//------------------------------// // It's All Coming Together // Story: The Eldest // by Authora97 //------------------------------// Luna was pacing her room, unable to go back to sleep, the questions coming from what happened only minutes before. Asa’s magic was blue? How was that even possible? Asa had prismatic magic, it was always fun to see her use it. But how was it dark blue when Asa dragged Luna out of her room? These questions had kept Luna from getting her sleep. More and more questions about the recent days came to her. Why had Asa been avoiding her? Was Asa being distant to Celly too? Could they have done something to her? Were the emotions from the days after her arrival coming back to the surface? The youngest sibling stopped. Maybe that was it. All the odd behaviors were off the way Celestia and herself treated Asa during her Return. But what about the magic? Without another thought Luna ungracefully landed on her bed, letting out a sigh. What was wrong with her sister? The day was the same as any other for Blood Dawn. Speak with the ponies, deal with a small problem in a nearby or distant town, avoid those things she sadly called family and prepare for the annihilation of the alicorns and that draconequus. Nothing too difficult. Of course, Celestia and Luna had kept disturbing her as of late. Celestia in the day and Luna at night. Dawn always gave them an excuse as to why she couldn’t spend any time with them. The Alicorns were dense enough that they bought it. Looking over at the small desk calendar, Blood Dawn saw that she needed to check on Asa. The freak would need more food, plus with the information Luna had just given her the freak was asleep and having nightmares. Perfect. With a small word to her guards telling them she needed a half hour of undisturbed peace, Blood Dawn prepared the teleportation spell to the Vault. Asa was awakened by a bright flash, the candles had dimmed over the course of a few hours but she didn’t need them to know who had arrived. “Ugh...figures you would like the dark.” Blood Dawn complained, her horn glowing midnight blue before the candles somehow lengthened and brought more light into the room. The Queen did like it dark, it kept her from seeing the figure that had done this to her. Yes, the alicorn did have her charms but they were whisked away with her dark thoughts and actions. Blood Dawn took a look at a candle intently, then to the human chained tightly to the stone walls. “You know, just a few minutes ago I had our darling youngest sister come to me and tell me I had a nightmare. Of course, I had to explain to the twit that it wasn’t anything but a daydream. Can you explain to me why Luna thought I had a nightmare in the first place Freak?” Asa didn’t flinch that time, Blood Dawn had been calling her that every time she came down and it took four days for her to stop flinching. “Thou makest the sound as though We had a choice as to Our dreams.” Asa grumbled, she had been having trouble with Modern Equestria when angry. Now it was almost first nature to speak in the Royal Canterlot Voice. “True, but it’s fun.” Without another word, Asa gripped onto her chains. She knew what was coming and when the hindlegs hit her stomach and pushed her against the walls, Asa could just barely feel it. Parts of her back having gone numb. The small whimper she gave out, gave Blood Dawn a twisted smile. “Music to my ears.” Blood explained. In a quick flash, a small tray of fruit lay at the feet of Asa. The Queen looked down at the food and then at Blood Dawn. “Can’t have you starve, much to my displeasure. So eat it before I change my mind.” This was the second time Asa had been given food. The last time Blood Dawn had given her strict rules, ones Asa had to follow or risk more pain. The teen stretched out a hand, her hand glowing prismatic for a faint second before vanishing. Asa took a large gulp of air before beginning the speech. “Queen Blood Dawn, please assist your lowly servant in acquiring it’s meal. For it’s magic seems to be faulty yet again and it needs your most powerful magic.” Asa said, the words sounding about empty. Smiling at her small victory, Blood lifted up one of the apples in her blue magic to the dirt covered human. “Your Queen shall beseech thee.” Blood Dawn cheered as she fed her prisoner. As said prisoner took bites from the apple, she could only hope her sisters work discover Blood Dawn’s treachery before it was too late. Ten minutes later, was Dawn was sure Asa had enough, the disguised orange alicorn teleported back to her room. Dawn began to pace the room in thought. She still needed to remove the Princesses without causing alarm. Which in turn meant having to raise and lower the sun and moon until the perfect opportunity to reveal their capture. With Discord...it might be a little harder but not impossible. The one question is how? “It always looked easier in the books.” Dawn complained. “Of course, it was always in few of the heroine and not of the villain.” The alicorn in disguise smashed her hand onto her desk. It was quiet enough to not attract the attention of the guards. “How am I going to do this?” Dawn focused, trying to work out the proper times to do all of this. Events that had to be done before she could do anything, things that she needed to gather and, obviously, the space she needed to keep them in until she could figure something else out. She couldn’t place them in the Vault, if the four of them spent too long together and they would surely come up with a plan. She couldn’t kill Freak, no, at least not the way Blood wanted to. Letting her eyes roam, her midnight blue eyes landed on a thin book left by Lyra. If Blood Dawn couldn’t kill Asa. Then she would do the next best thing.
