The year was 3047 in the human world, and we had reached almost every corner of the universe. colonizing planets, depleting resources, and enslaving alien life forms. oh yes we were at the climax of our society. starting in the year 2014 with the discovery of the atrium human technology expanded faster than anyone could have ever predicted. by 2020 we had colonies on every habitable planet in our solar system. by 2050 we had already reached the nearest galaxy. we had left our home planet in hopes of finding more resources in space but there two were limits to the resources of the universe. by the year 3022 we had nearly depleted the universe supply of oxygen. we new we had to do something and fast if we were going to survive. we were on the brink of extinction when a visit to a long dead planet yielded a surprising find. a strange mineral dead in the core of the planet.
it surged with bio-genetic energy as if it were alive.we knew it wasn't from this universe as it had a strange habit of spewing out random chunks of matter. sometimes a diamond sometimes a rock sometimes a grilled cheese sandwich. we named the rock alpha-minera 2056. at first we believed it to be some sort of worm hole connected to the past. but soon its true origin was revealed. in 3034 the alpha-minera 2056's energy was concentrated into a focused point and created a portal. not to the past but to an entirely new universe all together.
the entire world emanated with the same energy as alpha-minera 2056. and was populated with sentient equestrian beings that had a similar DNA make up as horses. after "interrogating" several of the inhabitants we came to know this place as Equestria. over the next 13 years we researched Equestria and its inhabitants as much we could. we even went so far as to compile a small history of there world. although this world had many of the same creatures as ours there physical structure was different, and all animals seemed to be sentient on some level. but one species of creature help presence over all others. the equestrian rulers of the world known as ponies.
there were four main types of ponies. pegasi had wings in which they could fly. they also seemed to have a special ability to walk on and manipulate weather. the unicorns had horns protruding from there heads and seemed to be able to manipulate the very fabric of reality with there will. alicorns which had both wings and a horn, and earth ponys which had neither wings nor horns. all sub-species of pony could interbreed and did so frequently. after we had compiled all this information we decided it was time to start our conquest of this new land. and so in 3047 we sent the first wave of human invaders through the portal to begin our conquest.
because we studied the new land so extensively we knew that if we wee to defeat the pony forces we would have to get rid of there governing bodies. princesses Luna and Celestia. these two ponys were the source of day and night. they made there sun and moon rise and fall every night. they were also the most powerful of the ponys. being the only known alicorns in Equestria. if we could take them out then there was only one other thing that could stop us. the elements of harmony. the governing forces in this universe. they were wielded by six friends. 40,000 human troops marched through the portal into what the ponys called the ever free forest. all heavily armed and willing to kill anyone or anything.
Fluttershy was the first to encounter us. she was a timid pony about average size with a pink mane and yellow coat. we new her to be one of the holders of the elements of harmony so without hesitation we executed her. we marched into a town called ponyville with the dead ponys body. we planned on using it as a point of intimidation. we stopped in the middle of this very colorful town to deliver our message, our promise of war. the ponys gathered round our massive army. the last five holders of the elements of harmony gathered in a group. strangely none of the ponys seemed scared in the least. they seemed more in awe of us. there eyes filled with curiosity. one little pony which later i came to know as Scootaloo jumped up by us and asked in a condescending manner,"what do you jokers want?". instantly the nearest of our solders slammed a fist against her sending flying through the crowd of ponys. after seeing this act of cruelty the ponys went into a panic. out of nowhere a thundering voice came from within our ranks. it was our general. he stepped out in front of us and began to speak.
"you ponys! the rulers of Equestria. you have held this land in your possession since its creation. you have mastered the art of flight and are able to bend reality with your understanding of 'magic'. you are the supreme being of this land of infinite resources. however it is time for your reign over this world to end. we humans claim this world for man kind, and we will kill anyone who stands in our way. even your precious princesses. we have already claimed the life of one of the holders of the elements of harmony". at this the solder carrying the body of Fluttershy stepped forward and dropped her on the ground. the faces of of the ponys changed from simple fear to terror and disgust. "if you wish this to be your fate then challenge us". he continued, "if you wish to live in peace under our rule then surrender now". suddenly the remaining holders of the elements of harmony stepped.
a purple unicorn named twilight stepped forward and said, "over our dead bodys!" she then proceeded to shoot some sort of beam out of her horn. most of the solders in the path of the beam were able to get out of the way or block it but i wasn't so lucky. i felt the energy surge through my body as if i was struck by lightning but worse. i fell back on the ground and lay staring up at my fellow soldiers. i couldn't move. i watched through blurred vision as my comrades began there assault on ponyville. my body grew even weaker as i watched that blue sky fade into a black haze as i fell uncounsouce.
i awoke in a strange hut. the room was filled with strange artifacts that resembled that of the African culture.i was lying on a wooden table with ropes tied around my limbs. suddenly in walked four ponys. i recognized them immediately. they were all holders of the elements of harmony. twilight sparkle, rainbow dash, applejack, and rarity. i recognized twilight first because she was the one who had knocked me unconscious. i was instantly filled with rage. you! i ripped the ropes off and leaped off the table. i went for twilight. she tried to fire another spell but was to slow. i grabbed her by the throat and slammed her against the wall. i looked into her eyes and said, "your species is week". her eyes were starting to shut, but before they did a purple glow began to emanate from her horn. suddenly i was thrown backwards by an unknown force. as i law paralyzed on the ground with three ponys staring at me judgmentally, i began to have visions. i saw my home world dead. and the land of equestria in a shroud of darkness. ponys enslaved grovelling in filth. i saw a tyrant of a dictator. a human. and then i felt the pain of the poor pony we had already killed. i felt the bullet pierce my heart and blood drain from my veins. i felt the pain of a human fist as hit smashed against my skull as it did to Scootaloo. i felt the pain of my entire species dying in our universe void of any resources. i felt the pain of every pony in Equestria under human rule.i felt both emotional pain and physical. i cried out in agony and begged the ponys to grant me death. suddenly the pain was gone. i was back in the real world. i i was suddenly aware of two more equestrians in the room. i looked over and i saw the young pony Scootaloo on a table with bandage around her wing and a zebra mending her wound.
i looked back up to see rainbow dash helping twilight up. she walked over to me and i bowed my head and begged for forgiveness. "please spare me i know my kind seems to be barbarians but i beg for you to give me mercy".
She looked down at me and sighed." i know you are not like the others of your kind but we needed to show you your true nature. i could tell from the way your eyes darted back in forth when you were in formation that you were afraid, not for yourself but for your species. i know you are afraid but if either of our worlds are going to be in piece again then you need to tell me why you have come to dominate our land." i looked deep in her eyes and somewhere deep inside i knew that they needed my help. i told them everything. from the discovery of alpha-minera 2056 to the depletion of our universe resources. i told of how our world was fighting a losing battle against our consumption of resources and how we planned to use the resources we found in this world to sustain ourselves. i told them everything.
