After a long Boat ride down the river, night had fallen, they reached river that lead straight into Ponyville SP spoke up,
"Now I shouldn't have to remind you the downside of fighting against the princess of the night is she can see everything AT NIGHT, so the element of surprise has been compromised so we are going to go in loud and fast. I'd suggest Sifty get the Mounted Machine Gun, and Backfire, Get the spotlight."
"What about me?" Bon Bon spoke up,
"You just sit back and enjoy the ride."
"I can do that," with a nod SP went back to the controls and Backfire gleefully charged the spotlight with her horn. Bon Bon sat down again letting out a sigh, Sifty took notice and approached her,
"Something up Bonnie?"
"Just thinking about something."
"What was that?"
"Skullface, She said that they were the good guys."
"So what?"
"What if she's right?" she asked
"Are you crazy Bonnie!? You saw those things they had! You sure that coma didn't kill some of those brain cells?" he said in disbelief.
"Maybe, forget I said anything."
Sifty looked at Bon Bon, who was staring out the back of the boat and decided against pushing the subject, returning to the front of the watercraft he mounted the gun, Backfire was waving the light around the treeline to make sure nopony was monitoring them.
Two War-Bird Gunship zipped over the SwiftBoat and the radio cracked.
"This is CP-1716, Do you copy?" The voice on the radio said
"This is SP, we copy."
"You ready to roll?"
"Ready when you are."
"Roger, beginning sweep."
With the conformation given the two aircraft buzzed the water, creating a trail in the water. Various spotlights shone on them as they approached the dams, with the press of a button the machine gun pods fired on the spotlights ripping the towers to shreds causing them to fall on the trucks parked next to them. The noise waking the ponies but before they could react one of the gunships fired what looked like a firework into the tent causing it to explode in a white hot flame. The other gunship focused all it's fire on the dam, creating a large hole in it.
"Swiftboat one you are clear for delivery" CP-1716 said over the sound of his machine gun pods.
The Swift Boat kicked into full gear as they shot through the opening, the ponies on the now crumbling dam were too occupied by the gunships overhead. SP yelled over the engine,
"We have FIVE MINUTES to get in and get the scout, intel says he's holed up inside a machine shop a few meters east of where I set you guys off, after you have him you come right back and we get the buck out of dodge! Understood?" all three ponies nodded to the plan and prepared to pull up to the side of the water. Bon Bon pulled out her shotgun and put two 'special' shells into it, Closing the breach, she holstered it and got ready to exit the boat, ahead, was various Lunar Coalition soldiers waiting for them.
"LET EM' HAVE IT SIFT!" SP yelled, Sifty charging the weapon that looked like two blocks with a barrel on each. When Sifty pulled the trigger the barrels recoiled back into the box that held the mechanism loading a large bullet, and with a loud noise that sounded like a hammer hitting metal the dual barreled gun fired, not as fast as the Gunships weapons but with more power behind each bullet. As Sifty aimed at the ponies, the bullets made contact literally ripping them to shreds. after just one sweep the entire line was decimated and SP pulled the boat up to the shore, Bon Bon and Sifty stepped out, Backfire was about to join them, but Sifty stopped her
"Backfire, stay with the boat, I'll be back in no time." Backfire gave a displeased look and showed a face of worry
"Promise you will be careful?"
"Promise." He said tapping his hoof to his chest as a sign of honor.
"Good luck" She said giving a reassuring smile to cover her worry.
Running through the streets of Ponyville evading the trucks speeding towards the dam, Bon Bon and Sifty made it to the shop which a mare with a light blue coat closed the door, throwing something in the bushes and trotting away whistling a tune that gave Bon Bon the chills. Then seconds later the windows exploded and flame whipped out of the windows.
"Oh Buck, Come on Sifty!" Bon Bon said galloping towards the door, trying to open the door but being unable to as it was locked. Bon Bon pulled out her Shotgun and pointed it at the wood right next to the door lock.
"COVER YOUR FACE!" She yelled, Sifty doing as she said, pulling both triggers on her shotgun the special rounds send a shaped charge right into the door around the lock causing it to explode into splinters of wood, where the lock once stood now was a hole the size of a soccer ball.
"Damn." Sifty said, his eyes widened. Bon Bon kicked in what was left of the door and to her horror, saw Soarin' the Wonderbolt covered in flames screaming in agony,
"WE GOTTA HELP HI-" Her plea was cut short as the oil ignited the reserve tanks causing an explosion sending Bon Bon colliding into the wall, in a dazed state she saw Sifty under a pile of rubble knocked out cold. The room filling with smoke, Bon Bon coughed, she slowly crawled to Sifty throwing the debris off of him. she threw him on her back and prepared to head for the exit, but as she turned the corner just like at her house she came face to face with Skullface. Tired, battered, and confused she impulsively let out a raspy scream
"WHO ARE YOU!!"
