My Daughters

Hope

Dennis is a sweet young man with brown hair and grey eyes with a tint of ice blue around the irises. He was sort of skinny, but he was strong and fit. He was a closet brony with not many friends. What made him lonelier is that his parents died when he was 17 and 5 years later he still hasn't gotten over them. His life was a dying life, one time he actually thought of committing suicide, but he just couldn't bring himself to do it, because of hope. Hope was what guided him through his life. He hoped that everything would change and his life would get infinitely better. He was trying to at least keep his hopes up, but, it was a losing battle. Ever since he lost his parents he wanted someone or something to love.

Dennis was walking back to his house from work. Work was the worst fucking thing in his entire life. Just watching customers walk in, buy shit, and walk out with their grocery bags in tow. He clocked out and went home, it took him at least 10 minutes to get from his house to work. Making money was hard enough with his kind of job, but her didn't care. He lived with his parents until they passed away, then he took over in the house. But he didn't change a thing about but just a new TV or a new game system or decoration. But everything stayed pretty much the same. He kept everything clean, he kept everything in place, everything was fine. He walked towards the front door and pulled out his keys.

He unlocked the door and pushed it open and walked into his house and closed the door behind him, locking it again. He walked past his family portrait. He walked into the living room and sat down on his couch to cool off his heels from so much walking. He sighed and turned on his TV and Xbox and played some Dead Space 3. Once he was done he walked into his bedroom and closed the door. He took off his shoes and kicked them into the corner and laid down on the bed and fell asleep.

He woke up the next morning and went to work. He clocked in, did his shift, clocked out and went home. On his way home he was walking down his normal path when he noticed a cardboard box sitting there next to the big green trash can in the alleyway. He didn't know why this particular box caught his eye. But he felt something strange about it. He shook it off and continued on his walk home. He tried to push the box out of his mind, but somehow in managed to beat its way back in. He walked into his house and tried to get it off his mind by playing some Dead Space 3.

This failed for he quickly got bored. He decided to sleep it off, so he walked into his room and closed the door behind him and lied down on the bed. He closed his eyes to sleep, but instead he just thought. What was in that damn box that made me so interested in it? He thought. The box was stuck in his mind and he couldn't sleep. I can't take it anymore. I gotta go see whats up with that box... He thought. He got out of the bed, put his shoes on and walked out of his house and down the usual route that he took to work.

He arrived at the alleyway again and sure enough, the box was still there. He sighed and gingerly walked towards the box and then knelt down beside it. He looked inside through the slit in the box. He saw something inside, It was white, and it looked like it was covering something like a blanket, But it looked like it was breathing... His mind was full of questions. What the hell is in here? Whats underneath it? Is it alive? His thoughts, his breathing, his heart was out of control. He gingerly reached for the box and slowly opened it. What was inside, almost gave him a heart attack. Inside was were three fillies, but they were familiar. It was Princess Celestia, Luna, and Cadence.

"What the fu-" He stopped himself when he saw that they were sleeping. He closed his mouth instantly but his mind was still out of control. How did they get here? Why are they here? What should I do? He got up to think. When he turned around he accidentally kicked the cardboard box. He instantly froze. He heard the three fillies waking up and he slowly turned and looked at them. He looked back at the cardboard box and knelt down. Celestia with her pink mane looked up at him strangely. She looked around the brown walls around her and then back at Dennis. Dennis cracked a slight smile and Celestia smiled back. Luna and Cadence woke up and looked up at him the same way Celestia did when she first saw him.

Celestia slightly shivered from the chilling cold wind. She looked back at him and reached her fore hooves out to him wanting to be picked up. He put his hands under her shoulders and picked her up and then cradled her in his arms. She enjoyed the warmth of his arms and chest, so she snuggled up with him, causing his heart to melt with joy and happiness. He looked back at Luna and Cadence. They were snuggled up with each other trying to keep each other warm. Dennis shook his head. I can't take this anymore. I have to act. He thought. He put Celestia down onto the cold cement sidewalk and took off his jacket. He held it out to Celestia and she jumped into it. He then held the jacket out to Luna and Cadence and they both looked at him.

Dennis looked at them worriedly and they both looked back at the jacket and hesitantly hopped into it and snuggled up each other and Celestia to keep warm. He held them close and he felt them squirming around tickling him, but he held back his laughter and walked home.

He walked up to his front door and opened it and then walked in closing the door behind him with his foot. He flipped the switch and the lights came on. He walked into the living room and he felt rustling in his arms. He might've woken one of them up by turning on the light. Quickly he set the jacket down on the couch and then opened it.

They were snuggled up with each other. The sheer cuteness of it caused him to smile brightly at the sisters snuggled up with each other all soundly. They began to shiver when he opened up the jacket. He sat on the couch next to them and he held them close trying to keep them warm. Dennis' body temperature warmed them quickly and they stopped shivering. He wrapped the jacket around them and went to his closet and got a blanket. He came back and he saw that the fillies were awake and exploring the couch. He walked over to them with the blanket and sat down on the couch watching them explore the couch and then the coffee table. They weren't really interested in anything, but they all yawned. Dennis laughed and hey yawned.

He saw them snuggle up in the jacket again and he walked over to the kitchen and got some carrots and broke them into equal pieces. he walked back over to them and fed them the carrots. They ate them happily and the smiled at him. He smiled back. "What are you doing in my world?" He accidentally said. Celestia looked at him with the same amount of confusion on her face that Dennis had on his. "Well... are you lost?" He asked. As soon as the words left his mouth they looked sad.

"Well. Don't worry. I'm sure whatever brought you here is gonna fix itself soon. But for now, you can stay with me." He said. That seemed to do the trick because all of their ears perked up and they looked at him. He smiled and they smiled back and they all hugged him. His heart was so full of joy and happiness that he couldn't even take it. He returned the hug and held them tightly.

"Alright, it's time to go to sleep." He said and walked over to his bedroom door and closed it, afraid that they might get swallowed by the clothes. He walked back over to them and saw them trying to get comfortable on the couch. He turned the lights off to where the only light source in the room was the moonlight, shining brightly through the window. He lied down on the couch and wrapped himself in the blanket and closed his eyes to sleep. He felt a warm pressure on his chest and stomach.

He opened his eyes and saw that Luna and Cadence were sleeping happily on his stomach while Celestia was resting on his chest. She was looking at him sleepy eyes. He stared back into her beautiful purple eyes and he put his hand on her back and held her close like a teddy bear. But not too tight trying not to hurt her. She then smiled and snuggled his chest and fell asleep.

Dennis closed his eyes to sleep. He was filled with happiness and joy. His life had been changed forever... Celestia, Luna and Cadence were real, and they were in his home. In his life. They're real, they're here. With me. Dennis thought happily and fell asleep with the little fillies sleeping on him.
