He helped me with every move. I could barely walk. My hooves were soar. My flank hurt from my gash. Yet I was determined to get out of this hell hole.
My coat was matted and dirty. Reds' is the same. We stopped a while later and found a small pond. First Red cleaned off his coat and mane the best he could, then helped me with mine. He re-bandaged my leg and hooves.
We finally went back on the trail out of the forest.
I enjoyed the scenery on our little walk. The green and brown. Then the occasional blue or red flower. Sometimes even a purple flower. I enjoyed the sent of wild life and seeing squirrels climb trees. And hearing the occasional monkey or bird. I thought that Fluttershy would love this place. I know I did, whether or not it broke me down and spit me out.
Finally after at least an hour of walking, we finally broke in the sunlight. I saw a road. I saw grass and few trees. I smelled it and took in the fresh air. No more moistness and moldiness. I started to tear up in joy. My eye's filled up and let loose, and so did Reds'. I started to laugh thinking it wasn't true. Thinking I was dreaming.
"Pinch me... I'm dreaming..." I said quietly.
"Oh my Celestia... We are free." He looked at me in a sheepish look, and blushed. I returned with a smile and giggle.
He pulled me close and kissed me again. This time it was a freedom kiss. The kiss that I wanted the entire time. The romantic, long, sweet kiss I've died for from him. Even if it wasn't in the rain, I loved it so much.
He pulled back and looked me in the eye's. "I love you." He said it plain out there. With a smile and a love in his eyes.
"I love you to. I do." I replied. I smiled, blushed, and giggled. "Take me home?" I asked him.
He looked at me and laughed.
"Why not?"
