The walk to the market didn't take that long, in fact Bon Bon and I arrived at the market in less then 2 minutes. I followed Bon Bon as she looked through a few stalls, looking for the pasta that we required. After a few moments walking, we came to a stall that sold a variety of pasta's. Some I recognized: Spaghetti, macaroni, ravioli and those weird spiral pasta's. Bon Bon looked up at me, with a smile on her face.
"So what kind do you think we should get?" She asked. I though for a moment, considering the possibilities.
"Hmm...how about the ravioli. What's the middle filled with?" I stated, the pony, who had a dark green coat and brown hair, running the stand looked at me with a smile that told me she knew the contents of the ravioli.
"The ravioli has a nice daffodil and vegetable paste, that when cooked, give it a firm yet creamy texture." The pony stated while waving a hoove over the pasta in question. Bon Bon "ohhed" over the pasta as he continued to explained the other variety of fillings for ravioli and the other types he had on display. I let Bon Bon pick the pasta, since my pasta interest was only as far as 'cook, eat and eat more'. As the two conversed over the pasta, I decided to walk around the market.
I viewed many of the stalls and merchandise: A few fruit stands, a couple of vegetable stands, a vender selling a few necklaces, one selling giant jars of jam with a pony nearly orgasming0 in the jam.
"Ya...that's odd." I whispered to myself as I pasted by. I was a few feet away when I heard a familiar voice.
"APPLES, APPLES FOR SALE!." I walked over to the pony that was yelling the sale of apples. Her coat was a even orange color, her mane and tail was blond in a pig tail, and her cutie mark was three red apples. Plus she was wearing a cowboy hat, didn't know which kind not a cowboy apparel expert. I walked over towards her, but she turned her head and noticed me coming.
"Well howdy there partner, didn't think I would see you here." she said in a country accent. I nodded and rubbed the back of my head.
"ya, just here with Bon Bon...It's Applejack right?" I questioned. She smiled and crossed her left hoove and back hoove.
"That's right partner, I figured you would have forgotten me." she stated. I nodded and looked at her apples...on sale.
"Well I have a pretty decant memory....So whatcha selling here? Apples?" I asked. Her smile widened and waved her hoove over her apples.
"That's right, me and my family grow the best darn apples this side of Equestria. Would you like one?" She asked. I thought for a brief moment.
"Sure." She expertly used her tail to toss a apple towards me, I caught it and examined the apple. hmmm, yes....the size matches that of a apple...the color correlates to my understanding of 'apples'... I take the apple and place it on my lips before opening my lips and crunching on it. The burst of flavor washed over my tongue and the flavor intensified with each crunch of the apple that resided in my mouth.
"Hmmm....these are really good." I stated as I took another bit of the apple. Applejack smiled big and tipped her hat at me.
"Why thank ya partner, we've been growin 'em for years. We know how to grow 'em sugar cube." She said as I continued to eat the apple, when I reached the core I looked around to find a trashcan. As I spied around, I noticed a pink blur coming my way and a white blur above the pink blur. My mind couldn't put detail to the blurs before the pink blur collided with me and sent me back a foot. I shook my head and looked down in my lap, there pinkie pie was rubbing the side of her head with her hoove and a white Pegasus hovering a foot away giggling at us.
"Howdy Pinkie." Applejack said with amusement in her voice.
"Pinkie?" I questioned as I looked at pinkie. she looked up at me with a goofy grin.
"HI ALEX!" pinkie exclaimed quite loudly as she hugged me. I was alittle surprised by her loudness but it was good to see her, so I hugged her back.
"Hello Pinkie, did you finish up cleaning?" I questioned. She looked at me with a confused look then it seemed to click in her mind.
"huh.....OHHHH, yes I finished up. Oh yeah, surprise this is him." She said to the white Pegasus who landed next to Pinkie Pie. I looked at the mare and I thought that those two look alot alike: From the facial features, to the hair, their tail, even the way they look at me. It was kinda ser-real to see these two. But I had to be polite and get to know this mare, so I stood up and patted the back of my pants.
"Well hello, I'm Alex Byrd." I said as I waved at her with one hand. She waved one of her hooves at me in response.
"Hello I'm Surprise." She said before hugging me as tight as she could. My chest felt like it was being crushed by either a car or a rather large case of books, not sure at the moment. I hugged her back and she let go with a smile.
"Sorry I hug new friends and old friends....anyone really...Hugs are nice that way." she exclaimed, her words made sense considering that this world is nice and friendly unlike 4CHAN. so I hugged her back and she seemed to like that, I took a moment to look her over. Her coat was a white color, kinda like cream but whiter, her mane was a bright yellow as well as her tail and her cutie mark was like Pinkie Pie's but her balloons were purplish.
I noticed Pinkie talking to Applejack,Must be talking about womanly mare stuff. So I turned my attention to Surprise and we started to talk.

Pinkie Pie moved over to Applejack as her cousin hugged Alex.
"Pss...Applejack..." She whispered to applejack, who turned her head to Pinkie Pie.
"Ya Pinkie?" She asked.
"Can I ask you something....Personal?" Pinkie replied. Applejack nodded.
"Sure Pinkie...."
"But you can't tell ANYPONY...Ok?" Applejack looked confused but nodded again. Pinkie looked back at Alex, who was having a conversation with Surprise, She moved close to Applejack and whispered in her ear.
"I think I'm in love with Alex..." Pinkie expected a gasp of a look of confusion, but all she got from Applejack was....
"We already know that sugar cube." She said in a sweet tone. Pinkie was confused.
"How did you guys figure it out?" Pinkie questioned. Applejack gave her a look that was a cross between "we know you" and "It wasn't hard".
"Pinkie, you wouldn't stop talking about him to us....I'm mighty surprised ya had so much to say about him, must of left a mighty fine impression." Applejack stated. Pinkie could feel her checks getting redder with embarrassment.
I kinda figured this would happen....your too talkative.

I learned alot about Surprise...More then I thought possible from our 3 minute talk. She told me about her favorite jams, candies, sweets, her job, her planed/up coming/future/non planed Parties, her cat, her dog, her friends, how her griffin friend pranked a old mare with her tail, and her favorite shampoo. I'm very surprised that my brain still works after the non stop talking. I looked towards the pasta stand and noticed Bon Bon walking towards us, I waved at her and she waved back.
"Well Surprise, It was a pleasure to meet you. But I have to get going." I told her as I started walking towards Bon Bon. Surprise smiled and nodded, she gave me a quick hug and flew over to Pinkie and Applejack.
"So I see you made a new friend." Bon Bon said playfully as we walked.
"Yeah she's really nice....talkative but nice....So ready to head home?" I said to Bon Bon.
We walked through the market, with Bon Bon carrying her groceries and us heading home to Lyra and Trixie...hopefully with minimal damage done to the house/
