It was seven o’ clock in the morning, and it was someone’s special day! (From the chapter’s title, I guess you know whose.) It was Rarity’s birthday! Rarity woke up from a bump!
“What is that?” Rarity thought to herself. It was like the time when her sister, Sweetie Belle, woke her up when she was trying to cook her breakfast in bed. It was dangerous, but it was also nice. Sweetie Belle’s heart was in the right place, but smoke was everywhere! Rarity put on her slippers and ran down stairs! She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw…
“Spike! What are you doing here?” Rarity asked the purple and green intruder.
“I was, um, trying to do something for your birthday!"
“You could have at least done it quietly,” Rarity responded sternly.
“Sorry. It was a surprise,” Spike said sadly.
“Oh, it’s okay! Do you want me to go, so you could finish, then?” She asked the baby dragon, and she sounded a little excited.
“Sure! It is your big day! Do whatever you want!”
“Okay! I’ll be back in three hours! Is that enough time for you?” Rarity asked.
“Yeah!” he answered.
“Alright, goodbye Spike!"
“Bye!” he yelled waving bye to Rarity. When Rarity left out of the house, Spike began to sing his favorite song.
“Rarity, when I first saw you,” he sang, ” I said oh my! That’s my dream, that’s my dream!”
