Pain, that's all I felt at the moment. A head splinting to be more exact. It felt that my head got run over by a car instantly when I regained consciousness. That might be a bit over exaggeration because it felt as a got kicked really hard in the face. Maybe a curb stomp, who knows. All I know is that I am in pain and it is hard to move. I try with what will power I have at the moment to force my eyes open. The mere second I do, I got blind from the intense shine from the sun which adds insult to injury because of my already aching head. I have to force my eyes shut for the moment to try filter the light so my eyes can adjust. When I feel that enough time has pasted, I open my eyes again to see nothing but blue skies.' What! You have got to be kidding me. I slept outside for the entire night and my mom didn't pick me up great. Takes for the love' I thought bitterly. I lay there for a few minutes to try to get my head ache under control, but to no avail. Until I realize that I have some ibuprofen in my bag. I thank God and all out there for somehow convincing me to put it in there. When searching through my bag, I come across a bottle of powerade. "Where did this come from?" I wonder out loud. "More importantly, how come I didn't notice this last night at practice. I was really fucking thirsty." I guess it doesn't matter right know since I need to solve my pain dilemma. I twist the cap and take four pills just fun good measure. While letting the medicine do its magic, I take a better look at my surroundings. The first thing I notice is that I didn't wake up at the soccer complex. I woke up in what appears to be the outskirts of a suburban town. The next thing I notice is how damn colorful everything is, I mean seriously it's so bright and every color is solid with no indication of fading to a different color like it was made for a cartoon or something. " Now I'm confused. Where the hell am I?" I guess there is not point in being frustrated and the logical thing to do is find help and quick because it seems to be later in the day. 'I suppose suppose I should see what time it is' I thought. I went to retrieve my iPod to check the time, and when I do it says it's 4:30 P.M. The next thing I notice is that my iPod is fully charged. " Now how in the world did that happen?" I said aloud. " It's going to get dark soon, so I guess I should walk into town. Man this sucks. Life why are you so cruel sometimes." And with that I started my trek into town.

" Ugh! why does walking have to be so boring. How come I just had to wake up so far. I mean it wouldn't have killed yeah to at least to put me closer." I said out loud. I wanted to continue my tirade about my misfortune given to me by something called life when I heard a voice call out to me.
"Um excuse me, but do you need help?"
I slowly turn around to see who spoke to me, and say me being surprised would be an understatement. I suppose shell shocked could be more appropriate. The person standing before me was none other than Twilight Sparkle, yes thee Twilight Sparkle, but she was human in essence and with her was her trusted assistant I assume was Spike but he was a figgin' dog for Christ sake. It took a lot of my will power not to laugh my ass of at him. 'Wait a damn minute, spike being a dog and Twilight a human. That means.... OH MY GOD. I'm in equestria girls. This is amazing, I actually get to speak to my favorite character from the show. Hold up... that also means that she is a princess now. Aw I can't go on some of their better adventures. Now outside of my mind, Twilight is just standing there. ' I haven't seen this person before, so I suppose he is new in town. Wait why hasn't he answered yet. Is he staring at me? I starting to get a little discomfort from this' she thinks to herself.
I didn't notice that she was waiting for my answer. I didn't know what to say. Then I notice that I was staring at her. Oh God this is uncomfortable and I can tell that she is starting to get some discomfort. So I chalk myself up and say " Um... yes I actually need some help. You see I don't know where I am since I managed to wake up on the out skirts of town. And what makes matters worse is that I am extremely hungry right now. Oh and sorry if I was causing you some discomfort by staring, it's just that I was thinking deeply at the moment and managed not to notice what I was doing" I said.
"Oh, no worries it's fine and yes I would like to help you mister.." she said. " Lawrence but you can call me Trey and no mister please since I don't like the formalities involved I said .
"Oh okay," Twilight started " If we are going to introduce our selves than allow me. I am Twilight Sparkle and this is my assistant Spike."
"Wait spikes your assistant, but how he's a dog?" I asked back. Twilight started to shift her eyes back an forth desperately seeking and answer. " I.. ur.. um.." started to think of an excuse when I cut her off.
" I say I am impressed if your have a dog as your assistant. That means that he has a pretty high IQ for a canine." I said
Twilight quickly said" yes exactly, My spike here is amazingly intelligent which means that he can help me."
"Help you with what?" I ask in return. Now I do know why Twilight is acting so nervous is because Spike can talk, but she can't let anyone know about that.
" he...um... helps me around the house. Yeah that's it, helps me around the house by cleaning up messes." she says with a little haste and tries to muster up a believing smile. I look at her curiously before giving her a believing smile and replying.
" Wow, I wish I had a talented dog like him." With that that response I visibly saw a heavy burden lifted off her shoulders and a smug smile on Spikes face for being complemented.
"Well now that is over, I don't know if a can solve your first problem, but I can solve your second one. Right now I am going to attend the Fall Formal. I can take you there and you can have some of the food that's provided" she said.
'Wait, fall formal. That means that she is going back tonight, back to equestria. I will have to follow her, so I can find a way home maybe by gaining some assistance from the Princess' I was interrupted by Twilight asking me something.
" Excuse me, but did you say something Twilight?" I ask. "Yes, I said ' Would you like to join me at the Fall Formal" she retorted.
"Uhh... yes I would like to come with you if you don't see that as an inconvenience." I answer with a little weariness.
" Yes, that's wonderful. Now you can meet all my friends such as Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie. It's going to be Great" she said with a little too much enthusiasm. She grabbed my hand and started running off with me in tow.
We continued running for a good ten minutes until we arrived at what I assumed to be the school. It's looks pretty nice with it being two stories tall. It looks like a school in which only the wealthy would attend, at least in my opinion. We had to stop and catch our breath, she more than me since I am used to running during practice.
"Okay *pant* the formal has already *pant* started, so once we compose our selves *pant* we will go inside, alright" she stated.
"Sounds like a fine plan to me. Alright *pant* when you are ready, just give the sigh and will go in." I said. Once she was fine and stopped panting, she gestured me to follow her into the building. Once inside, we walked through the hallways leading to the gym. All the while, I was admiring the fine detail of the school. In was indeed better designed than my school and a lot better sight for the eyes. We continued walking until Twilight told me to stop since we are just out side of it.
"Now," Twilight started " There are some people here that can get a little overly excited when there is a new person to meet, namely Pinkie Pie, so try to stay calm if she comes off as a little strong."
"Alright and thank you for the advice. It'll probably save my butt in the long haul" I joked. Twilight giggled. Yes, I actually made a girl laugh in some form by a joke. THIS. IS. AMAZING.
"Now," I start while opening the door to the gym. " Your party awaits you Miss Sparkle" I said with posh-ish ring in my voice.
" My what a gentleman you are 'Sir Lawrence'" she said with a little giggle. She entered through the door with me right behind her. Once I entered I got to see the formal in all of its glory. I mean it looked amazing. There is plenty a lights, a DJ with a real turntable, plenty of food and beverages, and a decent amount of party goers. Twilight was leading me through the crowd when she heard a familiar voice ( familiar to me also, but I can't tell them that not yet that is.). When she turned to the source she was greeted with a familiar cyan human/pegasus with an all to familiar cowgirl/cowpony.
"Hey Twilight whats up" Rainbow said as she walked over.
"Howdy Twahlight, hows it goin'" Applejack asked with that all to familiar southern-accent.
"Hello girls, I would like you to meet my new friend Trey. he just arrived here today in fact." Twilight said.
" H-hello. I'm-m Trey. Nice to meet you girls" I said with slight nervousness in my voice.
" Well howdy there partner, I sure do like makin' new friends, and if your a friend o' Twahlight's, then your o' friend of mine" she said whilst taking my hands and shaking them vigorously.
"HHHhiiiiii tttheeir AAAppleJJaccck nnnicee tto mmeeet yyouu" I said while receive the shaking of a life time.
"Yo, I'm Rainbow Dash, Athlete extraordinaire. I run track and cross county, play soccer and basketball. And swim competitively." She said with much pride and boastfulness.
"sup, Rainbow. I also play soccer and swim competitively. But I have to give props when give since you can kind handle some many sports." I say while giving her a small clap.
"Well..uh..thank you' she says with a small blush adoring her cheeks. 'That's strange. I didn't think that Rainbow was one to get flustered one given complements' I thought. What I didn't notice were the three others that started to approach our little group while I was think.
"Why hello darling" a posh voice said. I turned my head to see where it came from. it came from none other than Rarity. I hope she doesn't complain about me being in a 'soccer' uniform, which I suppose she will refer to as 'horrible'.
"We were all wondering when you were going to show up to the formal" shes says. "oh who is this fine gentleman?" she asks while batting her eye lashes. 'What the hell was that about' I thought.
"Well," Twilight started "This is ..." She didn't get to finish her sentence because Rarity interrupted her. " Now darling, I do believe that this fine gentleman can introduce himself don't you suppose" Twilight looked at me with sorrowful eyes. 'Why would she have the need to feel sorry about something so simple' I thought. "It's fine Twilight" I said with a smile. She perked up immediately and returned the smile with as much force as mine.
"Now," I start " My name is Lawrence, but you can refer to me as Trey if you wish, Lady Rarity" I state with a short bow.
"My, my so you are a true gentleman, and I shall refer to you as Lawrence if that is alright with you?" she asks. "That is quite fine because I did state that it is your wish to choose, Lady Rarity" I state again with a slight bow.
"Yes wonderful since I do like your name, it sounds so sophisticated" she says with a slight blush. " yes I also think that is a wonderful name;however, I am still calling you Trey" says Twilight with a slight blush as well. 'Okay what is with all the blushing, I mean seriously they can't get that flustered that easily can they' I think. Now I didn't notice, but Spike was giving me the stink eye the entire time I was speaking to Rarity.
I wanted to remain talking to the others but a pink blur rushed and hugged me so hard that I could barely breath. "HIMYNAMESPINKIEPIEIHAVEN'TSEENYOUBEFOREANDIFIHAVEN'TSEENYOUBEFORETHENTHATMUSTMEANTHATYOUARENEWANDIFYOUARENEWTHENTHATMEANSTHATYOUMUSTNOTHAVEANYFRIENDSANDWITHOUTFRIENDSYOUMUSTGETLONELYANDWHENYOUARELONELYTHENYOUNUSTGETSADANDYOUGETSADTHENIGETSADBUTYOUWON'TGETSADBECAUSEIAMGOINGTOBEYOURBESTFRIENDFOREVER!!!!!!!" Pinkie Pie says all in one breath. All the while I am losing oxygen and fast.
"Pinkie let him go, can't you see he can't breath" Twilight says. Pinkie lets you down and takes a few steps back with a HUGE smile plastered across her face.
"Nice to meet *pant* you Pinkie *pant* and yes I already have *pant* a few friends" I said while gesturing to the rest of the group.
"Yeah, that's super-fantastic-rific that you already have friends and now were going to be BEST-FRIENDS-FOREVER!!"
Pinkie says with her energetic personality.
"Oh would you like one of my amazingly-terrific-pinkie pie cupcakes?" she asks. I was about to answer her when my stomach grumbled causing the girls to giggle and rainbow to laugh.
"I guess that's answers that, but do you have a vanilla cupcake with strawberry icing?" I ask sheepishly. This gets another round of giggling and laughter from Rainbow. Pinkie speeds off to go get the cupcake while Twilight speaks up:
"Um Girls isn't there someone that we are missing"she asks to no one in particular. " Ah think that were missin' Fluttershy" said Applejack. The rest of the girls nodded in agreement.
"Who's Fluttershy" I ask no one in particular. " Oh Fluttershy is one of our other friends and one that completes our group" Twilight says in a matter-of-fact tone. " what does she look like?" you ask. Rainbow speaks up and says" Fluttershy has butter cream skin and has long pink hair."
With that description a start to scan the crowd going left to right trying to search for hear until I notice hear sitting in a corner all by her lonesome self. " Is that her over there" i say whilst pointing in her direction. Everyone's head turned and took notice of her.
"Should we go over there and greet her while also allowing me to introduce myself" I ask. " That sounds like a wonderful idea darling" rarity says " We shall make haste to our dear friend." Everyone nodded with determination in their eyes(well except for me at least).
We all started to make our way over to Fluttershy, while that is happening I was contemplating about what I will say to fluttershy that will make her feel more open around me. ' I suppose I can talk about animals that would help me win so major points in gaining her friendship' I thought. when I stopped my mental discussion, we already arrived to where fluttershy was and she has already been greeted to by her friends. I can already tell she is shying away from me (pun intended *pinches metaphorical bridge of nose and sighs*)
"Hello I'm Trey, it's very nice to meet you miss..." you state with carefulness.
"I'm-m fluttershy" she mummers but I still caught it. " Fluttershy that is a beautiful name" I state with sincere honesty.
"Oh..um.. thank..you for the complement." she says only slightly louder. ' This is getting me no were, I suppose I should prepare for the onslaught that is 'hurricane fluttershy' I think to myself.
"I notice that you have I rabbit with you, does that mean you like animals?" you asks already knowing the answer.
"Oh yes I love animals off all kind" she says as she perked up. " Well Fluttershy, I also enjoy animals, I have even managed to rescue quite a bit over the years."
" Oh my that is wonderful, what kind of animals did you save" she asked with new inspired confidence. "Well," I start " I have save at least eight turtles, a few dogs, a couple birds, a few rabbits, and even an armadillo." She looked at me with a sincere smile and said "That is quite the variety, you should be proud." I was about to comment when I was interrupted by Pinkie Pie bringing me a few cupcakes and a glass of what I assume is fruit punch. i just hope there is no alcohol.
"Thank you Pinkie, this was very nice of you" I state with a simile. "Of course silly, I would do anything to make my friends happy" she says with a BIG smile.
We continued talking to one another, speaking about trivial things such as life( that bastard is always out to get me. I swear). We would have kept going if we weren't interrupted by someone speaking through a microphone. We stopped to listen to the announcement.
"Hello everyone, How are you enjoying your Fall Formal" she asks the crowd. the roared and cheered in response. " That is nice to hear. Now the crown shall be awarded in thirty minutes. Now gone back to want your were doing. Thank You." With that the announcer left the stage.
" Thirty minutes, why I'm so bored right now. What to do? Oh what to do" I pondered. "Daring are you bored with talking to US" Rarity said with mock insult and disappointment if I heard correctly. " what no speaking to you all is not boring, its more like I the music is boring me. This is supposed to be a party in essence" I explained.
"So what are you going to do about it" she said with a hint of sarcasm. "I don't know maybe change the music" I deadpanned.
"Fine" she said with resignation. "Don't worry your pretty little faces, I'm gonna show this place what real party music is." I said with determination. I got up and left, but not before I saw blushes on all their faces except Pinkie since she's Pinkie.
I walked over to the DJ and who you expect to be there non-other than DJ PON-3 or vinyl scratch your choice.
"Sup' she says " Ya hear to complement my sweet sounding bass' and stuff."
"yeah... no. I think you songs are pretty weak. I'm can't believe you call this stuff techno. WEAK" I say.
She looks at me in shock and lets he shades to fall down so you can see her eyes. It's pretty to watch as she tries to come to terms with what I said. Finally she musters up some confidence and says "What did you just say"
I repeat my self again and she still looks shocked, then she smirks. I 'm seriously I just insulted your DJ skills and you smirk at me. Now it's my turn to be shocked, but only mildly.
" So you think you can play better music than me, I guess we'll have to see what you got" Vinyl said. " I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but your gonna eat those words, just let me hook up the beat and you sit back and relax." I said with a smirk. I then got behind the booth and hooked up my iPod. I thought I should start off with something good.music
Once the song was over I look over to vinyl to see a shocked expression etched on her face. " What did I tell you, what did I tell. I told toy to eat those words and by damn I gonna make sure" I say with a shit-eating grin. I turn my head and look to the crowd and take notice of all their shocked expressions.'Wow' I thought ' These people do not like real techno. I guess I can show them some progressive.'
"Okay" I mummer to myself "Round two is a go" I say louder for others to hear.

Once the song starts to pick up, I turn to vinyl and say "Progressive House gotta love it right" I smile to her and return my attention back to the station. 'Next I gonna show vinyl and to drop the bass. I think a little disconnected is in order if I do say so myself. Once the song ended, everyone seemed to visibly relax. "Hey vinyl" I say. She turns and looks at me " I gonna show how to truly drop the bass." I think I saw her gulp, but probably just my imagination.

The beginning of the song is fairly soft, but it starts to pick up the intensity and volume as the song progresses. I notice when the song quiet all of a sudden, and starts to pick up with the words. Brace yourselves, the drop is coming. I turn to vinyl and mouth the count down 'Three....Two...One...'
And I yell "Base Drop"
With the song coming to a close, I look out to the crowd and notice a lot of smiling faces. Mission accomplished.
Strange, how come no one is cheering. That's a cruel joke. 'I have an idea and this is the best time to perform it.' I thought.
I return my attention to the crowd, gotta take the leap of faith as others put it.
"Are you not entertained" Still silence. Wait... for it and NOW! " Is this not what you wanted?" I yell. At that instance the crowd broke into a full cheer. It felt great for them to like it. I raised my hand up to get their attention and they did as instructed. "Now I have one more song for you. Its one of my favorites and I hope you enjoy it" I say. I look through my iPod until if find the song, man is this gonna be good.

When the song ended everyone was cheering like crazy 'I bet they didn't most of those references in the song' I thought to myself. I started to disconnect my iPod from the station so I can go back to my friends. I was about to get up and leave when vinyl came up to me.
"yes vinyl, what do you want" I ask "Cause right now I want to back over to where my friends are sitting." She looks at me, takes off he glasses and kisses my, not on the check or the nose, oh no she kisses my right on the lips and by George did it feel fine.
When we (namely her) separate from the kiss, she says " That's for given me some new inspiration for some new songs."After that said she winks at me and walks away. I was surprised, confused, and satisfied to say the least. Her lips were really soft and there was a little heat behind it so not bad for a first kiss. With that said( or thought), I walk back over to the Mane 6 to see there reactions.
"Hey girls, you like the music?" I ask them with curiosity.
"Yeah that was awesome especially that last song '20 percent cooler' has a pretty nice ring to it don'tcha think" Rainbow says.
"It was amazing. It was all like wub, wub, wub and stuff like that" Pinkie says excitedly. "I don't think my songs went wub wub, but I get what you are trying to say, so Thank you Pinkie" I say in return.
"Yes it was quite nice , if I do say so myself, but I think that type of music is not for me." Rarity said. 'I guess I should have suspected as much coming from a person that requires sophistication. All the same, at least she enjoyed it even if minimal at best.
"Now ah wouldn't saw I didn't enjoy this here music, but ah can't see myself really listin' to it." Applejack said with a sorrowful look on her face. "It's fine Applejack, no biggie and at least you gave me you honest opinion so thank you for what it's worth." I say with a somewhat forced smile. In reality I was a little saddened by this 'new found revelation', but I suppose you can't please everybody.
"I kind of liked it, but it was really to loud that is if you don't mind me saying is all" she said in a whisper. (Dawwww so adorable) "No it's fine Fluttershy you have the right to speak your mind, and believe it or not I really don't like it so loud either but since it's a party whatta' gonna do right" I say trying to comfort her. I guess my response helped somewhat since she seems more relaxed now.
"I liked the music for the most part. It wouldn't be something I would listen to daily per say, but all the same I did enjoy it. So Thank you" Twilight said with a smile. (Damn that smile is adorable.) "Yes thank you" the other girls said in response.
"Well your welcome than, only if I could have plea-" I was cut short by the announcer from before speaking up again. " Welcome everyone I hope you are enjoying yourselves" A round of applause was her answer."Now if I can all your attention, I would like to crown the winner of this years Fall Formal" she says. " Could you dim the lights please?" Lights are dimmed in response " yes thank you, now the moment of truth, who will be this years winner, and the winner is none other than our very own....."
Everyone was visible on the edge of their metaphorical seats you know because they are standing.
"Twilight Sparkle" The announcer cheered. The crowd roared with applause for their winner. I thought I heard I shrieked' what' but that was probably my mind wandering again. By the time that I was done with that whole mind debacle. Twilight was up on stage accepting her crown. All her friends are standing of to the side with Spike right next to them. How did I not notice all of them walk over there. Yeah, I think I can be pretty oblivious sometimes.
Twilight started her victory speech "Thank you for this wonderful opportunity, and I would like to thank my friends for all the help I -" she was cut off when we heard a dog start to whine. We looked over to Spike to see him being kidnapped...er dognapped. I was shocked, but not as much as the girls. They were all standing there for a few seconds before they started running after the dognapper(s).
I just stood there like an idiot for a good minute, until a broke of into a full sprint. 'Wow some friend I am . I mean seriously I should have followed them immediately.' I continued running until I came to the entrance of the school to see the Mane 6 confronting Sunset Shimmer. It looked like she had given up her little tirade until broke out into a sprint and tackled Twilight which in turn flung the crown off her head. And guess what lucky Bastard it just so happened to land in front off.
Everyone turned to see me bend over and pick up the crown and hold it in my grasp. Sunset saw me and started to try to convince to hand over the crown.
"Would please be nice and hand over the crown to it's rightful owner" she said with false happiness.
Now I did hear her, but I just going see how long it takes to annoy the shit out of her. "What, you say something" I state with false confusion.
"I said 'could you be nice and give the crown to it's rightful owner' she said with I little more force. Good she starting to lose her temper.
"Na, I not gonna be nice and I see what you are trying to do. You are hinting at to give the crown to you because you think you deserve it. Well I got some bad news, you weren't voted to be the winner and in Democracy it's the people decide if you are a proper candidate. So suck it" I say with a little smirk.
"Why you little" she says while lunging at me. I kind of foresaw this and I side stepped so she would fly past me. "If you want it than your gonna have to catch me' I say while turning and going into a full off sprint. Sunset quickly got up and started to pursuit, while the girls only stood and watched. Rainbow was the first to speak up " what the hay just happened"
"I don't know," Twilight started " But I'm not going to stand around and not help our friend. Come on Girls" I group of nods were her only answer and with that they started to give chase.

I continue running, but not without looking over my shoulder to she Sunset gaining and fast. "Damn this Bitch is fast, I need to think of something to lose her" I say. What I didn't notice is that I was running in to a corner effectively trapping myself. When I turn my head back around, I immediately come to a halt since I almost run into a wall 'well shit. This is just great' I think to myself.
by this time Sunset has already caught up to me and is wearing a devilish smile on her face. 'Damn that's creepy' I muse to myself.
"Hand me the crown or else" she snaps. "or else what your going to keep being a complete and utter bitch" I retort with a smirk.
"Fine, your choice. So any last words" she asks thinking she already knows the answer. " yes actually just two" I say with a little excitement.
"And what would those two words be" she says just to humor me. "Oh I don't know just 'HARDCORE PARKOUR'
She looks at me with confusion until I leap to one wall push off and jump over. I land on the ground while tumbling so I don't get hurt. I quickly pick myself up and start to run of in the distance where I see the girls approaching.
I continue running until I reach them were I quickly give the crown back to Twilight. " here Twilight I got your crown" I say in between pants. She thanks me and quickly puts it on. Now this is about the time that Twilight and the girls go into a little speech about the magic of friendship and all that jazz. I don't know I was still trying to catch my breath.
When I finally caught it, I notice that Sunset transformed into a demon spawn or something. All I have to say is damn that bitch is ugly.
While I was thinking the girls are powering up their 'elements of harmony', sunset thought it would be a perfect time to strike. Lucky for them I saw this. She was about to hit the girls when I pounced on her. She started shrieking for me to 'get off' while also bucking like a bull at a rodeo. It was crazy. With my help, the girls had enough time to power up and shoot a damn rainbow at her. The rainbow started to enclose her and me in a torrent of colors. It got to the point in which she literally exploded.I still don't see how I survived but I did, but I did get flung over to the mirror while sustaining heavy injuries.
The girls were celebrating until they noticed that I was not with them. Fluttershy was the first to spot me and they all rushed over to my location.
"Oh my you are seriously hurt please don't move I mean if that is alright with you" she says. "Ha that's funny, moving who ever thought of such a thing" I say to try to lighten the mood with a little humor.
The rest of the girls were standing right behind her waiting to see how bad I am. Fluttershy stands up and begins to speak.
