I hear the towns people shouting and crying, the sun still has not risen, it has been maybe two days since we defeated Discord. Celestia looks at me and then look around the town. With no idea what she is thinking, I do the same and begin to look around. I see the terror and fear in ponies eyes, they do not know that their overlord has been turned to stone. I see Celestia's horn glowing, and wonder what is going. "Stay here, this could be risky," she says to me. I just simply nod and take a large step back.
Celestia begins to float in the air inch by inch, but I look behind her and see the sun is lifting behind her. My eyes begin to water with joy until I just can't hold it in anymore. I hear the town begin to cheer for Celestia. I look around and see that a crowd has begun to gather. As Celestia gets higher and higher, I begin to remember, Celestia doesn't have wings. Right as the sun is at its peak I see that wings have come out of Celestia and she has become an alicorn. I don't know if I should feel joy or be scared for what has happened for my sister.
She slowly lands back on the ground, as everyone is calling her princess and kneeling to her. Celestia walks over to me and pats my head, but it feels like she is patting something that shouldn't be there. I slowly look up fearing the worst, but it is a unicorn horn. I begin to jump with joy and realize I have wings as well! Oh to be an alicorn felt so great! The people are kneeling for more then just Celestia, but me as well. Together we defeated Discord and turned him to stone and now rule Equestria.
A mare comes up to us and announces that there will be something called a coronation tomorrow at sunrise. I begin to wonder what that is and if it will hurt. She takes me and Celestia to a nearby building and walks us in. Her and Celestia keep walking as I look at the art around the room. "Luna! Get in here!" I hear my sister yell from the next room. I walk in and sit next her. "This is the mayor of ponyville, she wants to have a ceremony for us becoming princesses of Equestria," my sister says calmly. "Me a princess and ruling Equestria," my voice trembles as I reply to her and she knows I'm scared. "It will all be okay Luna," she assures me.
The mayor shows us to our room, it is a big elegant room. She leaves and I hear the door shut. Celestia is already asleep and I feel I should get some too, but can't I'm too excited, I mean I have a freaking horn now! I can do magic! I stay up all night practicing everything I can. Levitation, Defenses, and even the come to life spell. Before I even know Celestia is up and lowering the moon I raised and putting the sun in it's place.
The entrance to our building has been decorated with suns and moons with purple and white colors. I can't help, but feel joy. Today is the day I, no we go down in history as I look at Celestia. She gives me a big smile as the choir begins to sing. We slowly walk to the front of the room as the crowd is going crazy for me and my sister. Celestia says a few words for both of us, I'm to busy taking it all in to even hear what she said. We slowly walk out of the room and are on our way to Canterlot to construct our castle and rule Equestria.
"What happens next Aunt Luna!?" a small purple and white filly asks overly excited.
"Come on Auntie we no the story isn't over!" says the other who is white with a red spikey mane.
"Story time is over little ones your mom would not be happy if I kept you up during the night," I reply. Both groan at the same time knowing they need to go to bed. I turn off the light and walk downstairs. "Did they enjoy their 'story'?" my sister asks.
"They always do Celestia, they always do."
