//------------------------------// // Slowly Changing // Story: Personalities are Like Trading Cards // by PinkiePie12345 //------------------------------// The light touched the library’s walls warmly as it starts to bring its warm light into the building. A little dragon sat up from his bed as he looked at the stairs. Spike walked down the steps, it was pretty early for him to wake up. Grabbing his checklist, he starts to finish off his chores one by one. He sat down on the staircase, smiling to himself as he looked at the sparkling library. Yawning, he took a book and starts to read it. But he was quickly interrupted by the bouncing of Twilight. Spike looked at her with a questioning look as the purple mare skipped to her kitchen. Spike followed Twilight as he noticed that she was gobbling down her food. It was normal, she did eat like a slob at times. He smiled as he stepped towards Twilight, “Good morning Twilight!” He said quite joyfully. Twilight attempts to talk with a smile, but she doesnt seem to respond because of the food in her mouth. Spike, who starts eating the leftovers of his hay fries, rolled his eyes in a playful manner. Twilight quickly got up and skipped to the main room of the libaray though, followed by the dragon. Looking around, Spike saw the unicorn taking out a cooking book. He quickly ran as she snatched the book from her, “Hey!” He shouted at Twilight. She giggled as she levitated the book up, still retaining her smile “Sorry Spike, but these meals are just so … mouthwatering.” Twilight replied to the purple dragon, drool falling onto the floor as her purple eyes were set on the pictures. Sighing, Spike opened the door as he walks outside. “Dont ruin the books, please.” He whispered tiredly as he closed the door. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Pinkie tipped toed down the wooden stairs. Looking down, she saw the babies asleep. Reaching the ground, she slowly walked inside the kitchen towards the tables, putting down some plastic plates. She then layed down each fork and spoon beside the plate, all away perfectly.from the plate itself. Grabbing the cake, she layed down the cake in the middle of the table, decorating the place with flowers and candles. Grabbing the pink and blue tablecloths, Pinkie decorated the stools. Stepping out of the kitchen, she grabbed both the kids gently as she heads towards the stool. After laying them down, she slowly repeats their names, waking them up really slowly. Her eyes focused on the cake, then turned around to the hungry, tired babies. Grabbing the dry bottle, she filled it with some powder, then poured in some water. While shaking both of the bottles, she turned around to see Pumpkin eating a part of the cake. Quickly, she ran to the baby, pulled her away from the cake and gave her the bottle. Cleaning the mess, the foals peacefully drink the milk. She then returned the brooms to their places as she carries the twins back to the living room. She set down the babies on the ground, letting them play with some blocks, as she sat down on the sofa. Arranging the pillows and cleaning the sofa, the Cakes came down the stairs of Sugarcube Corner. Pinkie watched the Cakes as they look aroud in surprise. There was no stain, or spilled drink anywhere. Pinkie giggled as the Cakes looked at her in shock “P-Pinkie, did you just…” Carrot Cake hesitated in astonishment. Pinkie simply nodded as the couple smiled at her. The soft cushion bounced back as Pinkie stood up and walked to her bedroom. The couples sat in her place as they went through their baked requests. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rarity levitated the glittering gem carefully as she starts to stitch it on the plain, white. Looking back at her gem chest, she noticed the complete lack of any of the glamorous rocks. A slight tap sound catched Rarity’s ears, distracting her attention. Flipping her head and attention, there was Sweetie Belle, sneaking around with mud on her hooves. She slowly moved forwards to Sweetie, who was cowering in fear of what would Rarity do to her. Putting her hoof in front of Sweetie, she calmly asked, “Do you have any leftover gems from your art project yesterday? I really need them please.” Sweetie Belle looked at her in wonder as she simply nodded. The trail of mud hoofsteps was behind her as Rarity didn't seem to mind. Rarity simply walked to the stairs as she continues to step upstairs while levitating her gem chest. All the while getting her hooves dirty by the hoofsteps made from mud. The filly just sat there as she stared at the stares, shocked. Once reaching Sweetie’s room, she saw the horrible mess. However, she didn't mind. Looking around, she starts levitating each of the gems into her chest, which filled just enough for the dress. Closing the chest, she got a bit of dust onto her chest. But again, her attention didn't break. Looking back at the bedroom, she stopped in her tracks and set the chest down. Closing the white door, she arranged and cleaned up the bedroom. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
