Slumber party and the party

It was already 5pm and Lighting was over they were telling scary stories and what a coincidence lightning flashed and as soon as Purple stopped telling the 'Headless Horse' story.
"AAAHHHH!!!!'' Both of them screamed as they hid under the queen sized bed. "Erm... Shine wanna cast that new spell ya just learned?" Purple said with a quivering voice the lantern had gone out because of the opened window. "Ha-ha yeah why *gulp* not?'' Eclipse said. She was concentrating very hard but she had sparks flying out of her horn. But she eventually got it.
An hour passed then Breeze came to get them "Girls. Dinner time.'' Breeze said as she walked into the room and looked under the bed. "Boo!'' Breeze said playfully. The girls came out from under the bed and raced to the dining room and as Eclipse pushed the doors open "SUPRISE!!'' from everypony in the room. Eclipse just stared and fell over onto her back Twilight walked up to her daughter and she didn't get the response she was looking for but was happy when Eclipse said "BEST SUPRISE EVER!!!!'' Eveypony laughed and then they proceeded with the birthday party.
When the party ended Spike walked over to his little sister and gave her his present and said "E.S I knew you got your cutie mark awhile ago but I wanted to give you this...'' He said giving his sister a black necklace like the rest of her regalia but the gems that were in it were rubies made to look like her shield (cutie mark). Eclipse gasped and took the necklace and put it on and then hugged Spike and kissed him. "It's enchanted to grow as you grow figured it'll be a cute thing for you even thought you don't like wearing your regalia often.'' Spike said as he tried to get out of his sister's grasp.
It was already time to go to sleep but Eclipse and Lighting couldn't sleep, "I guess this is what we get for telling scary stories before the party right Lighty?'' Eclipse said as she laid in her bed looking to the celing "Yea we deserved it.'' Lighting said with a chuckle "We should try to get some sleep though.'' Eclipse said "Yeah well night Shine.'' "Night Purple.''
