//------------------------------// // Chapter 40 Lou // Story: The Slow Mo Stallions // by gamershot //------------------------------// Fluttershy picked up one of her bees gently, holding it in her hoof. The bee then started to slowly wriggle as she held it. "It seems okay..." muttered Fluttershy quietly, "we should put them back in the hive to recover though." she added scooping up another bee. "Alright then, let's put 'em back." agreed Gavin carefully picking up one of the insects and holding it away from himself. Dan and Rainbow Dash also grabbed a bee each; they trudged along behind the other two over to the bee hive. "Ugh, I hate bees." grunted Dan. "Well stallion up Dan, we have to help Fluttershy." sighed Rainbow Dash, nudging him. "Yeah, come on ya pleb." chuckled Gavin, plopping a bee into the hive gently. "Oh wait! I know!" smiled Dan as he dropped his bee in. Dan had a wide smile on his face as he quickly trotted back over to the pile of bees. "I can just use magic!" he cheered. Dan stared at the bees, concentrating, his horn glowing dully. After a few seconds, he'd managed to shakily lift the swarm into the air and move them a little. He carefully lifted them over to the hive, and placed them inside gently. "There! Job done!" Dan cheered, smiling ear to ear. "Oh, thank you very much Dan." Fluttershy mumbled with a small smile. Gavin then peeked into the hive, only to immediately pull his head as far away as possible when he saw the bees beginning move. "Well then." gulped Gavin, clapping his hooves together. "What d'you guys wanna do?" asked Rainbow Dash, having nothing else planned for the day. "We could go and see that Lou person?" suggested Dan. "I-I think I'll leave you to that..." Fluttershy mumbled before darting inside. Rainbow Dash looked to the other pegasus, his bright green eyes shining in the sun. "What do you think Gav?" she asked him. Gavin looked up and tapped his chin with his hoof for a few seconds. "Yeah, I'm okay with meeting Lou." he decided with a shrug. Rainbow Dash laughed slightly and raised her eyebrows. "Okay then! Let's go!" she chuckled, leading the stallions into central Ponyville. The rainbow maned mare trotted ahead of the two stallions, who were walking side by side. "So, how do you know her?" asked Dan. "Well, she's a weather pony, so I'm her boss." replied Rainbow Dash, briefly turning to look at Dan. The stallions nodded slowly, both daydreaming about home. As they continued to walk along the dusty paths, Gavin turned to his friend. "Pfft," he snorted, "just think about how crazy this is." "Yeah, it's mental," agreed Dan with a nod, "we're ponies" "Yeah, and we're in a completely different world." added Gavin. "It's weird how normal this feels now." "I know, I really just hope that the guys are okay. I wonder if they even know we're gone." Gavin sighed, missing Earth. ....................... Michael and Ray returned to Michael's apartment, deciding that they needed to discuss what they saw on TV earlier in more detail. "We both know that we need to talk about this." Michael sighed, rubbing his forehead stressfully. "Yeah man, that was fuckin' weird." agreed Ray. The two men breathed out deeply. "I don't know if that was Gavin and Dan somehow... Or if we’re just going crazy." Michael grunted, trying his best to keep calm. Ray put his face in his hands for a few seconds, neither of the men having any clue where the other Team Lad member was. "Alright, the only logical explanation is that Gavin and Dan went to Hasbro, did some recording, and got ponies names after them." Ray mumbled, "The other explanation is, that they're both in Equestria" "Don't be a retard Ray! It's not fuckin' real!" yelled his friend his temper ‘slowly’ deteriorating. They sat in silence for about thirty seconds, both thinking as hard as they could for another way to explain what they saw. "Alright just play it again, we have to make sure." suggested Ray with a sigh. Michael nodded his head and turned on the TV, it was paused on Gavin, Dan and Long Shot. "Oh my GOD!" shouted Michael, "LOOK AT THEM!" "Okay, Michael, just play it." grunted Ray. He pressed play on his remote and the ponies jumped into life once again; their familiar British voices running through the minds of the two men. "Ok, so it's definitely them." said Ray flatly. "Yep," muttered Michael, "we need to tell someone, Ray." "Yeah. Let's show Geoff, see what he thinks." agreed Michael, turning off the TV once again. ....................... Dan patted Gavin on the back gently to calm his friend. "Nah, they'll be fine." he chuckled. Rainbow Dash turned around to look at the stallions, smiling at Dan patting Gavin friendlily. "Alright, come on guys we're nearly there." she cheered, picking up the pace a little bit. "Is she nice?" asked Gavin. "Yeah... She's actually a little like you." Rainbow Dash giggled in response, making Dan groan loudly. Rainbow Dash eventually stopped outside a small, brown, wooden house. Gavin and Dan looked over it, seeing that it was quite a nice little home. "Here we are." said the mare, taking a step onto the small porch that was in front of the house. The door suddenly flew open, revealing a light blue mare with piercing green eyes. She looked at the three ponies standing outside and her face relaxed into a warm smile. "Hello there!" she greeted happily, her voice having a weaker, northern British accent. "Hello!" greeted Gavin automatically with a large smile. "Where are you from?" asked Dan, noticing her accent. "Originally Manechester." she answered calmly. "Cool." replied Dan with a smile. Lou stood at the door for a second, looking down at them before finally remembering to let them in. She walked away from the door and allowed the three others to come inside. "Welcome to my home." she chuckled trotting over to the kitchen. Her house was all dark wood timber, with white and cream furnishings. There were a few pictures hanging on the walls two. However, the most bold of all the things in the house, was a cabinet full of finely polished, perfectly hung, razor sharp knives of all shapes and sizes. Gavin trotted over to it, and stared at Lou's collection, gathering her attention. "Like my knives?" she asked coolly, trotting over to him. "Yeah, why d'ya have 'em?" Gavin asked, mesmerized by the way the light reflected off the blades. "Oh y'know, for show." replied Lou. "They look beast." Gavin nodded with agreement and trotted back over to Dan, happy she wasn’t a serial killer. Rainbow Dash hovered towards Lou with a smile on her face. "So, wanna go somewhere with us?" she asked, "We’re kinda bored." Lou jumped into the air happily and waved her fore legs about. "Yeah! I'd love to!" she cheered hugging the other pegasus mare, "Lemme just go get my bits." Lou said, before darting upstairs.
