And so Rainbow dash said ''But whichever of you make it across the finish line with me will have proven you can keep up with me, and will have earned the honor, and glory, of getting to be my pet! Ready? Set go!'' Rainbow dash has dashed off, maneuvering the Ghastly Gorge, going through various obstacles and with great speed as well . ''Cant catch me!'' Rainbow dash said with a hearty laugh, with her confidence, she went in between the rocks and passages of the Ghastly Gorge, she flew quickly, Not giving her Competitors, The pets that wanted to be honored by Rainbow dash, any chance. ''Oh! I forgot to tell you! Watch out for the Quarray eels! They don't like it when you get too close to their nests'' She yelled, She passed the Nests of the Quarray eels while none of them have Caught her with their Gobs, Rainbow dash was Confident of herself, A little bit Too confident.
That confidence was about to Drop
As she flew through the Gorge, she stopped to yell and warn her other future pets : ''AVALANCHE!!!''
When Rainbow dash stopped, the Avalanche had fell on her, caving her in Solid boulders and rocks, the dust flew if someone just blew off dust of a book shelf, a REALLY old one, enough for the room to be filled with dust.
Rainbow dash wakes up, She opens her Rose- eyes and clears them with her hoof, she tries to stand up, but something temps her to sit down, she looks around And when she decides to stand up, she realizes, its not the Temptation that makes her want to stand up, but She discovers that her wing is buried in a Huge dusty boulder, Rainbow dash did not want to Believe what she saw, She thought she was sleeping , she chuckled in confusion, she was too nervous to Trust Anything, and then she frowned, She realized it was not a dream, It was REALLY happening, her wing is stuck, she cannot fly. '' Oh no, nonono, th-this can't be happening. Forever is way too long to be trapped in Ghastly Gorge. I mean, it's like, forever! Somepony! Anypony! Help me! '' she shouted. And as soon as the Echo passed, the ground was shaking, she realized what she has just done, she screamed and triggered another Avalanche, the Avalanche was falling on her, Tons of boulders, she covered herself in fear ''Oh sweet Celestia not like this!''
The rocks fall down, one by one, to her surprise none are falling on her, and due to shock she passes out.
Once she woke up, she was chuckling again, she saw massive amounts of boulders, near her ''Phew'' She said out loud, but when she looked back at her wing, she saw it, not just one boulder, but a whole stack leaning on the gorge side, she panicked once again, crying, she was hoping it would not happen, but it just did. She shacked in fear ''Why? Why is this happening to me?'' She sat and leaned on the boulder in tears, knowing it would be her Doom, Panic and fear filled her. She looked up in the Sky, and she did not longer see the sun, she now saw only what was a red-Orange sky, while the sun was out of her vision, passing away behind the mountains.
Now she was Panicking
''WHY? This is INSANE!''
She started moaning in tears, and she saw a figure in a distance.
''Who are you? Please help! I am stuck''
She saw the tortoise come closer ''Well. This is the least that can happen, please help me....Somehow!'' the tortoise tried to push he boulder off Rainbow dash, put such piles are impossible to push even for the strongest earth pony. Rainbow dash gave a short sob ''Listen ,I am sorry I underestimated you, please help'' Rainbow dash looked around, she saw a perfect flat stone, and a sharp rock, she screeched the Sharp rock on the Flat stone, In some Hand writing (which is of-course not her handwriting , but its almost impossible to write on rock) She gave the tortoise the flat stone, which said ''Twilight! Help me, I am stuck in an Avalanche in the Ghastly Gorge! Send help! -RainbowDash '' the Tortoise stored the Flat stone in his mouth ''Please give this to Twilight sparkle'' The tortoise give a weak nod, and went off to the direction of the Finish line. Rainbow dash gave the weakest smile, and shed a tear.
The Moon has risen, Rainbow dash tried to get comfortable, then by luck, something fell just next to her, to her luck, A backpack. She overheard 2 ponies. ''DANG! MY BACKPACK!'' One pony said ''Don't worry, What was in it'' The other asked ''My water, my Multi-tool, and my New diary, which is still blank!'' the other replied ''Ill buy you the same backpack, all the stuff you mentioned, and by water I mean a new Rucksack'' the Other spoke ''Promise?'' The other said. ''Promise'' The 2 voices have disappeared, Rainbow dash overheard the talk, and she tried to scream for help, but her voice was crippled, she could not even shout loud enough to create another Avalanche. Without hope of quick Rescue, she picked up the camouflaged Back-pack , She Scavenged the Back-pack , and there she thought she was out of hope, she picked up the Water, and had 2 sips, she instantly knew she had to Ration them, so she put the Ruck-sack away, and picked up the Multi-tool , She switched to the Cork , and she also took the Diary, with a pen, she Checked the pages, nothing...It was all blank, like It was just bought from the store, clean too. She Opened on the first page, Writing wasn't her thing, but Writing memoirs is better than sitting and watching at rocks as they fall one by one.
You might have not known this but she was in-fact a very skilled Drawer , she drew as if it was her talent, She was just hiding it. At-least from her friends anyways. She began to write: Dear Diary, it is the first time I found you, You are now my companion, and my Memory saver, Please be Treasured... where to begin? I am trapped in the Ghastly Gorge, it is Night, But there are no Critters here, but Your previous owner has helped me by accident, My wing is stuck in the pile of boulders... It is really funny, I love my wings, but as you can see....Its just a bad Coincidence...I guess, I wonder what my friends thing? It is a shame, I was thinking I am awesome...And then I just lost...I will start drawing on you, Maybe you can cheer me up Rainbow dash Searched the back-pack again, The owner probably forgot that he had a lighter, a box of matches, and a pencil...Maybe they did not matter as much, ''oh and he also forgot his digital watch, funny, I would wear it on my wrist...But Its maybe for my own good'' said the Light blue pony to herself . She checked the watch, It is 11:42 Usually Rainbow dash sleeps at 2 AM , but She wanted to pass the day as quick as possible, she decided to draw till 00:30 , so she began scribbling, drawing piece by piece, and she already drew 3 drawings by 0:17, A drawing of the Tortoise, a drawing of The Gorge, and Her friends... She shed a tear, and she has put all the items in the bag, And she put the bag on her chest, as a temporary blanket.
Once she woke up, It was indeed a glorious morning, she was used to sit in the Gorge like that, and she ignored the rock , the sun shined, and she even saw some grass grow around the gorge, She noticed some of the dirt was wet, and her bag was also wet, she must have slept in a rain, she took out her Diary and wrote : Today is the day I start trying to try to chip the rock off, I have the Multi tool, and I will start using the cork and knifes to get out of here, so wish me luck! Rainbow dash closes the Diary, equips the cork and starts chipping...she kept Chipping, the boulder was slowly being pierced, the boulder was barely even touched tough, small chunks are cut off...
She gave up, and looked around once again, she knew she was doomed, the Boulder is not even quarter chipped, even when she used the knife it did not work. She rested her back on the boulder, and then she could not take it anymore, she sighed , she felt a raindrop fall on her head, she wished she could fly, so that she could change the weather for good, the sun has set down again, but this time, dash's Head was spinning, when she saw the Sun set down, instead of the moon, a dark orb came out, she shook her head, and she realized she was hallucinating, it was just the moon, And it was definitely hallucination, she saw 3 ponies pass by, all 3 are hikers, she shook her head again, she was SURE she was hallucinating, Was it hunger, sleep deprivation or Insanity, she knew she had to get out, and it was almost impossible, she wanted to get out as soon as she could, she even began to think, what was she missing? What if she missed another Wonder bolt Show? Maybe she missed someponies birthday? Even tough, maybe just a party, maybe there are no Birthdays at the moment ,but she was SURE she could have missed something big, Very Big. Rainbow dash snapped. She became very insane, she hoped to get out, she struggled, harder and harder, she did not give up, she tried to push the boulder away, this may have been the worst moment of her life, she thought, if she sent a tortoise, when would it get the letter? She panicked even more , she cried in tears, she pushed the boulder even harder, with all her might, the boulder moved, but only a little, she banged her head against it, she could not take any longer, she could never take more of that pain, she wanted to leave, her wing was getting Numb, she knew she cannot wait any longer. She just rested her head on the boulder, and she just gave up, and she hoped Tank would deliver the message, She did not do anything, she took a sip from the rucksack, but she found out, it was later empty, she ran out of food, and was there even any food? Just expired cans.
The next day Rainbow dash woke up still stuck under the stone, she opened her eyes and then she was happiest of all at that moment, And saddest, she saw Pinkie pie, Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy standing on top of the gorge, while the sad part, was the storm that was brewing up. ''RAINBOWDASH!'' yelled out Twilight , Rainbow dash weakly looked up at her, ''Rainbowdash! You need to get out of here! We will call for help!'' Yelled applejack, ''But, the storm'' Fluttershy said loudly, yet while not shouting. ''We can't leave her here, the storm is the problem'' yelled out Rarity ''RAINBOW DASH! YOU NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!'' yelled pinkie pie, Rainbow dash looked back at the ground, raindrops fell on the ground, she looked at her wing and she yelled ''GO BACK TO PONYVILLE AND COME BACK! I HAVE AN IDEA'' ''ARE YOU SURE'' Yelled Twilight ''YES, NOW GO!'' Rainbow dash yelled and all the ponies went back.

Rainbow dash looked back at her wing and she shed a couple tears, but she knew what to do, she picked up her multi-tool and took out her sharpest and biggest blade, she looked at her wing again, and slowly pushed the blade to her wing, she began to cut her wing, there was no blood, but until she began to cut more, and more, blood was sprained all across the place, The rain was spraining around her face and mane, she gave up, but then went back to cutting, she began to cut even more, her veins have detached from her wings, blood was everywhere, she felt a detach, but she had to keep cutting, she began cutting harder, until she was full of anger to do it, she took a very short break, and went back to cutting, one last cut, she did a final slice, and the wing was detached.
She looked at the wing again, and took out some spare cloth from the back pack, and wrapped it around where her wing used to be , The rain began to brew up even more, she climbed the boulders back to the topside of the gorge, and fell on her back, she heard a weak voice ''Rainbow dash! Quick, get her to the doctor!'' Rainbow dash knew she was safe, and it cost her.
She woke up in a hospital, rising up, and finding her friends near her, without a word, they all smiled, and group hugged, and then a doctor opened the door and came inside. ''Rainbowdash, you were brave, and for that, we are not leaving you unsatisfied, If you haven't noticed, we have bandaged your old wing back, it will take longer to revive tough, please, rest now'' The doctor said ''Girls , I found out, there is nothing more powerful, than the will to live'' And they all hugged once again.
