The Gala (Two days later)
Everypony mingled, this certainly was a wonderful time. The stall venders made many a good bit. Celestia was surprised at this turn out, at least over four hundred ponies attended. Celestia even managed to convince DJ Pon3 to play at this year's Gala, many cheered once the wubs were heard. Even other races attended, feeling proud was an under statement for Celestia. Luna on the other hoof was uneasy.
The vault hunters each were having a great time, except Axton because he's a bitch.
"Maya I have to ask this, how is your hair blue when most of your kind have brown hair?" Twilight finally asked.
"Well I don't really know to be honest." Maya shrugged.
"I think it looks awesome!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. "But not as awesome as me of course, but it's up there."
"Anyone know where I can grab a drink? Come on amigos!" Salvador yelled with an inside voice.
"Well heck Sal, ah got some cider. Here drink up see if'n you like that." Applejack passed a mug of "Apple" cider. Once the mug was in the hands of the gunzercker the liquid was gone. Chugging the cider within a five second time span, Salvador managed to make Rainbow Dash's jaw quite literaly hit the floor. Sal grinned from what he could guess was a small victory as the others mouths drop. "Ah didn't know you'd like it that much partner."
"Oh it was the best! Thanks amigo!" Sal smiled with a confident grin.

Gaige noticed many things about the Gala, every pony was having a great time for one. The rich and the poor laughed together, as well as putting all differences aside. Enemies sang together, really bad when they were drunk. And a very snobbish unicorn with a yellow mane. As she sat watching the crowd, that unicorn noticed her.
"Standards must have dropped if they let something as hideous as you into the Gala." Blueblood smirked gaining the full attention of the mechromancer. "Move aside peasant, oh I nearly forgot you must bow before royalty."
"Yeah they had to let standards drop to let in a prick like you." She retorted.
"Such a foul thing like you doesn't deserve to even cast its filthy gaze at me."
"Yeah well you're not much to look at. I mean an asshole, stuck up, bitch boy. Yeah I think that makes you worthless." She smiled at Blueblood.
"I'll have you banished from Equestria!"
"Nah you can't do shit."

"Black wing when shall we launch our assault?" Redtip asked his commander who was staring intently at Twilight.
"Once Princess Luna and Celestia make their leave, we begin. And this new princess will fall first. I will have her head, is that understood?" Black wing asked his men. Each one nodded vigorously, they understood what their jobs were. First party was meant to keep the doors shut keeping everypony out. Second party would round up the ponies. And finally the third party would take the princesses by force. "We move in thirty minutes from now."

Luna watched from the balcony, searching for the psycho. A lite knock came from behind her, to her surprise it was the mechromancer.
"Still looking huh?" Gaige said flatly.
"Yes, I have a terrible feeling about tonight and I can't find why." Luna's head dropped down a little. "I wish things didn't turn out the way they did."
In the distance the two could hear the new song being played.

And as if on que the Gala became an uproar, Luna and Gaige heard things being broken and smashed. Then came the sound of a commander who would have organized the whole thing.
"We have one princess, and five freaks! The other princesses should come out if they don't want any of their precious ponies harmed."
Gaige shot Luna a worried look, and Luna returned the look. Luna wouldn't allow any of her subjects to be harmed by whoever caused this mess. She trotted forward, only to be captured by three griffons.

Krieg saw the whole thing and knew what had to be done. These birds would be meat puddy in his hands.
