The princess was a bit confused as to why the Legion of Superheroes was there, she stood there with all eyes on her waiting for an explanation, then Shining Armor spoke "Snug bug after the attack your mother and I called the legion, we thought they could help keep you safe and help figure out who was behind the attack. While the guards are more than capable to protect you we felt you need more protection."
"I understand dad."
"Now we have some business to attend to, so I suppose this will give you all a chance to get acquainted" Cadance said.
So the young princess was left alone with members of the most famous superhero team since the Justice League, she was never good with meeting new people, she never knew what to say. But she knew she had to say something "Um...hi...I uh, its nice to meet you all. I'm the princess who was nearly killed...but...you knew that, umm"
Rokk quite staring at her and stepped toward her "This is all awkward for you isn't it?
"Little bit" she said flustered. Rokk couldn't take his eyes off her, and with her the feelings were mutual.
"Anyway allow us to introduce ourselves..."
"I know who you all are, I've heard of you and seen your pictures. You're Cosmic Boy, Colossal Boy, Brainiac 5, Super Girl, and Phantom Girl." the princess said cutting Rokk off.
"Right...and this is the part where you tell us your name" Colossal Boy said
"Oh yeah I'm Cherry"
"That's an interesting name" said Super Girl
Cherry took a small section of her hair and started twirling it around her finger "Well my parents thought it would be appropriate 'cause of my hair."
"Well I think it sutes you" Rokk said. Cherry blushed and smiled and so did Rokk. Then suddenly the door opened to reveal a handsome young man with blue eyes and wheat gold hair. He was wearing a white dress shirt, blue pants, and black pants. He walked over and stood next to Cherry.
"Personally I've always thought she was given that name because she's so sweet" and with that he placed one hand under her chin and kissed her lips. After a minute or two they broke apart and everyone was staring at them.
Breaking the tension Brainiac 5 said "Boy people sure are friendly here."
"Oh sorry um this is Strong Heart..."
"Prince Strong Heart" he interrupted
"right Prince Strong Heart, we're promised to each other." when everyone remained silent Cherry took it as a hint that they didn't know what she what she meant, so she explained "...it's like being engaged". Rokk felt his heart sink, but he was more focused on the groom to-be. There was something about his eyes that gave him an uneasy feeling, they looked lonely almost as if he had no feelings or a heart.
'And judging by his recent display it's clear that he's only after thing' Rokk thought to himself.
"Cherry dear go up to your room, until this assassin is caught its best for you stay where you'll be safest" the prince said.
"Oh okay Heart" said Cherry as she turned and made her way to her room, closing the room behind her. Rokk walked over to the prince placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Don't worry Strong Heart we will protect Cher..."
"Let me stop you right there..." Strong Heart said cutting off Rokk using an angry tone and knocking his hand away "...first of all you address me as 'your highness', second of all spend less time talking and more time protecting my future bride, got it!"
"Whoa easy, easy we will keep her safe. We're the Legion of Superheroes we can handle this" Phantom Girl said cutting in before a brawl broke out.
"Really, you better; cause for a minute their I thought you were the Legion of Super-Morons!" said Strong Heart before storming off.
"Man, and I thought the Fatal Five were nasty" Rokk said.
"Yeah what a jerk" Colossal Boy agreed
"Well still the royal pain is not the key issue, lets make perimeter sweep and meet back here in a few hours."
The team split up searching the castle grounds and began their mission. They regrouped in the throne room at nightfall, Rokk turned to his team and asked "Found anything?"
"Nothing out of the ordinary" replied Super Girl
"Well I don't want to take a chance, for all we know whoever is after the princess could have snuck in without any of us seeing them and set something up. We cant let our guard down."
After exchanging a few looks and smirks everyone came to the same conclusion "Gee Cosmic Boy why are you taking this mission so seriously?" Colossal Boy asked
"What are you talking about I take every mission seriously. Besides why shouldn't I take this mission seriously, you heard the story Princess Cherry needs to be protected and not just from Prince No Heart. I mean seriously how can she merry that jerk. You know he actually demanded twelve guards outside his room. I mean seriously." Rokk stated using an annoyed tone of voice.
“Is that jealousy I detect?” Phantom Girl teased
"What?!? I am not jealous"
"You sure? 'Cause it sounds like you are." said Super Girl
"Am not, now can we please focus. We need a plan" Rokk said still a bit annoyed
Brainiac 5 pulled out a small computer and began typing "I've analyzed the options, conclusion our plan should be to split up and keep an eye on things from certain points around the castle."
Rokk nodded agreeing with Brainiac 5's plan and gave the team their assignments "Phantom Girl and Super Girl watch the skies, Colossal Boy man the front gate, I'll patrol the halls, Brainiac 5 you guard Princess Cadance and Shining Armor's room just in case. Go!"

Super Girl and Phantom Girl were flying over the entire the castle, Super Girl's Infer-Red vision picked up mostly animals and guards moving around but nothing remotely threating. After a while they decided to have a little girl talk while on recon (observe and report) "So you think Cosmic Boy will ever admit he has a crush on Princess Cherry?" asked Super Girl
"I don't know Kara, I've known Rokk longer then you have since the Legion first started actually, and he can be real butt head about things. But it's so obvious he likes her not like it matters I mean she is getting married." replied Phantom Girl
"True, but I'll tell you one thing Tinya Cherry feels the same way about him." Super Girl said
"Really?"
"Yep...oh wait"
"What's wrong?" Phantom Girl asked "This a super hearing thing?"
"Yeah we're in business, I heard something stran..." before Super Girl finish a green cord wrap around her and she slowly began to lose altitude "ahhh feels...like...kryptonite."
"SUPER GIRL!" screamed Phantom Girl in a panic as Super Girl began to fall out of the sky.
