiful summer afternoon in the small town of Ponyville. Applejack was on Sweet Apple Acres doing her daily apple bucking. Rainbow Dash was napping in one of the trees that had already been bucked. Applejack glanced over at the cerulean colored pony with the rainbow mane, and thought about how cute she looked sleeping there. Applejack and Rainbow Dash had been dating for a year now because today was their anniversary. Rainbow Dash was going to spend the whole day with her girlfriend because she loved her with all her heart and soul. That morning Rainbow Dash surprised Applejack by showing up at Sweet Apple Acres with a bouquet of flowers, and gave the orange earth pony an intimate kiss on the lips. Applejack was very taken aback because this was not like the athletic, mischievous, and daring pony she had come to love, but she wasn’t complaining, secretly Applejack liked this side better. Rainbow Dash must have sensed that because she has always and only used her sweet side when around Applejack.

In the meantime, everyone else was frantically preparing for Applejack and Rainbow Dash’s anniversary. Pinkie Pie was putting up balloons and streamers. Rarity was making everything glittery and sparkly. Twilight Sparkle was reading a book on parties. Derpy was derping around in the barrel where everyone would soon be bobbing for apples, and Fluttershy was just trying to help in any way she could.

“Oh yay, I think we’re almost ready for the anniversary party! This is going to be so delightful!” Pinkie Pie said enthusiastically.

The room was covered in mainly hearts and pictures of Applejack next to Rainbow Dash, Applejack holding Rainbow Dash’s hooves. Applejack hugging Rainbow Dash, and not many, but a significant amount of Applejack and Rainbow Dash sharing pecks on the cheek. There was a small picture both in the corner, which was surely only so Applejack and Rainbow Dash could take a memorable picture of their anniversary, and nothing more. The cake had six layers on it, and was topped was a sculpted figure of Applejack and Rainbow Dash hugging each-other.

“Welp, I guess it’s time to go get our sweethearts!” Pinkie Pie said happily, “Any volunteers?”

“I- I’ll go, Pinkie Pie”, said Fluttershy, “If it’s ok with you”.

“Of course it’s ok with me! I’ll see you when you get back!” Pinkie Pie gave Fluttershy a quick kiss on the cheek, and opened the door for her.

Fluttershy walked out the door, blushing just a little bit as she left to go get Applejack and Rainbow Dash.
“See you soon, Pinkie Pie” said Fluttershy as she closed the door, making almost no noise doing so. She thought to herself, “Oh boy... I’m gonna love when it’s my anniversary.

Rainbow Dash had finished her nap, and had gotten down. Since Rainbow had been napping all day she hadn't spent any time with Applejack. Rainbow looked over at the orange earth pony, and thought about the different ways to make love to her, “I need to stop dreaming and make her feel good.” Rainbow thought to herself. Rainbow trotted over to Applejack and pushed her to the ground, and with a squeal of delight passionately kissed her, it was a long wet kiss, and Applejack enjoyed every second of it. Finally, Rainbow let go and they both gasped for air. “That was great, sugarcube. We need more of that.” Applejack said to Rainbow Dash. Applejack grabbed Rainbow by the neck and pulled her close to her, “I love you, sugarcube.” Rainbow said, “Right back at ya!” And then they kissed again it was another long and wet kiss.

Fluttershy arrives just in time to watch this graphic love scene unfold. Fluttershy didn’t want to interfere with their love. So she decided to wait it out, and let them finish when they felt like it.
To her surprise, it took a few minutes for them to stop. Rainbow Dash collapsed next to Applejack, pupils huge and blushing like nopony has ever seen her blush before. They laid next to each-other for a minute or two, when Fluttershy decided to intervene.
“Um... Guys?” Fluttershy said, treading on thin ice.
With a yelp, Applejack and Rainbow Dash both hopped up at the same time. They both stared at Fluttershy in a daze. It was obvious they were both still in “love mode”.
“Sorry to intervene... I waited until you guys finished.” Fluttershy said
“Why thank you, Fluttershy! I really appricea- Wait a second... How long were you watching us?” Applejack curiously asked.
“Oh... You know... A few minutes...” Fluttershy said, unable to look Applejack in the eye. She noticed that Rainbow Dash wasn’t really paying attention. Her eyes were unfocused, and her arm was around Applejack’s shoulders.
Rainbow Dash suddenly sprang to life, and got up right in Fluttershy’s face. “Are you saying that you were watching us kiss?”
“Ummm... Yes?” Fluttershy said, insecurely.
Rainbow Dash’s tone changed. “How did it look? Did Applejack look like she was enjoying it? I’m sure I was enjoying it.” At the end of that sentenced, she leaned over to Applejack and gave her a big, wet kiss on the cheek.
Applejack’s pupils widened when the kiss reached her cheek, and she reached her arms around Rainbow Dash, and fell on the ground hugging.
Fluttershy thought to herself, “Oh my, they really do love each-other”. Fluttershy knew that she had to get them up, and down to sugarcube corner... But how could she get them to get moving without irritating them?
“He- Hey guys? I really need you to come on down to sugarcube corner. We need you guys to help with something! You guys can hug each-other and hold hooves all you want on the way there.” she said, hoping for the answer she wanted.
The lovebirds got up off the ground, holding hooves, and Applejack said to Fluttershy, “Ok, whatever you say. Let’s go, Rainbow Dash!”
Rainbow Dash responded, “Anything you say, sweetie.” Rainbow Dash was obviously still in a daze.
The walk back to Sugarcube Corner was one of the longest walks Fluttershy had ever had in her life. She was walking next to the two largest lovebirds she had ever met, and boy, did they walk slow. They were too busy hugging, holding hooves, smooching, and telling each-other how in love they were with each-other. But alas, they finally made it back to Sugarcube Corner.
“Um... Guys... We’re here... It’s time to go inside now. If it’s okay with you.”
“Alright, sugarcube, let’s head on in and see what all the ruckus is about.” Applejack said to her partner.
“Alright! Let’s go!” Rainbow Dash said, seeming less dazed.
They opened the door, and immediately saw lights turn on, and all of their friends yelling “SURPRISE! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!”
Applejack and Rainbow Dash’s faces immediately lit up. This surprise brought tears of joy to Rainbow Dash’s eyes. She had never felt this kind of happiness before. Seeing Rainbow Dash crying, although they were tears of joy, Applejack quickly comforted Rainbow Dash with a hug.
“Aww, shucks, yall. You guys didn’t have to do this for us.” Applejack said, while still holding Rainbow Dash.
“Oh, but we did!” said Twilight Sparkle, “We know how much you two love each-other, and we wanted to show how much we love you two together, and as individuals!”
The couple kept walking around the party area in awe of the amazing decorations. When Rarity walked in front of them and started talking.
"Oh you sweeties, you two look fabulous with each other! You're absolutely meant to be!", Rarity said in her regular voice.
"Awww...Thanks, Rarity. That means a lot to me." Applejack and Rainbow Dash said at the same time.
"Oh my goodness!", Rarity said. "You guys even say the same things! When are you guys getting married? It would be absolutely darling if i could have the honor of designing your wedding dresses!"
“Well, now that you mention it...” Rainbow Dash said and trailed off. As if out of nowhere Rainbow Dash pulls out two small boxes. One was white, the other black. They had a symbol on them, and when the two boxes touched the would make a heart.
“Pick yours.”Rainbow said. She watched Applejack pick the white one.
“Ok, sugarcube. Now what?” Applejack asked curiously
“Now open it you silly filly.” Rainbow Dash said in a goofy voice.
They both open their boxes’ at the same time, and each of them had a necklace inside with a half heart at the end of it.
“So now when we put our halves together it makes a heart, AJ.” Rainbow Dash said.
“So I will never forget of you.” Applejack said back.
“Also AJ.” Rainbow said.
“Yes, sugarcube?”, Applejack anxiously replied.
“Will you marry me?” Rainbow asked her. Tears of joy overflowed Applejack’s eyes. “Yes, sugarcube! Yes!” Applejack said without trying to hide her enthusiasm. Applejack pulled Rainbow Dash into her arms, was squeezing her tightly, and then they broke into a long, wet, lusty, and very passionate kiss.
Everyone was cheering for them as they had their “engagement kiss.”

A few weeks later, Rainbow and Applejack were having their first honeymoon, and they couldn’t wait to get it started. All of Ponyville and even Celestia was there to see them off. They went to the Bowling Alley and Applejack won. Rainbow Dash looked sad because she hated losing, and Applejack gave her a lick on the cheek, and that cheered Rainbow right up. After the long day of doing nothing together, they watched the sun set, and shared a passionate kiss at sunset. They came home to Ponyville while everypony was asleep, and the next day Pinkie Pie threw a party for the newly-wed couple.

A month passed, and a new relationship had been formed. No pony had known about it until Twilight Sparkle called her best friends to her house. It turns out Twilight loved Rarity because she was so sophisticated, and luckily enough Rarity had loved Twilight too because of her book smarts, she thought it was so cute. The two of them started dating and everypony was happy in Ponyville.

Hearts and Hooves Day, everypony in Ponyville except the fillies had a very special somepony. Applejack and Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy, and last but definitely not least Twilight and Rarity. Love is most definitely in bloom this summer, and nothing is going to get in the way of it. The sunset and everything was quiet in the small town of Ponyville.
