The Rise of Equestria
Static envelopes the screen as it slowly flickers into focus. “He-*Bzzt* can you hea-*Bzzt*.” Finally the screen focuses upon a solitary male figure sitting in a dimly lit room, his clothing is rather simplistic and the paint on the walls are chipping. As the camera's focus improves you can notice
that the man sitting in front of the computer is riddled with scars. He is a pale sickly fellow, yet he looks as though he's seen many battles. “There I finally got this thing working! It's been so long
since anything this primitive has been used and it took a lot of effort to fix. But if I'm lucky then they won't be able to trace this signal.” As he says this he looks off to the side where part of a
door can be seen. “My name is Vik Lovell, the current date is August 13th, 2145. As of right now the army is advancing to all quarters of the globe. Almost all of North America has been
taken, Central America and Brazil fell without much effort, and Japan as well as most of Mainland China along with it. The only places that are able to put up any fight at all at the moment are South Africa, France, Scotland, Slovakia, Utah, Illinois, Iowa, and Washington D.C. North America will be completely under their control soon... wait I'm sorry I've jumped right into the middle of things. I need to calm myself down and explain things from the beginning.” Vik's breath is
ragged and he seems to be looking at all corners of the room as if there are people there waiting for him to say something that he shouldn't. 

“Please allow me to restart from the beginning of it all. In December of 2010 a show known as My Little Pony: Friendship is magic was released by the Hub. It was considered a colossal success and a cult following of the show started up as the season progressed. These people came to be known as Bronies and they were not ashamed to show the world their love for this show. Although
the original intended audience was 7 year old girls, the show was absorbed by men from the ages of 18-30. These men created not only simple fanart, music, and even flash games. They created a vast community that spread love and tolerance through the internet,” love and tolerance was almost spat from Vik's mouth as he explained this. “Their first community was known as Equestria Daily, from there it evolved and in less than a year there was a pony version of every major website known to man. But it didn't stop at that, it only got worse from that point forward.

“On December 21st, 2012 every Brony in the world gathered in Canada and overthrew the
Government. Canada was from that day forward known as Equestria. After their system of government was established they proceeded to put two people into power. They determined right from the start that the leader would always be female. Much like the Roman Caesar or the
Russian Czar, the leader of Equestria will always be known as Princess Celestia. Her second in command would always be known as Princess Luna and they would make decisions under a form of rule that is a combination between Oligarchy and Matriarchy. During the Day Princess Celestia reigns over the land and makes all important decisions while Princess Luna sleeps. After waking up they reign together for some time and discuss their plans before Princess Celestia retires for the night. There is never a time when the people cannot talk to one of the royalty, they can even be granted special access to speak with one of the “princesses” face to face. And though that seems like the perfect time to attack one of them, no one would be stupid enough to even try such an act. I can explain their guardian forces momentarily, but first I need to discuss their
army...

“The army of Equestria is indeed formidable, so far not a single military force has been able to stand up to these monsters. They can defend themselves for some time but everyone eventually falls. First there's the ground troops; the foot soldiers, tanks drivers, and any other form of land based vehicle you can think of. They travel across the land in an unstoppable stampede,
and they refer to themselves as the Earth ponies. I've seen many cities fall to only a small platoon of these soldiers, but they are typically easy to spot and prepare for. What every non-brony land
fears most is the Pegasus Armada. A series of high speed stealth fighter jets. When Germany first attempted to take down the Brony forces it was a massacre. Manehatten or what you most likely know as Quebec was destroyed in less than a week and they were going to march through Equestria until they took down Canterlot. That is... until the Wonderbolts stealth jets were sent off to deal with them. The German army was massive, and yet 3 jets took them down in seconds.
But they didn't stop there; they sent their ultimate bomber straight to Germany.  Rainbow Dash, the fastest jet they have was also equipped with their ultimate weapon. A thermonuclear explosive that
sent off a devastating aftershock that bursts out into a massive rainbow ring. They refer to this weapon as the Sonic Rainboom, and every time it's mentioned it sends shivers down our spines. That weapon is frightening beyond reason and as far as we know, the
research division is making even greater weapons.

“The unicorn research division is probably their biggest department. Outnumbering even the Earth ponies these people have spent countless hours developing the greatest technology this land has ever known. Hover technology and lasers took them only a few years to fully develop and after that only a few months to master. No one could have known that a show such as this
could gather the greatest technological minds in the world to work together as one, but it did and due to that they developed one of the most frightening ground based weapons to date. A large mech in the shape of a unicorn, powered by anti-matter and capable of just about
anything. The horn can take power from the anti-matter and use it as a conductor for matter refocusing. The air, the earth, the water; all of it can be ripped apart and recreated into any form of weapon that they wish. Among the lightning bolts, fire storms, and ice barrages, I have seen one of those mechs fire off a large alchemical laser that held every spectrum of color imaginable. These alchemy beasts were their first step to discovering the basis of magic, even now it is still in it's rawest form; but there is an entire wing of the research division dedicated to figuring out how to control magic. Although these were impressive discoveries within the scientific world, their greatest scientific achievement was the special guard that was created in order to protect the princesses.

“The Atomic-powered laser-guided infrared control operated robotic neutralizers, otherwise known as A.L.I.C.O.R.N. There have only ever been 3 created and they are unstoppable. Their body type is unfamiliar to most, but when checking the archives of books hidden deep within Canterlot I found a comic series known as Iron Man. When looking at these robots I noticed that
their bodies were very similar to the image I saw in those comics. But their heads were shaped like the ponies of that show with a large horn on the forehead, and they have these large angelic wings on their backs. We had originally thought that their horns were how they were being controlled and so we managed to destroy the horn of one of them. That only seemed to anger it as it sprung to life and annihilated the soldiers who were sent to take them down. We have since then learned that the horns only purpose is to generate an impenetrable shield meant to protect the princesses from all forms of attack. They never bothered to repair the horn of the one we damaged, instead they improved it's attacking capability and left the other 2 A.L.I.C.O.R.N. units to defend the princesses. 

“The princesses never seem to wish to resort to violence though, they would rather spread peace through the lands in order to end the world's suffering. But due to massive resistance, they have created a torture division as well. Although they never seem to refer to it as torture, they like to use the phrase “Making cupcakes.” This process is very similar to the tortures described in the novel 1984, by the end there are only 2 outcomes. They either love ponies or were too resistant to fall in love with the colorful characters. Those that refuse to love the ponies are sent away to the Diamond Dog labor camps where they will be of at least some use to the citizens of Equestria. Many of my comrades are currently toiling away on the Sweet Apple Acres farm land, growing miles of crops for the citizens. 

“Every once in a while a converted Brony will start to go into relapse, they get sent into the Derpy Correctional facilities in order to prevent a full relapse. From what I've heard the correctional facilities just continually show the 10 seasons of the show that were created. Many people spend their vacation time at the correctional facilities simply because it is a “great place to relax and watch their favorite show over and over again.” But media and entertainment is still flowing forward as well. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is now more of a religion than anything, but tv shows, movies, music, and games that have nothing to do with the show are still being produced. Even through this massive obsession for this show, the world still presses
forward. And yet it feels as though it is standing perfectly still.

“Going back into the rule of the princesses, it was determined by the original creators of this form of government that the princesses must remain pure. Therefor only pure virgins may take the throne. Many of the former princesses have stepped down from their title simply because they wished to start a family. It is said that the longest reign of a Princess Celestia was from the very first one. She reigned until she was 97 and died of old age. That day was very sad for all the people of Equestria, and yet no one has ever known who the original Princess Celestia was. All of
her records have been erased from even the deepest of the castle's archives. But every princess from then on has been trying to prove that she was as great as the original and yet not a single one has lived up to the expectations that were set by her. 

“Many people would call the world they're trying to create a Utopian society. But to those of us that resist their influence, it is nothing short of a nightmare. There have been reports that a section of the Unicorns has finally genetically engineered a colorful pony in real life. A bright green
earth pony fully capable of speech and cognitive thought, and they have successfully transferred a human brain directly into it. And from what I've found in their documents they are also working on
creating a Pegasus model and a Unicorn model as well. The Pegasus one is coming along more smoothly if only for the fact that they are still having issues controlling magic. This is truly growing out of hand, and this is why I am creating this video from this strange future that exists. I am begging you to put a stop to this.

“Please, Mrs. Lauren Faust; whatever you do I am begging you to not create this show. I don't know what will happen if Equestria is never created but it can't be worse than what is currently happening. You are our last hope to stop this world from ever existing, so I am asking you deep from the bottom of my heart. Create anything other than this show, or all will be lost.”
A loud banging can be heard from outside as a faint voice demands that Vik open door. “Oh no, they've found me! Farewell Mrs. Faust, I pray that this doesn't get lost through the time streams. The Solar Sisterhood has put all their faith in me getting this message to you and stopping this before it ever starts. Goodby-” At this point the video cuts out.

Standing over the now deceased body of
Vik Lovell, 2 guards wearing riot gear holster their guns and stare
at the out dated computer screen. The only things that can read are:
Recording complete, 
Processing: 100% 
Rendering: 100%
Opening Time Stream: 100%
Sending to Lauren Faust on March 31st, 2008: 100%
File transfer complete, powering down...

“Well this sucks,” the first guard says, “we weren't able to prevent him from sending the file. So does this mean the time stream will be altered?”

The second guard chuckles and asks, “You don't know why we were really sent here do you?” the other confirmed this by shaking his head in the negative. At this point the second guard takes out, lights, and takes a heavy drag from a cigarette. “She wanted this to remain hidden from the masses, but since you're my partner you can be trusted this information. On March 31st, 2008 Lauren Faust was stricken with inspiration to create the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She then proceeded to convince the Hub to promote this show and form there formulated a plan to gather an army. Lauren Faust became our first Princess Celestia, and she ruled with a gentle heart. On her 97th birthday she laid on her death bed and demanded that no one ever know who the first Princess was except for those of us in the guard. She informed us of the video and warned us of this day.” At this point the first guard's eye widen with a sudden realization. The second
guard chuckles, finishes his cigarette and confirms the first guards suspicion. “This entire day was planned down to the moment that we were supposed to show up. We were sent here to make sure that this video DID get sent, and now that it's already in the hands of our first Princess we have nothing more to worry about. This land shall soon be peaceful and in no time at all we shall all have our own pony bodies.” The second guard stands and salutes the corpse on the ground claiming, “If not for you none of this would have happened, long live Equestria!” The 2 guards then exit the building and proceed to set fire to it, forever destroying any evidence that it
ever existed.

This is what I think of whenever I see someone anti-Brony start mouthing
off about how ponies suck and they are going to ruin everything. I can 
honestly imagine a Brony uprising taking place and we just take over the
world.

It would be Utopian for us but there's no other way to 
view it but as a Dystopia to anyone who hates the show. This is simply a
Sardonic piece of work that I though up on my way to work one day and I
found it funny. My friends found it funny as well and that was all the 
incentive I needed to write this.

I hope you all enjoy it and I 
hope it goes well cause I plan on doing another one from the view of the
Utopian society. Gotta love that Duality yea?

[Edit 1] For those
of you who are saying that I made the Bronies seems contradictory to 
the cause of Love and Tolerance. realize that this is told in the 
perspective of a man who sees the Bronies as an enemy. So things will 
seem worse than they actually are (HINT HINT NUDGE NUDGE!)

[Edit 2] To those who are saying stuff along the lines of me not making this 
guy act like a traditional "bad guy," realize that in our world no one 
is truly bad. We just have differing opinions about what good is and 
thus see the opposing side as bad.
