It is said Equestria shouldn't be like this. The new land has just been formed and ponies should be celebrating. "How can they be celebrating!?" my sister Celestia mumbles just loud enough for me to hear. Although there has been less fighting since Equestria was found, there is still more then enough for the win dagos to come back. "So much disharmony, How can this even be sister?" I asked with a puzzled face. Celestia does not respond at all and the surroundings of the Everfree Forest is all the noise that is made. I know she is upset, because she knows that she would be a better leader then Discord who was selected only because he was not a pony. All the Chaos he brings, the short day and nights, the random rain falls that ruin the ground. Selecting him as a leader was the worst mistake anypony could have made, but how were we to know?
As for my sister and I we just roam Equestria, no home, no family, and most importantly no food. We have lived off of these berries more then long enough in my opinion. No one can help us, nor shall there ever be anyone that can. As my elder sister trots along, I ride on her back half asleep and napping. I have always slept better in the day Celestia reminds me, but I still feel guilty that she carries me almost everyday when we move from town to town.
The warm spring breeze is flowing through my mane. It's nice sleeping through the day i can enjoy the beautiful night when the moon decides to rise. My sister stops walking and carefully lays me on the ground. "We shall stop here Luna," as if she is in command.
"But! Celestia we aren't even halfway to Ponyville yet!" I complain
"Then I will walk faster tomorrow."
"But!"
"No but's Luna! All you did was sleep all day anyway"
I can tell she is exhausted and annoyed, so I drop the subject and begin to help set up camp. Celestia makes a fire with her magic, I was never really sure how she got to be a unicorn and I myself a pegasi. Stupid wings! I wish i could make things burst into fire!
The sun quickly sets over the horizon, no doubt Discord's work. Celestia begins to fall asleep on the old mat we carry as a bed, but I am not tired and decide to roam the night. As I walk the sounds of the forest echo, the Timberwolves howling, my hoofsteps on the ground, and most importantly the crackle of the fire back at camp. I am allowed to roam just Ceslestia doesn't want me getting to far from camp. I turn a corner and find a small hut that looks as if it has been abandoned. Surely nopony dare try to live in the Everfree Forest, it is much to dangerous. I decide to tell my sister what I have found in the morning as I see the sun starting to peek over the horizon.
