Magic and Science
Prologue
Once, in the strange land of Minecraftia, There was a server. But not just any server, as this server had something called Tekkit. Tekkit was a mod pack that added many new wonders, such as thousands of new uses for a substance called redstone, magic became quite real, and science advanced so far. But some used this for evil deeds. Two Minecraftians, by the names of Sjin and Lalna, started an all out war using science and magic as weapons. The land was destroyed, and everyone on the server was forced to start anew. Most Minecraftians forgot about the war that destroyed their old home, but there was one who never forgot. This Minecraftian's name was Rythian. He despised science, thinking it only destructive and awful. He sought revenge on Sjin and Lalna for destroying the old world, but never really got it. Lalna, worried about Rythian being a threat, hid a nuke under Rythian's castle, keeping the remote controller on him at all times for self defense. But one fateful day, while holding the remote, his finger slipped, and the button to set off the nuke was pressed.

"Rythian, help! The nuke started beeping, and I don't know what to do!"
"Rythian!"
"Rythian I need you!"
"I miss yo-" BOOM!

Rythian heard the explosion a mile away, and raced as fast as he could back to Blackrock. He pulled his cloak over his head in an attempt to shield himself from the falling debris. When he finally came to Blackrock- or where it used to stand- he fell to his knees. All the was left was a giant crater. He crawled over to the edge, and looked down. Nothing of his castle remained, except for a couple blocks of red wool floating in mid air.
"Oh god, Zoey..." Tears formed in his eyes, remembering how his red-headed friend had been trying to disable the nuke when he left, meaning she was probably in the center of the explosion. He opened his mouth to call her name, but was stopped when a blinding white light appeared in the crater. As the light dimmed, he saw that it was some sort of... rainbow? No, rainbows did not appear like that. The colors all swirled around in a large oval shape. Rythian hardly had any time to think about what it was when it began to pull him in. He writhed around, trying to get free, but it just kept pulling him in. He was soon suspended in mid air over the crater, knowing that if whatever this thing was dropped him, he would fall to his death. He silently cursed to himself for not keeping his flying ring with him. He was soon right in front of the swirly rainbow...whatever it was, when he whispered, "I'm sorry, Zoey. I failed." He gave the forest surrounding the crater a long look, before the light engulfed him.
