Twilight Sparkle slowly woke up on a train ride to her destination. She looked around and put her hoof on her head.
"Ugh, what a strange dream. That room, that colt, that mare. It felt so weird... but it felt... so real" She said to herself.
Twilight slowly closed her eyes again and try to relax for the rest of the train ride but while she had her eyes closed she saw glimpses of a mare, being attacked by somepony. Twilight quickly opened her eyes and let out a little gasp. A hour passed by and she was sitting there looking out the window. suddenly the announcements came on.
"Ponyville is the next stop mares and gentlecolts. Ponyville is the next stop. If you are getting off the next stop, please move to the middle of the train."
Twilight got her bag down and trotted to the middle of the train. Once it stopped she walked off it and noticed that she was the only one getting off at this stop. As she got out of the station she noticed a colt and a little filly there.
"Hey, over here!" The colt called out
Twilight walked over without any problems with her bag on her back, but a little confused.
"Well, you're more beautiful here in front of me then in your photo." Said the colt
She blushed and said "T-Thank you, I guess"
"Welcome to Ponyville. I'm Shinin' Armor. I'll be looking after you. Reason why it's me is because I'm your mother's first foal. So that sums it all up." He said
Twilight smiled and bowed to Shinin.'. She didn't remember she had an older brother because it's been so long. Maybe she was a little foal back then before he moves here.
"It's nice to meet you Shinin'. " She said with a smile on her face still.
Shinin chuckled at Twilight's greeting.
"Heh, we've met before little sis. You don't remember but I use to change your diapers when mom needed help with you." Shinin said with a smile.
The little filly behind Shinin' is trying to hide behind him but quickly and softly pushed her in front of him.
"This here is my daughter" He said. "Come on Sweetie Bell. introduce yourself to your aunt"
Sweetie Bell was a little shy and a scared to talk to Twilight. But she softly opened her mouth.
"... 'lo" Sweetie Bell said in a low voice.
She quickly blushed and started trotting behind her father again.
Shinin' started chuckling again and said " Hey, hey what're you so shy for?"
Sweetie Bell quickly lifts her hoof and hit him on his back.
"Ow, hahaha. What was that for?" he asked
She quickly went quite and her ears slowly went down. Shinin' looked at Twilight and smiled again.
" Well, we should get going okay?" he asked
"Yeah, right. Okay let's go" Twilight said
"Alright, our ride is over there" Shinin said as he pointed his hoof over to a wagon.
The three ponies trotted over to the wagon. A light blue pony with a cape on passed by twilight. Mistakingly, she bumped into her and picked up something with her magic.
"... Hey..." The light blue pony said.
Twilight turned around to the light blue pony. She quickly noticed that pony was holding a piece of paper in her hoof.
" You dropped something" the pony said
" Wow, I didn't notice I've dropped it. Thank you." Twilight said as she takes the piece of paper with her brother's address on it.
"Whatever. All I did was pick it up. I didn't even have to do that." The pony said as she walks off.
Twilight watched that pony leave, wondering if she'll ever see her again.
"Hey Twilight! you alright?" Shinin' screamed out
"Oh, it's nothing. I'm coming!" she replied.
Twilight walked over to the wagon and got in it next to Sweetie Bell. She was still shy around Twilight. But she gave her a nice warm smile. As they are on the wagon, Twilight had time to think about her dream. What was that all about. Mysteries and futures and fates. It was confusing her a lot more then normally. The wagon was stopping at a fuel place.
"We need to stop for a bit. The two that is pulling our wagon needs to fuel up and Sweetie here needs to use the bathroom" Said Shinin'
"It's okay Shinin' I can take a break a bit anyway." Twilight replied
The wagon stopped in front of the "Hay, eat and go" fuel station. A random pony came running out of the station to our wagon.
"Welcome to the "Hay, eat and go" fueling station" He greeted us.
Shinin' looked at Sweetie Bell and asked " Now are you sure you can go to the bathroom by yourself. I can ask Twilight to help you."
Sweetie Bell looked back at Shinin' and softly nodded
"Uh-huh" she said shyly
Both Shinin' Armor and Sweetie Bell got out of the wagon. Shinin' told the random pony what kind of hay to give to the two ponies that's pulling the wagon. Sweetie asked where is the little fillies room.
"Oh the rest room? It's in the back on your left. Do you want me to show you?" he asked
"I know my lefts from my rights ... Geez ..." she replied as she runs off to the bathroom
Twilight gets off the wagon and started listening to Shinin' and the random pony talk.
"So are you three going on a trip or something?" the random pony asked
Shinin' shook his head and replied " Not really, I just went to pick up my little sister from Manehattan"
"Manehattan, huh...?" The random pony asked.
"Hey, can you give those two normal hay? They need to fuel up" Shinin' asked
"Right away!" The random pony answered
"Hmm, maybe I should have a bit of a smoke while I wait too." Shinin' said to himself
Shinin' Armor trotted away as he lights a cigarette on the other side of the road. The random pony trotted up and started talking to Twilight.
"Hey are you in high school?" asked the random pony.
Twilight was a bit confused on why did he asked that.
"Does it surprise a city mare to see how little is out here?" he asked
"Not really" Twilight answered back
"Well, to be honest. There's so little to do. I'm sure you'll get bored fast. You'll either be hanging out with your friends or doing a part-time job" he replied
The pony turned it's back then turned back around.
"Speaking of which, we're looking for help right now." he said as he trots up to her.
The pony trotted over to her with his hoof out.
"Give it some thought alright? We don't care if you're a student." he said
Twilight shook his hoof and noticed Sweetie Bell was coming back. The pony started trotting to a hat stack.
"Sorry, I should get back to work." said the pony
Twilight was kicking her hooves on the ground a bit when noticed Sweetie Bell was looking at her. Suddenly Twilight saw a light flash and started holding her head. Sweetie Bell trotted over to her.
"... Are you okay" Asked Sweetie Bell. "Did you get motion sick?"
"I'm alright." Twilight answered back.
"But... you don't look too good." she replied.
Twilight became more dizzy. She taught to herself that it might have been the long ride. Shinin' trots over noticing his sister looking ill.
"Hey sis, you alright?" He asked
"Oh, I'm alright just felt a little light headed. That's all." she replied as she smiled lightly.
"Hey, it was a long trip so it's understandable." he replied
Twilight looked at Sweetie Bell's worried face.
"Maybe you should take a little troth around. Just tell me when you're ready to leave." suggested Shinin'
"Okay, I'll do that." said Twilight
Twilight started trotting around the shopping area. She noticed many shops were around. Along with a shrine with one half of it was the moon and the other side is the sun. As she was trotting around she noticed somepony near the "Hay, eat and go". It was that light blue pony again from before. She trotted over to the light blue pony.
"Hey!" she called out
"Hm... hello?" Have we met before?" the light blue pony asked
" Yeah, we bumped into each other at the station. What were you doing there anyway?" Twilight asked
"The station...? Oh, over there... no reason... I was just there... I really don't have anywhere to go." She said
The light blue pony got quite so Twilight left her alone and went back to Shinin and Sweetie Bell to leave.
