Blueblood sat in his private car the dirt road causing it to bounce, in his hooves was the small chest containing the alicorn amulet, after months of searching and tearing apart the Everfree Forest his prize glowed a dark crimson, he could feel the power coursing through him even though it was sitting in the box. he looked outside to see the sun high in the sky,
"The suns a bit bright today, no?" Blueblood's adviser said looking out the window as well.
"Agreed, I thought we told Flim to tell the princess to keep it darker as to hide the troop movements."
"We did sir, maybe he is having a change of heart after Flams demise?" The adviser said trying to give a reason.
"He would never DARE cross me, SUPREME COMMANDER BLUEBLOOD!" He said holding the tiny chest up, "and with this, nopony, not even Celestia herself could stop me!"
"S-s-sir? I thought the amulet had negative side effects, you sure it's a good idea to use it without proper research from our scientists?"
"Nonsense!" he said blowing off the advisers comment and placing the amulet around his neck, feeling the power coursing through his veins he then charged his horn up, the adviser panicked at the realization that she was the target, a red glow formed around his horn, "I found the perfect test subject right here!" he then shot the beam at the mare but before it could make contact the car violently flipped over, Blueblood gathered his bearings and looked up to see the rest of his convoy burned smoldering ash, the truck nothing but frames, and through the fire he saw the sight he never expected he would see, Celestia, her wings flared, a expression of pure rage and eyes with a greenish haze.
"A-a-a-auntie?" Blueblood said in fear at the sight of the Alicorn,
"ADDRESS ME AS YOUR QUEEN!" Queen Celestia barked using the royal Canterlot voice
"H-How!?" Blueblood fearfully asked.
"Find out about your little plan?" She let out a smirk, and in her normal voice she stated "I knew from the beginning, I just waited until you had what i wanted." Her voice then turned cold and her eyes shot to the amulet, "Hand it over."
"Never!" He said jumping onto four hooves, charging his horn he shot an empowered beam at Celestia, The Queen stood her ground until the very last second and with a blur of light she moved out of the way, Blueblood saw this and made a whiplash with the beam the power causing the trees on the roadside to explode into a flurry of splinters, the frames of the trucks were sliced in half, yet the princess evaded it with ease then with a charge of her own horn a sickly green and black aura covered her eyes and horn and four crystals shot out of the ground stabbing Blueblood in the legs and holding him up so he was face to face with Celestia, using the crystals she forced him to remove the amulet and hand it to her. Then placing it around her neck, suddenly the sun changed to a blood red.
"Dark magic, but you outlawed its practice!" Blueblood said coughing up blood,
"I am a GOD, I AM ABOVE EVEN MY OWN DECREES!" she said the once kind princess all but a memory in Bluebloods head.
"What happened to you auntie?" tears welling up in his eyes.
"THE WAR HAPPENED!"
The now the wounded prince tried to talk some sense into his aunt,
"Please, Auntie, d-don't do this, you're under some sort of spell, something, THIS ISN'T YOU!"
"THIS IS THE FUTURE, THIS IS MY WORLD, AND I WILL HAVE PEACE, I WILL HAVE ORDER, AND THE WORLD WILL FALL IN LINE OR I WILL DESTROY THEM!" The eyes glowed a sold color as a green and red flame licked from them, an aura of power could be seen radiating from her. Then she leaned closer to Blueblood,
"Tell me where my sister so I can end this war once and for all.."
Blueblood realized he was at deaths door, his life flashing before his eyes, realizing he had done nothing but wrong in his life he figured he would at least do ONE thing right.
"Buck...OFF!" he said snorting and spitting right in the corrupted Celestia's face.
"IF YOU DON'T WISH TO TELL ME I WILL FIND OUT WITH FORCE!" She screamed flaring her horn she shot a beam at Bluebloods forehead, digging through his thoughts she found the information she was looking for she cut the connection, a look of horror was plastered on the now dead Blueblood.
"It's a shame you didn't see things my way.." She said as she teleported away from the carnage and into the bunker, a crater stood on the ground right beside the large map, a bloodstained bowtie lied on the ground.
"E." She said looking at the map.
"Yes Ma'am?" The pony said fearfully as Celestia jabbed a spear right into the middle of the water.
"Send the Warbirds here, no survivors.."
"Ma'am?"
"DID I STUTTER!? NOW GO!" She screamed at the general causing him to scramble to the comms. room and relay the orders to the army. Celestia walked through the bunker looking at the various ponies at their stations, she could feel the fear, she loved its smell, its taste. She knew it was only a matter of time before ponies felt a change of heart, when they would stand up against her, but she had anticipated this, walking into a extremly spacious warehouse holding hundreds of upgraded copperheads, Warbirds, and guardian tanks, each with extra weapons and large gyroscopic rings instead of places for pilots, with a flare of her now amulet empowered horn she shot a prism on the roof of the room causing it to strike every unmanned war machine, the Gyroscopic rings spun alive with a crimson aura in the center, screeching to life the machines roared an unnatural scream. With a nod, the unmanned machines made their way out of the exit.
"Now we let the end begin.."
