"Metal? What do you need metal for?" Twilight asked. "I need something to work with, and I work best with metal. I could make something that could bring me home." She seemed to understand now. Alright, I'll see what I can do, what are you going to do in the mean time?" "It could take me a while to make it, so I have to go work at Applejack's." I replied.
"Okay, come on Spike, let's go see if we can find some metal." She said as the two left. And then I left to go to Applejack's but was stopped by Pinkie Pie, I have no idea where she came from. "HEY Hidden Blade, you need to loosen up and stop being so serious." She said smiling the whole time as usual. I guess I am always serious.
"Hey Pinkie, and I'll loosen up eventually. So how are you." I said. "I'm great! Thanks for asking! And I know your great too! Because you have a roof over your head now, and you're making friends." She said. "Well actually those reasons are fair, but recent events have gotten me down a bit." She gasped as if I just said I got shot in all of my legs.
"No! You won't be sad for long. 'Cuz I'm planning a party for you." She said pulling me into a tight hug. I tried to squirm out at first but I couldn't escape her iron grip. "A party?!" I said. "Yeah a party, you can hear me RIGHT!" She yelled in my ear which made my head ring. "I hear you fine, but what for?" I said trying to escape her hug again but failed, I was surprised no ponies noticed too much, I guess this is normal Pinkie.
"A welcome party, you've been through so much, you deserve one." She said finally releasing me. "You don't have to do that Pinkie." I really didn't need a big party. Kram could be right here in this town for all I know. "I don't have to. I want to!" She told me. "Pinkie please, you don't have to..." I begged. "I know I don't have to, I want to, I already said that." "You shouldn't..." I said.
"What, it'll be fun come on!" She was persistent. "Pinkie! I don't want you to throw me a party!" I really didn't need to be found. I'm actual'y starting to care for these ponies...I don't want Kram to hurt them. Then I noticed her expression, she looked saddened and her ears were down. "Oh...okay..." She said drooping her head a little bit.
"Pinkie, I'm sorry. I'm just not an upfront kind of guy, I'm a bit shy." I said trying to make her feel better. "It's alright Hidden, what if I just invited my closest friends?" She said perking up a bit. "That sounds great." I smiled and her smile refilled with her crazy self. "Whatever makes you happy." She said giving me a little hug.
"I got to go, I have to get the party set up, how does tomorrow sound?" She asked. "Perfect." "Alright see ya Hidden" "See ya." With that she zoomed off. I continues my walk to Applejack's when a little more into it I ran into Rarity. "Hello Hidden Blade. How are you." She said. "Hey Rarity. I'm fine thanks, you?" I replied. "I'm doing quite alright myself. It seems to me your getting around, I've heard from nearly all my friends about you." She told me.
"Really? Well it's good to have friends, I didn't have any before. Maybe my house burning down was a good thing." I said. "I don't think it was a good thing. Maybe something else should have brought you here, something less destructive. ~sigh~, your mane didn't last one night." She said looking up at it.
"Yeah, I don't sleep nicely." I said. "It wouldn't matter, I didn't make it too good, just a quick one..." I saw her start moving her hoof to my mane and I prepared for the nice feeling but she stopped probably because we're in public and that would seem awkward.
"Maybe you should come to my boutique sometime for tea. I always like a good chat." She said. I didn't know what day it was. So I thought back to my watch, it said it was Thursday last night, so it must be Friday today, Pinkie's party tomorrow..."How about Sunday?" I asked. "Sounds perfect! Alright, well I have to be on my way, have a good day Hidden." She said. "You too Rarity." I said waving.
I went back to my journey to Applejack's. "Hey you!" I heard a familiar voice say. Before I could say anything, Rainbow Dash landed in front of me. "Where have you been. I've been waiting for my mission or whatever." She said annoyed. Crap, I completely forgot. "Oh sorry Dash, got caught up. Right your mission briefing." I started.
"It seems there is a dangerous being lurking around who wants to cause damage to everypony. But he is shape shifted." I knew Kram would have shape shifted correctly by now. "Is it a changeling?" She asked. "Uh...yes. It is a changeling. He wants to destroy love everywhere. We have to stop him. His name is Kram." I said. "Alright I got this, what's my mission?" She said looking very eager.
"Your mission is to scope the area for any suspicious ponies, then bring them to me." "Alright, see ya soon, this shouldn't take long." She said as she zoomed into the sky. I continues my walk. And finally I got to Applejack's farm. "Howdy Hidden, ready for work?" She asked. "Yes." I answered.
Man, that day was hard. I've done some pretty hard things, but that was high on the list!
